We had the BEST experience with Marino Jeep. We have a 3 yr old Jeep Grand Cherokee that we had bought from another well-known Jeep dealer in the Chicagoland area. Recently, we started having a HORRENDOUS smell come through the air conditioning system every time we started the car. We took it to the dealer where we had bought the car. After two days of looking at the car, they said they couldn't duplicate the issue and there was nothing wrong. They said the only other option would to be to have the car professionally detailed. We couldn't understand how this was even possible -- the smell was atrocious and everyone who got in the car noticed it! I asked to speak to a service manager and was told that there was no one else for me to speak with. Frustrated, I left and made an appointment to have the car detailed.
The detailer smelled the same smell but wasn't able to do anything about it, noting that it was coming from inside the air conditioner system.
At the advice of a friend, I reached out to Marino Jeep. They took the car and provided us with a brand new loaner to use while they investigated. Within a day, they identified three MAJOR issues with our air conditioning and heating system that the previous dealer had missed. The repairs were estimated at almost $5K and Marino proactively worked with our warranty company to get the entire repair covered. Although the problems were complex (they had to take off the front dashboard), they let us keep the loaner while they worked and they were able to fix the problem and we have had NO issues since then.
We could not be happier with their expertise, their work and their customer service. We will gladly drive the 45 minutes from our house to use them for all future repairs. We highly recommend them - particularly for the complicated stuff!
