My Review of Chrysler-Jeep of Maplewood:
This dealer out and out lied to me. They told me they could put a a towing package on my jeep liberty. Turns out thats impossible. And now they are saying that they never promised that. Now I have a truck that is useless to me. And the dealer is in now was intrested in trying to correct this issue. I will be submitting complaints everywhere I can. Please do youself a favor a

My Review of Chrysler-Jeep of Maplewood:
My experience at this dealer has not been positive, I have gotten the run around since the beginning of the transaction. It started with being called in to sign the paper work, stating that the deal was approved, upon arrival to the dealer, information was not finalized and I spent over an hour and 1/2 waiting and still had to come back after work to sign the deal and get the car. The next phase was the process of cashing the check for deposit on the vehicle, it was agreed upon between myself and the finance manager that the check would not be cashed right away due to transfer of funds from one account to another. The promise was not kept, the check bounced and caused an overdraft fee in my account, almost causing 3 other transactions to bounce. This was on May 18th, to date, the check has not been cashed and I have made repeated phone calls asking when it will be and always told something different by a different individual. The latest fiasco was that my temporary registration/plates expire today, June 2nd and I called to ask if they were ready as of yet. I was told that they could not release the plates to me because I still owe money, the money that is owed is $1400.00 agreed upon between myself and the finance manager to bring in when picking up plates. Now the amount being asked for is $2400.00, stating that I was not eligible for a $1000.00 rebate through Chrysler financing based on my credit. This rebate was included on the contract and signed by myself and the finance department along with my total deposits of $3400.00. The dealership is now asking for another $1000.00 from me, I am not responsible for this money, this was a contractual agreement. My entire experience has not been handled properly at this dealership, no one wants to handle the situation, everyone passes the buck, so to speak and the situation has not been resolved, I am beside myself and am almost to the point of taking the vehicle back and re-capturing my old one.

My Review of Chrysler-Jeep of Maplewood:
When I bought our Cherokee Limited this dealership was under different ownership & management. That group of people went 110% for us in locating exactly what we wanted at another dealer, picking it up and servicing it. The salesman was nice and very open & honest. Sadly the former owner wasn't. Dealership was sold. All new people now. I take my car in for service and always great terrific service. They even drive me home (8 miles each way) and pick me up when my car is about ready. Free Breakfast, too. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the work is always done right the 1st time and they keep my car clean. (I am super duper fussy)!! Never have a complaint with Chrysler/Jeep of Maplewood.

My Review of Chrysler-Jeep of Maplewood:
i had the same issues as the original review. my husband and i were searching around for a minivan. when we went to the dealership, we were told that we could get a fully loaded town and country limited for the same price that we were paying on our volvo. we jumped at the deal! my husband stayed to do all the paperwork and came home an hour or so later with our shiny new car. we were told that because the dealership had just re-opened under new management, we would have to wait for chrysler to send them the contracts. when they arrived, they would call us to come and sign them. in the meantime, we had the car and were putting miles on it. a few weeks later we received a call from Ulyses. he told us that based on my husband's credit, the initial contract didn't matter. when chrysler got the paperwork they raised the financing amount by $60 a month. supposedly, this was because our original paperwork was done on a weekend when the bank was closed and couldn't get approved from chrysler. we had two options, bring the car back with it's 1500 miles or pay the difference. it doesn't seem like much but over 4 years it does add up. needless to say, with two toddlers, we just kept it. we have been miserable ever since. i will never ever go to this dealership for anything! i would be embarassed to recommend it to anyone!
