My Review of Lazare Lincoln Mercury:
My first visit to Lazare in December 1999, and a subsequent visit in February 2000, were pure hell. T.J. is the kind of sales rep that, as a sales director, I would have fired in the first two hours - tactless enough to actually inform me that I was "wasting his time" (there were no other people in the showroom) because I wanted to try to buy a car for my wife without her there with me. This was on the second visit - on the first one, he pulled us out of a car we were about to test-drive because he couldn't get a credit score on us that late at night. Completely crass and unprofessional - I didn't go in for four years after that, and I bought several Ford and Mercury products in that time span, so I guess good ol' T.J. misses out on a lot of commission. My next visit, in 2003, had me dealing with another pushy salesman, Colin...who apparently didn't understand the words "five year term, max," and kept trying to sell me a Sable with a six-year loan. Finally, in 2005, I met Kerry Scanlon. While our numbers were somewhat apart, he was the first truly professional and helpful person I'd ever met at Lazare. I'd avoid this place like the plague, though.
