My Review of Smart Center Warwick:
The salesman who helped us, Doug, was very knowledgable and friendly. We came into the center with the thought of purchasing a third car for our son who just reached driving age. Needless to say, we had a million questions about safety and our son was interested in every last detail of the car as he is quite the car buff at 16! I cannot emphasize enough how helpful Doug was. He answered all of our questions, providing us with more than enough information to make an informed decision. In the end, we decided to allow our son to borrow the family car for the first few years, until he can save up for one himself. But we almost felt badly not buying a car from Doug!! I would absolutely recommend SMART to anyone who asks about my experience there. Kudos to the Smart Center, and to Doug in particular.

My Review of Smart Center Warwick:
Because I am a cynic, I went to this dealership expecting the product to be marginal and I also expected the typical high pressure "buy NOW" sales approach. I was happily surprised by the Smart fortwo as a vehicle, and even more so with the attitude of the sales staff.

It seems that to get info on a Smart vehicle, you have to register on some web site, which starts a sales tracking application. I did not really want to do this, but as it seemed the only way to get Smart info, I took the plunge.

Over about three weeks from my first web inquiry I got an appropriate number of email replies, no sales pressure, just informative. And a postcard telling me about 1.9% financing. The in-person treatment was just the same. Doug was well-versed in the product and explained the vehicle's features. Susan was professional in the sales/finance end. All in all the staff is pleasant and there were no unpleasant surprises.

Before I retired I managed fleet auto purchases for a New England corporation and have seen the worst of auto sales. We were purchasing 3 to 5 vehicles a year from various dealers and some were aggressive dogs just trying to make a month-end quota. In contrast, Smart Warwick showed me just about the best. My Smart fortwo gets a lot of attention and I wholeheartily recommend Smart Center Warwick as a dealer to the people who crowd around.

I have had no service or warranty issues so I can't comment on that part of the dealership, but I would not be surprised if it is as good as the sales end.

I live in CT and so far have put 2800 miles on the car. I have no connection with the dealership other than as a customer.
