Do not get your vehicle serviced at Lookout Ford. Every time I leave the service department it is merely a matter of time before I am taking my truck back and have a "NEW" issue with my vehicle. Drive to Wilmington...the price of fuel and precious time you invest will be cheaper than the insane bill that you will recieve from Lookout...oh and you will be back for another soon. I cannot prove it but I believe there is some dishonest service going on around there.

My husband and I went there to look at a truck. Test drove it, loved it, went in with the salesman to make a deal. We went back and forth with our numbers and finally our salesman came back with an agreed amount. We SHOOK hands and were very clear on the price when we did so. The salesman started the paper work and we were probably about 15 minutes or so from walking out with the vehicle. The salesman comes back and says there was a misunderstanding in price and there was no deal. Was it a coincidence that there was another guy there wanting to purchase the same truck for more money that our deal was no longer good? The GM assumed me that wasnt the case that the salesman misunderstood the price with his manager nd miscommunicated it with us. Either way we already made our deal with the salesman and it SHOULD have been honored, if it was a good business and they wanted to do right! Look out @ Lookout Ford!

Bought new car less than 2 months ago, MSRP over $49k. Bought car earlier than planned to take on 2 week vacation. Day before vacation, a/c condenser leaks, no air conditioning. Brought in day of vacation w/2500 miles on odometer, they were unable to obtain part for 4 days. Not their fault, however they offered nothing. No loaner, nary an apology for this MAJOR inconvenience. Forced to take old pickup truck on vacation, that was miserable as I needed to repair a cracked hose before departure. Lookout Ford offered to have us leave the car and it'd be repaired upon our return. I declined to leave our brand new car shuffling around their shop for 2 weeks. Upon returning from vacation, not only do they NOT have the part, he tells me it'd be a full week before I could bring it in for service, thereby completely rendering the car useless in 100* heat with no a/c. Still no offer of a loaner in the meantime. The car is now repaired in short order by our local dealer, CELLA FORD. They know how to take care of a customer, even though I didn't purchase the car from them, although I did buy my truck new from them years ago. I will be shopping for a new vehicle in the very near future and it will be a Ford from CELLA FORD in New Bern, NOT Outlook Ford. Absolutely terrible experience.

Paid for parts in advance, however over a month later parts were apparently not received, thus work to be performed was never accomplished. During this long waiting period I was consistantly told by a service advisor "next week", but next week never arrived. Have requested return of advance payment as no work was ever performed.
