My Review Of Bettenhausen Fiat:

Patrick was awesome! He listened to what I wanted and helped me make the best decision on which Fiat to pick out for my first new car. He also helped me get an awesome deal from the bank, too. I liked how they don't have a finance manager, and Patrick didn't have to go back and forth with anyone at the dealership.

My Review Of Bettenhausen Fiat:

I have previously submitted a review of this Fiat dealer, but something recently came to my attention and I wanted to add this. I recently purchased a Fiat Abarth from this dealer, and while I absolutely love this car, I am having second thoughts about my experience.

One of the other Fiat dealers in the Chicago area called to follow up and find out if I had bought a car yet. After informing them that I had purchased a Fiat Abarth, the sales person asked me if I knew about the "Driving Experience" that is included in my purchase.

I then find out that because I purchased the Abarth, I can take part in a all day professional driving course at one of many race tracks around the country....for FREE! Why didn't my sales person mention this when selling me a car? Why do I have to rely on another dealer to share this information with me?

While I feel like this employee is very friendly and personable, she is seriously lacking in the information and customer service department.
This is not Jessica's fault, the dealership should do more to educate their associates.

Thank you Fiat of Chicago for valuable information.

My Review Of Bettenhausen Fiat:

After reviewing several dealer inventories online, I decided to visit this dealership because it was A) the closest to my home and B) was advertised on a radio station that I listen to: WGN Radio.

I was a little surprised that after looking at the cars in the lot for a few minutes that I did not have a sales person on my hip, but I think that it reflects more of the no pressure atmosphere that I later felt than the lack of service and attention by the staff. Once I walked inside the showroom Sonata made me feel at home, was very knowledgeable and worked to get me finaced at a payment I felt comfortable with.

I happened to interact with a few other employees of the dealership and they all were quite friendly and repectful.

To make a long story short I left the showroom with a new Fiat 500 that I promptly drove from Tinley Park to Indianapolis for a wedding. I was thrilled that after driving all that way I had not even consumed a half of a tank of gas. That would not have been a reality with the truck that I traded in.

I must say that I did receive quite a bit of ribbing on Monday morning from the guys I work with who drive full size, gas guzzling pickups. However, after letting a few of them take my car for a ride, they came back saying they were impressed with it.

In reference to the Jennifer Lopez commercials, I now have a new nickname at work: D-Lo. I will live with it! lol

My Review Of Bettenhausen Fiat:

We had a great experience with Sonata and the dealership. From the moment we contacted her for a quote on the new Fiat to the financing to signing the deal - everything went smoothly. This was my first time buying a car and getting financed for one was made easy by Sonata. We've been to several other dealerships (not only Fiat), where they wasted our time, tried to switch the car on the credit application and tried to put on additional fees without properly explaining them. I am very glad we went with Bettenhausen, because we got a great deal as well as pleasant and knowledgeable service. Thank you Sonata for your help, advice and a good deal!

My Review Of Bettenhausen Fiat:

When I walked in I had to go actually go ask the branch manager for help as no salespersons asked me. Other than that the experience was good. However, the internet-based discount price includes an array of discounts which are nearly impossible to redeem all at once. One was $500 off for active military or retired military (20ys). Another $800 was for trading in a volkswagen. I got $2000 off invoice for a 2012 sport. Not bad, an additional $300 was taken off also. I didn't like the $40 they charge for using nitrogen in the tires but they fill up the gas tank so I guess that's even.

Adam was proficent,and expedited the process and the transaction was smooth. Do some research on the fiat 500,download the service manual for free from fiat and come with alot of questions. The dealership didn't tell me there wasn't a spare tire so I had to ask(most new cars provide fill a flat which fiat does). The salespeople let you test-drive by yourself which is a bonus. Expect to pay about $2300 on top of the car price for tax,destination fee ($700), document fee ($160), and some other small fees and plates. They were helpful with financing and I got approved within 10 minutes of filling out the application.

I declined the warranty coverages (around 5) after the sales.

We would like to thank our sales person, Sonata, for giving us the best "buying a car" experience that we have had in years. Trust me, there have been many cars bought and traded. She was great, trusting, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the Fiat. And, she worked hard to get us a loan we could be happy with. I would recommend her to anyone who would want to purchase a Fiat. And I would recommend Bettenhausen Fiat as THE place to go to get a car. Thank you, Sonata and Bettenhausen Fiat for a wonderful experience and a beautiful new 2012 Electric Blue Fiat 500 Sport!!! We LOVE it!!!

I drove 5 hours from MI.,and due to my e-mail misque, Jessica was off that day. Her co-worker phoned her and she came right in!! Bettenhausen Fiat had the BEST price by far, over the dealers in MI. Jessica got us through all the paperwork,car was cleaned and prepped while we waited. Upon returning home I noticed an issue with one of the dealer add-on's, but that has been resloved. Overall it was a good buying experience..good pizza at Ed&Joe's.............Bob Gajewski
