My Review of Acura of Las Vegas:
I went to this dealership looking to purchase a new TL. The salesman (Jim Moody) that helped me was not very knowledgeable about the vehicle or about competitive pricing. His "Floor Manager" (Ralph Planzo) came over to help with getting the price I was looking for & quoted me a competitive price for a TL with navigation. I explained that in CA, the prices were not so high for the same vehicle. Further, this dealership wants to charge almost $2,000 for a protective package on every single vehicle, just for it being in a desert city. These vehicle are made to withstand intense heat. Ralph Planzo quoted me an ok price, but try to get the "discount" back from me by giving me a horrible deal on my trade-in. I told him I could sell my car to Carmax & receive more for it. He then tried to wheel & deal on a TL w/out navigation, but I told him that I definitely wanted navigation. I told him I would think about it & if I could have the same deal if I called the next day. He said "yes." However, when I called the next day, Ralph Planzo stated that he never gave me any such quote for the navigation; it was only for the 1 w/out navigation. He then quoted me a much higher price & then said they were unable to do it. Then he chastised me for calling my original salesman, Jim Moody, & telling him about what happened. These guys are crooks! Do not go to this dealership. I went to California & saved $6,000 by taking a simple trip there & didn't have to pay $2,000 for a ridiculous protective package! Carmax also gave me a fair deal on my vehicle & I made some money to put down on my new TL. So, if a dealership tries to give you a bad deal on your trade-in, go there & most likely it will be better.
