My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
You know whats amazing - I just stumbled on this page as I just bought
a new Mazda Tribute 2008 and the story I had was the EXACT same as the
other one on this page Posted !!!! WOW - I was lied to and deceived
left & right by A salesman who promised me this and that and after I
signed and paid them - I came for the truck and it was scratched and
had no sunroof as PROMISED . It had NO side bars as PROMISED and it had
no pin striping or tint as PROMISED . But the sick part was I wrote all
these things down and said ARE WE GOOD before I paid and signed LOL !
They are incredible there . YES they do rob lie and deceive ! I confirm
that . I had to fight for weeks to get what I was told I HAD ! The sun
roof does not come in that model BUT the salesman said it did - he then
said woops sorry thats my bad . I was told sorry MY error over & over .
I doubt they were sorry -THEY LIED to make the sale. Read the other
Post on this page . MORE than one says what they do there. Then the
side bars that I was promised - I too was told same BS that they sold
it so low they cannot give them to me BUT I can pay for them and they
will install them labor free and charge me the factory price and NOT
MAKE a CENT on me - well well well . Thus the MGR there told me $700 -
I made some calls to other Mazda dealers out of Brooklyn and in LI a
place quoted me $280 for them so they FLAT OUT LIED again to make a
fast $500 off me but I am not stupid ! When I called the MGR out he
too got loud and WANTED to FIGHT ME TOO ! This is just way too
coincidental to other story . He wanted to break my contract after we
almost exchanged fists . So very professional ? I complained to MAZDA
CORP and they sent me a $280 check because they had SO many complaints
about them and I too filed with the BBB and Consumer Affairs. What a
joke mickey mouse Operation going on there YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS - I forgot to mention that when I got the truck they offered to take
my old truck due back to Ford and return it . SIX WEEKS after I got a
call from Ford saying where is OUR TRUCK and you owe us $400 in late
fees ...... I went to that Mazda and asked whats going on and was told
WOOOPS WE FORGOT and it sat in their lot for 6 weeks - Enough said

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
I took my 2004 mazdarx8 in because the check engine light came on. I thought it would be covered by warranty they told me some b/s story about the emission system and charged me $500.I thought all they had to do was reset the check engine light. (BECAUSE IT HAPPENED WHEN I DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY TO CLEAN THE TERMINALS)

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
This dealer IS THE WORST DEALER EVER!!! Please read until the end!!
First of all it took us 2 months to get the license plate. I first noticed that the temporary tag was about to expire. I called and they told me to come out and they turned the "6" of 06-23-08 to an "8" for 08-23-08 with a pen! This was a little strange. After calling them another 6 times they said that they had the plate in. Can you believe I had to call to ask them for this? They never called us back!
Secondly I went back 1 week later to get the detailing and the "sirius satellite" antenna as promised at the contract signing. The salesman told me that the satellite didn't actually come with the car. He said he made a mistake and he only made $80 from the transaction so he couldn't afford to pay for his mistake. The financing guy who was there at the signing remembered and asked "How can we make this right with you"? I replied give me what was promised. He goes to the desk comes back 15 min later after talking to the manager who gave the OK, and he tells me to go to service and they will take care of it. I set up an appointment, take the car at 7AM. Few hours later I get a call saying the manager wasn't going to OK the service. So I called the manager more than six times and not one return call! I actually had to take the train and go there to talk to them in person. As it turns out the salesman doesn't work there anymore, and the manager completely verbally abused me. He made me feel as if I was trying to get something for free when only a month and half before he agreed to said job. He nearly challenged me to a fight. I was truly amazed at the behavior of this so called manager. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB. IF YOU WANT TO BE DISRESPECTED AND DECEIVED get your car from here.

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
I HAVE REPORTED THEIR UNETHICAL TACTICS TO THE CONSUMERS UNION AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CAR DEARLERSHIP IN THE USA!

I visited the dealership, Max the very (pompous & arrogant sales person) tried to separate me from my husband and make an offer to me - needless to say, my husband was livid at the blatant disrespect! Couldn't offer me the price I wanted and Max kept saying in a very loud tone 'it would be disrespectful to go any lower' (hey dude, it's disrespectful that you 'play golf with Mr. Giuffre' but you are still a frigging salesman!). I thanked him and left.

Two days later, con artist #2 Jason called me and asked why I didn't purchase the car - I told him my terms - he said, 'I'll call you back in 15 minutes'. Five hours later I called back to say 'why the heck haven't you called me back' and he acted at first as if he didn't even know who I was. Then lie #2 - 'the manager is in a meeting, so no decision can be made' - hello, isn't a sales manager suppose to be on the floor at all times to make deals? That's why it's called a DEALERSHIP!!!!

Next day, my phone rings again and in steps con artist #3 Ivan. At this point I am livid and tell them about their un-professionalism and to stop wasting my time. He apologizes and asks me for my terms, I tell him and he said he will speak to the manager and call me in 5 minutes. Three minutes later he calls back and says 'the manager agreed to your terms and we have a deal’. We agreed to an appointment to finalize the paper work. I arrived at the appointed time.... Of course, it gets better….

