My Review of Glendale Pontiac GMC:
We purchased a vehicle from Glendale GMC in July 08. A "Certified" Suburban- 07. What started out as a pleasant transaction ended up being the absolute WORST ever in my 20 plus years of purchasing vehicles both new and preowned. We were not provided with floor mats, only given one key, no manuals, overcharged fees, undercharged license fees with no explanation and many other problems including NO RETURN PHONE CALLS! When we called the dealership, we were conveniently "disconnected" or the person was never in. Something as simple as a $90.00 refund for a check they were not supposed to cash took a dozen phone calls, two letters and zero return calls. Instead of Joe, the owner and manager, returning a call, we received a text message with only a random phone number. - Very unprofessional. To top it off, within the first two weeks, we had a major component on the vehicle blow up on us that thankfully was still under warranty. The service department took three days to repair and left my husband waiting in the service department for 4 hours before telling him it would be a few days to repair. We will say, the initial contact from the sales manager and our sales person was pleasant only until they got our signatures. We believe they were not pleased that we came in with our own financing. They wanted to make money on the loan more than interested in retaining us as customers.Everyone from the sales person, managers, finance managers and service managers spent most of their time passing the buck and never really coming up with answers. We would rather have someone tell us "we aren't really sure what to do..but we will make something happen", then just rudely ignore and blame the next person in line. I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS PRIOR TO EVEN VISITING THE DEALERSHIP! We are new to the state and could kick ourselves for not investigating. The Better Business Bureau has enough complaints on them that had I done my homework I would have moved on. My bad! - Good Luck to anyone who considers allowing Glendale GMC to "earn your business". If I ever hear that phrase again, I think I will throw up!

My Review of Glendale Pontiac GMC:
I purchased my car from Glendale Auto [www.glendaleauto.net] in December - height of winter in Arizona. At the time of purchase, I didn't take it for a test drive and believed everything the salesperson told me. After all, she verbally told me there was no room for a spare tire and showed me how to work the convertible top. I realized recently that the car sold to me has no AC installed [Hello - this is Arizona where people and animals DIE from being in closed vehicles with no air!]. I contacted the salesperson and she says there is nothing she can do. When I purchased the car, the window sticker was removed for me, which is a violation of a federal statute:

Consumer Protections
Before individuals purchase a vehicle, there are already several federal laws at work that govern the quality and safety of products available for their purchase. Most of these are found under Title 15 (Commerce and Trade) of the U. S. Code.

The federal Automobile Information Disclosure Act, 15 USC 1231 et seq., requires automobile manufacturers and importers of new cars to affix a sticker on the window of each vehicle, called the "Monroney label." The label must list the base price of the vehicle, each option installed by the manufacturer and its suggested retail price, the transportation charge, and the car's fuel economy (in miles per gallon). Only the ultimate user (the buyer) can remove the label.

Val admitted in an email that someone removed the window sticker, and states it was placed in my glove compartment, but it is conveniently nowhere to be found now. This is especially odd, since the car wasn't detailed properly that day and I had contacted Val about that too. What a bunch of BS.

Subject: Re: Valerie

Prior to you agreeing to come in back in Dec 07, I emailed you the website window sticker on this particular vehicle. It listed all adds from factory and all standard options as well. When you took delivery I know the detailers had placed the window sticker in the vehicle's glove compartment.

All that I can do at this point as I stated before is discuss options with the management team. In doing so they have gotten the info for an aftermarket a/c unit to be installed in your Solstice for $3400. As stated before, they are willing to assist with a loaner vehicle.

I am doing everything at this point to assist you.

If Val were doing everything to assist me, she would make this deal right. That is if there was interest in taking the morally appropriate action.

I received a letter from the Arizona Attorney General's Office which states:

"Regrettably, the Attorney General's office is prohibited from representing individual consumers. However, your complaint will remain on file to assist this office in identifying and tracking a possible pattern of fraudulent conduct that could warrant future action under Arizona consumer statutes."

My Review of Glendale Pontiac GMC:
I purchased a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix from Glendale Pontiac, the salesman Joel was nice but later on giving me the run around. The car had not mats and he said he would get me some, well never did. While signing paperwork I signed a paper that stated they charged $386.00 for an inspection on the car, well I took their word that the car was inspected, well 2 days later I popped the hood to show my mom the car and found there was no fluid in the car well I was very upset and bought the car back to have the problem fixed and I asked for my money back for the inspection since it was not done, they refused saying they took care of the problem. I told them it was an inconvienience for me to come back so they can fix a problem that I paid for and was not done. I bought a friend with me and he was there to help me out with this problem. After being there for an hour and talked to 3 managers, I finally got my money back from the owner who said he wasn't going to give me my money back because my friend was disrespectful to his managers. He said I was taking advantage of them, but really they were taking advantage of me because I am a woman. So ladies make sure you know what you are purchasing and inspect your cars before you leave the lot.By the way none of the managers could answer my question on what happened to the fluid in the car.
