Reason for Visit: Sales
I recommend this dealer: No
My Review of Affinity Auto Sales:
Purchased a 1992 Mercedes from the dealership as an online transaction, so a lot of trust had to be placed in the dealership, and the trust was abused.
Problem #1:
Most egregiously, the blower fan mysteriously quit working on my flight out to MA, whereas they said that a new one will be installed and for a little over a year, worked fine. It quit this past October, and when the mechanic pulled out the old blower, it clearly was a salvage part from the condition of the case and brushes. To top it off, these clowns wanted me to pay for the blower, of course not informing me of this until I get to the dealer. (I did make a partial payment to keep things civil.) This entire scenario is what actually prompted me to write this review.
Problem #2:
A/C charge lasted a month. "Sorry, we didn't know there was a leak" was their response, but that is what UV dye is for, and I explicitly asked for them to check this out. Evaporator turned out to be the culprit and the cost to fix was $2500.
Lessons learned:
Avoid internet transactions.
Avoid Affinity Auto Sales.
Hope this can help someone else out...