My husband and I show up only to be greeted by another salesperson who then tells us that he just spoke to the manager and he apologizes but he can not give us the terms as agreed. At this point I am livid and thinking is this for real? I ask him, 'are you done'? He responds, 'yes', I get up and say 'stop wasting my time' and walk out. At that point they could have offered me the car for $10, I wasn't interested.

If they could treat me so disrespectfully and blatantly lie in my face like that, what could they do behind my back with my paper-work and with the car as it has to be serviced with them???? Based on PRINCIPAL, they could never get my business and I will sing their dishonesty as far as I can to let EVERYONE know never to go there. I have told a good 20 people about the bad service there and they in turn have told others and on and on… bad news spreads like wild fire….. Keep this going!

From all the reviews I see posted, Giuffre Mazda will continue to dig their hole into financial ruin... NEVER, EVER do business with these scam artists!

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
WORST DEALER I have seen. Call up and they told me they have the car ready to test drive. Go there and the car isn't there. They didn't have any the models in inventory. Have to pay $1000 deposit to see the car. So since I was there I figured I might as well talk about pricing. Couldn't get the price I want without financing it through them and I had to put a $1000 down payment. WORST PLACE EVER. If you don't want headaches and the run arounds, don't even think about talking to them.

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
DO NOT EVERY GO TO THIS DEALER, THEY LIE AND THEY'RE PROUD OF IT!

We were quoted a price on a car over the phone by Stephanie who said she was the sales manager and she had okayed the price with the owner. We asked if that was the final price and if there would be no other costs added on and she said yes this was the final price. We live almost 1-1/2 hours from the dealership, so right before we got left to drive there we called again and once again we were promised the same price with no extra charges. We get there and Stephanie was gone (to a dr’s appt.- at 8:45pm??) and Nick came over and said he was the sales manager. He goes downstairs and comes back and says he called the owner and he couldn't give us that price and started telling us we would have to pay for all these extra charges. We asked why they had told us differently on the phone and made us drive all the way in. He actually looked me in the eye and said "WE TELL PEOPLE WHATEVER THEY WANT TO HEAR JUST TO GET THEM TO COME IN. When I said you mean you and your staff just lie to people, make them drive all the way here and then change the story, he said "What's the matter, you've never been lied to before?" We ended up in a screaming match with him, but he said he would not give us the car for the price that we were promised and would not let us speak to the owner. BOTTOM LINE - I've bought a lot of cars in my life and have never come in contact with a more dishonest, cheating, nasty dealership. If you read all the rest of the blogs out there, you'll see that this is how they run their business and they don't care. DO NOT GO TO THEM, THEY CHEAT THEIR CUSTOMERS, THEY DON'T DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
The dealership is run by a bunch of dishonest thieves. They lie and make excuses repeatedly. They do not stand behind their word. They purposely overcharge for items, confuse, harrass, put off and lie, lie, lie. I hope Giuffre Mazda is closed down and those lying thieves left unemployed.

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
After they tried quoting me 4 different prices when I kept saying no, they told me about the car I wanted however it was locked up in their storage lot for the night and I could see it in the morning or the next day. The told me I'd have to leave a deposit on the car and they would take it off the inventory at least until I saw it and if I didn't like it'd get the deposit back. Moronicly, I agreed and left 100 dollars on my credit card. After finding another dealership thenext morning with the car I wanted, and for a lower price, I tried getting my deposit back from Giuffre only to get the run around at every attempt. Come by tonigt... I get there and they say they can't do it that night and I have to call in on Friday to get the charge refursed, I call Firday and they say have to come in...

Stay away from this place...

My Review of Giuffre Mazda of Bay Ridge:
Went there to purchase a car. Arrived 11AM in the morning. Sat and spoke with us for for 2 hours straight. Asked to have them match Manfredi's quote or we were leaving. They agreed to same price. We say 3 times "does it include tax and titles?" both scam artists say yes. We say, no hidden prices? they both say nothing hidden. We wanted to trade in our car, they say 500-1000 for trade in but bring it in for the "adjuster" to look at it. We bring it in at 2:30 that same day. The "appraiser" is none other than the salesperson Jonathan! What 500-1000 for trade in! He says $300 is the best he can do. He makes us sit and wait now to finish the deal till 4:15PM! This is an entire day wasted! Jonathan the sales guy takes us downstairs to finish up, and the guy down there first comments to us was "no one told me that you were coming back today, it was suppose to be tomorrow". And what does this have to do with anything?? He tries to convince us to buy extra stuff we say no. We say we will be back with the amount paid in full that we agreed upon upstairs. We are literally handing over the title to the old car, and he tell us the price. It's $3,000 more than what we agreed upon! He calls joe the manager and jonathan, and both admit they agreed it was a done deal upstairs. Then joe the manager starts changing his story and says he never said anything about the agreed price and we say, so if you are admitting to our faces that you agreed on a price then you have to take the loss of your mistake and give it to us for the price agreed upon. he says "i'm not eating the difference!!!". We start yelling and screaming and we leave. Mind you, they added on $1,200 for absolutely no reason whatsoever that was part of the $3,000 above quote agreed price.

Avoid them like the plague, they are scam artists and should not be doing business!!!
