Best experience purchasing a vehicle! - jondlock
I walked into Motorcars Honda looking specifically for a beautiful 08' Honda Ridgeline I had seen on Autotrader. The first person my brother and I were greeted by was Shaul "The Man" Janes. Shaul was super down to earth and understood my needs perfectly. We went outside to see the Ridgeline and the truck had mysteriously vanished from the lot. Apparently the truck went to auction that morning. Kind of bummed out, we went to go check out some more cars in the lot. 15 minutes later, Shaul came outside to talk more about the truck. Shaul explain my situation to Vinson Treharne and they decided to pull the truck from the auction. The whole time I was trying to tell them to just sell the car at the auction so they can make the sale, but Vinson refused my statement and said that he would rather gain a customer than sell the truck at auction. That meant a bunch to me, they both were willing to out of their way to help me out and get me in to my new truck. The next day I showed up to check out truck and there was already someone there willing to pay for the truck in cash. Shaul made it a point that I was the first person to see the truck that day. The whole time Shual treated me with respect and talked to me like I was a new face at a bar somewhere. The whole process of purchasing the truck was very relaxing and I was never forced to make any quick decisions. The next person I met with was Jim Waterwash who really took the time to help me finance my new truck. The last time I finance a car was with my girlfriend and that shook my credit score up. Jim told me the ways some car dealership work in their finance departs. There is a sloppy method out there called "Shot Gunning," in which the person who is trying to figure out how to finance your new car will send offers out to many different lenders. Jim knew where my credit score was at and only sent out offers to two lenders and I was accepted by both. Jim got me financed at a percentage rate that was less than my student loans! I am so happy with Motorcars Honda commitment to putting the customer first every step of the way. I will recommend to everyone that is currently shopping for a new or used vehicle. At the end of the day my brother even told Shaul that he was going to come see him first when looking for his new car. Thank you so much for everything Shual, Vinson, and Jim!

I wanted to stop & see what type of pre owned cars they had. We had a 97 Lincoln town car (which we bought at Whiteys) & I loved that car. Since we sold that car long ago I had been driving a 2002 Cadillac Deville. My husband & I had been talking about looking for a newer SUV type of car. We had looked at a few different ones & on the way home I pulled into MMG as it's now called to see what they had. Our sales person Hanna Nolan took her time & asked us what we were looking for, the purpose of a newer car, etc. They had 2 Lincoln MKX's on the lot, 1 black, 1 red both the same, although the red one was in use at that time. We test drove the black one. It rode good was nice inside & had all the bells & whistles. We made an appt to see the red one when it came back, black was not my car choice. Actually red wasn't either, since I have been driving a red Cadillac for 8 years. We drove it, liked it & bought it. Wasn't sure if they would take the Cadillac in on trade due to the age of it. Last time we looked at cars dealers wouldn't take anything over 7 years old. Hanna was very knowledgeable about all the bells & whistles & went over everything with us & hooked both our phones up too. Hanna has followed up with us to see how things were going & if we needed any help with anything else on the car. Yes it's been awhile since we have purchased a newer car, especially one with all the technology involved.

I arranged the price for my new 2017 Honda Accord online with Todd Muller. Todd was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process. He had a wonderful response time, which ultimately lead me to the doors of the this dealership, over other dealerships, that Saturday morning. When I entered, I was greeted warmly by Todd and saleman Gary Goughnour. Despite the fact that I had already arranged to purchase the car that morning and it was essentially a done deal, Gary took the time to show me all of the features of the car and go on a test drive. I wanted to see a certain color interior and exterior, which they did not have available, but Gary did everything in his power to try to find those colors on the lot. When we returned from the test drive I was also warmly greeted by Sales Manager Mike Pietrangelo, who also answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns, and who treated me with the utmost respect. I was most happy to find out that Mike is into rescuing and fostering dogs. As a result of the interactions with Todd, Gary, and Mike, I decided that we would purchase a second Honda Accord for my husband. Buying a new car tends to be a huge hassle and dealing with salesmen tends to be an even bigger hassle. I have very little patience for the car buying experience and am often hard to please. I must say that I had an absolutely wonderful time that Saturday morning. These 3 gentlemen were fantastic to work with, and I would highly recommend anyone interested in buying a car to contact them. We pick up our new cars on tomorrow, and we couldn't be anymore excited to walk into the dealership again! Thank you Todd, Gary, and Mike for being truly stand-up individuals! The entire experience was great. The entire time it felt like the approach was win/win. Either both of us win in the deal or their was no deal. Vania Hogben was especially helpful in the process. I was actually on my way, to buy a similar car, at the similar price, at another dealer. Then Vania called indicated they work out a deal in all our interests. Because I enjoyed working with her and felt she wanted the best outcome for all parties, I turned the car around and went with her. People want to work with real individuals with integrity and Vania shows this naturally.

Poor customer service & follow-up from a pertinent employee - Dontscrewwithme
Mark Martina was notified in early March of this year that a warranty purchased from Park Honda needs to be transferred to the new owner of the vehicle. This dealership claimed the 3 year warranty purchased in April of 2014 would cover the vehicle even if said vehicle were sold. I am the current owner of the vehicle. Mark has been in contact with me several times since March and has yet to assure me that I indeed have a warranty. He has never initiated communication, but continues to stall when pressed for details about the warranty. Even the original purchaser of the car warranty has intervened to seek information from Mark, and has received no follow up despite Mark's claims that he would be in touch in a day or two. This man is involved in customers final car purchases. Let me warn you Mark will be quick to say what he believes you want to hear, but lacks integrity. If he worked for me, I'd fire him in a heartbeat!

I have less then 9000 miles on it. Have had it not start twice in the last month. Service personnel did a factory recommend update. No start second time. They took auto in right away and checked and put in a new battery, no charge to me. They were great!! I have bought several vehicles over the last 50 years and can say I have never been treated with more respect, caring and compassion then your service people showed me, you have a true Angle working for you! Purchased CRV from Jack Matia. Had oil changed and tires rotated. Service personnel did not reset tire pressure sensing unit. Low pressure tire light came on after a couple of miles. This is second time it happened. Carelessness.

I have purchased my last 5 cars from this dealership. We had a small mix-up with the paper work this last go around and the girls in the office were so quick to get it fix and very friendly with a positive attitude. I could not even be upset because they were so quick and on top of what needed to be fixed. My sales person Roy was so helpful and not pushy at all. I've also dealt with their service department and they are so pleasant. I usually deal with Ray and DJ both whom have always treated me very well and are both so helpful. I will continue to buy all my cars from this dealership. I love going in for my service appointments and watching the employee's interact with each other and smile to everyone that walks past. Also the donuts and snazzy coffee machine helps too. I highly encourage anyone looking for a vehicle to check Victory Honda out.

Did very costly service timing belt replacement ($1400). Did not (or could not) provide the worn parts when I asked for them. This is a clear violation of Ohio State law - pursuing a formal complaint with the Ohio Attorney General. The dealer I bought the car said they talked to Victory Service Mgr and Victory said the belt was Ok. Victory mgr called them a liar. Victory service was rude. Intrinsically dishonest. Operate blatantly outside the law.
