My Review Of Nelson Mazda Nashville:
The sales staff were all very friendly without being overbearing. The Sales Manager came out to great me when I first arrived to shake my hand and introduce himself. At first it felt like an intimidation factor, but he seemed genuinely nice and concerned about meeting our needs and being there to serve and help not take advantage. Getting to take the car out for a test drive was a painless 5 min process of gathering information and then off we went. Our sales rep, John, was, very laid back, easy going and we had a pleasant conversation during the drive. He didn't try and "push" the car on us nor did he try and talk us into something else. He listened to our desires and made it feel like he wanted us to have the best experience as possible. After the test drive, my wife and I decided to see what the numbers looked like. John gathered some information and gave them to Kyle, the Sales Manager and it took them less than 10 min to get back with us on some "loose" figures. As my wife and I discussed them, we asked if we could have some private time, and they were more than happy to let us discuss among the two of us and weigh out the pros and cons. Kyle did come and check with us to see if we had questions, which I felt was a little pushy, but he quickly dismissed himself when we said we needed a little more time. When we decided, we called John back over, told him we wished to move forward with the deal, and they set off on getting the actual deal together. My wife had a trade-in, which she and Kyle went to assess and they gave us a fair trade amount for the car. Wasn't generous, but we didn't feel that it was unfair either. Within about 20 min, the finance guy (David) came over to get us and take us to his office to sign the paperwork. David was able to get my wife a better financing offer than we had even originally been told and a lower monthly payment than we had anticipated. The finance process took about 20-30 min and was very pleasant. All in all, we were probably at the dealership from the time we drove on in my wife's old car till we drove off with the new car in about 3 hours. To me that is quicker than most car deals I have done but wasn't exactly the fastest either. Granted they were busy and it was a Saturday. So I still feel like this experience was an excellent car buying experience and I would definitely recommend this dealership and the next time I am in the market for a new car, I would consider this dealership on my list of places to visit.
