My Review of Bill Heard Chevrolet:
I WENT TO THIS DEALER FOR A PROMOTION THAT THEY WERE RUNNING. SALE STATED THAT EVERYONE WHO APPLIED WOULD BE APPROVED.. NO ONE WOULD BE DENIED.. I SENT IN AN ONLINE APPLICATION JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT THERE WAS A REASON FOR ME TO MAKE THE 6 HR TRIP THERE AND BACK. AND I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD DEFINATELY BE APPROVED. I TOOK THE DRIVE DOWN THERE JUST TO BE TOLD NO..
IN MY OPINION THIS WAS FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING.. THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH BAD CREDIT THAT JUST NEED SOMEONE TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE.. FOR ALL YOU OUT THERE LIKE ME.. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO.

My Review of Bill Heard Chevrolet:
I have tried severial times to deal with BH in Huntsville and each time was met with high pressure, half-truths, and tactics worthy of the CIA.

The service department is even worse. My wife took the car in to Bill Heard Service for an oil change ( I don't ever use them for service but forgot to tell my wife this) They told her after using thier high tech gizmo that the brake fluid had water in it and needed to be changed out. She agreed and they charged us over $150 for this very tricky procedure (geezzz)! Well I noticed after she brought it home that they didn't change the filter. I called and they said oh must have been an oversight please bring it back and we will fix it. I did the next and a lo and behold the darned brake fluid had water in it again!!! That darn water in the brake fluid is tough stuff.

After a few choice words to the service guy I told him to give me the damn filter and I would never darken thier doors again.

NEVER buy from or service at this dealer, royal rip-off artists!!!

The price advertised was not honored.
They attempted to get near this price while introducing extra charges to compensate for any price reduction to do this.
They used three different sales persons over two hours to get me to agree to purchase under these conditions.
Avoid this dealership entirely!

Wow, I hope other people do their research before doing business with this dealership. We learned the hard way, they are very deceptive. I will never again purchase a vehicle from these people and I'm considering never again purchasing a Chevrolet just because of this experience. I will try and pursue this further but it looks like other people here have had no luck.

My Review of Bill Heard Chevrolet:
I should have known. We had visited Bill Heard to review the available Chevrolet products prior to a possible purchase. Salesman were everything you do not want.<br> ...We purchased Suburban (elsewhere) but went to the service department at Bill Heard. A. Unneccessary repairs (and no documentation, accountability or reason). B. Upon repair, A/C barely cooled. Recommedation of additional maint., replacement of condensors, compressors etc.....1000 plus 1000 plus 1000 etc.....then I went to the internet, parts research, clinton etc and<br>was able to document that they had installed the incorrect fan for the a/c. After their error they wanted to continue to 'fix' it to the tune of several thousand more dollars. Would it have EVER been fixed? Probably not. What would have happened if I hadn't spent several hours researching and doing my OWN troubleshooting? If someone breaks into your home and steals a 500.00 TV, they can go to prison. If Bill Heard steals 2000.00 from you in repairs not needed, it is just an honest mistake?........I think not! After we discovered their &quot;error&quot;, all previous 'work' came into question. Also labor is the highest I have ever paid $85.00 an hour. And they even charged me for 2 windshield wipers (just the rubber inserts). The cost for 2 windshield wipers? $65.00!!!!!! I did not ask for the service and when I pointed that out they said, &quot;we can deduct the labor $20.00 but we have installed the blades so we have to charge you for them?<br>(46.00 for TWO RUBBER BLADE INSERTS!!!!!!!!!!) (actual cost at any other retail place would be about 12.00 for BOTH!<br>Warning! Warning. We thought we should go to an AUTHORIZED Chevrolet dealer for our repairs.....so we could TRUST that the repairs are to factory standard etc......Bill heard thinks the customer is a money tree!...........

My Review of Bill Heard Chevrolet:
They are frauds and misrepresent themselves in their ads. Was told could not purchase vehicle, because did not have a down payment. Also, salesman tried to get us to do a hold check until we had the down payment. Salesman also proceeded to use pressure tactics to get us to purchase vehicle. Salesman tried to get us to purchase an used vehicle that over 80,000 miles on with no warranty. The seats on the used vehicle were bad looking. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

My Review of Bill Heard Chevrolet:
Dealer made extensive promises to close deal, none of which were committed to contract. It took me five hours to purchase this car while price was listed in ad. The rest was nonsense trying to get me to buy extras I didn't want. I'm 54 years old and this is the worst car buying experience of my life. I have written letters to Bill Heard at dealership in Houston as well as corporate in Ga. No response. Then follow up to GM with cover letter over original to B. Heard. GM assigned case to follow up. Sixteen calls to dealer by GM remained unanswered. GM department manager suggested that case worker drop efforts that dealer obviously was not going to respond. Said they would put information in B. Heard file for future reference. Purchase was Z06 Corvette.
