"Minor suggestion"

My wife brought our recently purchased CPO Elantra into parts/service because it only came with 1 key/remote. Prior I was told it would take 15-20 mins to set up the alarm and that no appointment was necessary. When I asked best time to come in I was told bybparts mgr early morning was the worst so any other time is preferable. As soon as she arrived she was courteously greeted but immediately told it takes 45 mins or longer to get the remote programming done. The minor rub and direction of my advice is this was the 3rd time in 3 events that sales to parts, parts to service can't get on the same page. Besides it coming across unprofessionally, the unnecessary aggrevation of doubling wait time, or prior an unnecessary visit leads to diminishing opinion of the dealership on whole. Small things accumulate and compound into larger problems. All could have easily been avoided if 1 person in one department confirms or asks another person in another department prior to speaking on their behalf. The irony is they're not even 15 feet apart..m

"Hopefully 6th time is the charm"

This was the sixth time my car has been to dealer for the same issue. However this time staff is confident they have found the root cause and fixed it. I hope so. What I do know is each time the staff has worked on it quickly and when they thought it was fixed got me back on way with the minimum of inconvenience. I really appreciate this.

"Not very good"

Bought a used car on 1-20-17 from AutoMax Norman. It is a 2005 Honda with 118,000 miles. Was assured by the salesperson that the car had been check out and that everything was fine. Got it home and it had an oil leak. Took it back a little over a week later on a Saturday, but the person that works on this was not there, only works M - F from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The service manager didn't know if he would be able to get me to work on Monday if I dropped it off. I yelled loud enough where I got a loaner. Didn't really want a loaner, just wanted to get to work on Monday after I dropped the car off. They found a leak, fixed it (supposedly) and gave it back to me without a charge. Got it home and it was still leaking, but I thought maybe it was just from the oil change and it would go away. It did not and 3 weeks later I take it back and now it is a major oil leak. They want $1,800 more to fix a leak that should have been fixed before they placed it to be sold. I paid cash, which they also didn't like, and now are using that against me. The only person that was nice is Margo Hayes in the service department. I was told to trade the vehicle in with them, and buy a new car. If I wanted a new car I would have done so in the first place. We have no debt, and that is why we saved so we could afford a nice little car for me to drive to work everyday. I will never buy from them again, and I will tell everyone I know or even don't know to never go to this place. If all AutoMax's are like this one, then they are all bad.

"Quick and easy service"

Took my 2008 Accent in because the brake lights would not go off and it was running down the battery. Did some online research and found out that it was most likely the switch at the brake pedal or the "little rubber thingy" that makes contact with the switch. Both seem like easy fixes but I just couldn't see a man my size crawling under the dash. I expected the repairs to cost about $150.00 for labor and parts and I resigned myself to that and took the car in. Automax fixed the car while I went to lunch with coworkers and charged me $12.43 (just the cost of parts). I asked why there was no labor charge and the service guy just said, "it was a simple fix and we were happy to do it". left me speechless. They have always done a great job for me.

"Simple 3750 scheduled maintenance"

Easy as pie. Arranged an appointment on line at 8:15 am on a Saturday. Got me right in. Waited for 20 minutes in a pleasant customer area. Price was right. Got me right out.

I bought a new Hyundai Accent from Automax in 2008. I now have 138,000 miles on it and I took it in to have the timing belt replaced (replace at about 60 K miles and now again at 138K miles). Mechanic did a great job, no surprises.

"Scheduled maintenance."

I came in for the 15,000 maintenance service. I expected it would take a while, but I was in and out in 30 minutes! So fast and the technician explained exactly what they did. I have been to this dealership several times in the past five years and love them. Both sales and service have been great.
