My Review of Island Jeep Mitsubishi:
I recently purchased a "Certified" 2006 Jeep Liberty. 19700 miles. They inspect auto find everything good. Less than 4000 miles later brakes and rotors. $500.00 to cost. No response poor customer service and they drag you along. Certified means the brake pads are greater than 50%. Now it is being pursued in small claims court along with a complaint to NYS DMV for their violation to properly perform safety inspection.

My Review of Island Jeep Mitsubishi:
The dealership is full of liars. They will tell you anything,even advertise on the internet discounts and wont honor it. I had an ad they posted on Auto Trader for a 2005 Chevy Avalanche for $2000 less then the sales mes quote.

The sales manager at the 12th hour said he could not sell it to me for that price. He also would not honor a $500.00 coupon from ther own internet advertisement. He said, "I'll look into it"I spoke to the owner after 10 emails and phone calls as to the poor communication as to the 150,000 mile warranty for free and my $500 rebate. They brushed me off as "we'll look into it" and that was the end.

I filed a complaint against them to Auto trader.com and I see they are no longer there, either they were kicked off the site for lying or AutoTrader sanctioned them.
I wouldnt recommend them to anyone I know. No wonder there going out of business. I am not supprised that they were closed down due to the years of complaints against them from consumers to the parent company.

The sales manager is not creditable at all. Any deal that the sales staff write up is not honored nor approved by him. What he will do ,is at the 12th hour,when you arrive with your wife or the whole family is tell you, "I cant sell it to you for that low price",then he'll jack it up $2,000,take it or leave it. Well what choice do you hqve after you sold your old car and took a cab to the Island Jeep dealer to pick up your new car.

THERS MORE BUT BEST ADVISE IS STAY AWAY !!!!!!!

My Review of Island Jeep Mitsubishi:
I went to Island Jeep Eagle for routine service of my transmission fluid and filter. When I returned home I looked under the Jeep and found that only the fluid was changed and the filter was not serviced. My jeep has 200,000 miles and during other three other servicing's at other dealers it's very noticeable that the oil pan was fresh with a new gasket and has been wiped down. It was very easy to see this time that only the transmission oil lug was removed and the filter never serviced. I called and they said they would return my money, we'll after three calls because they never returned the money, I have now filed a billing issue with American Express due to service's not preformed.

This was my first and last to Island Jeep Eagle of Lindenhurst, NY they can not be trusted.
