I called Southfork RAM broken and disheartened but the dealership, it's staff, management and owner were the most genuine and accommodating group of teammates. I can say this since I spoke, or went, to every other dealership in the greater Houston area. I almost gave up getting a RAM 1500 sport due to the awful impression of this brands dealer representation and seemingly dishonest business practices. That changed after my 67 mile trip, worth every mile...btw, out to Pearland.
I got what I wanted plus. I can't go into great detail but I will say that they made the price beyond fair and proved it (seriously), provided what they promised and hand delivered to my house where paperwork was finished. The dealership owner, delivered the vehicle since I live in an adjacent area, but who does that!? Southfork's owner, that's who.
I can't promise the owner will deliver your vehicle but even so, the experience will still impress you beyond expectations, as far as I believe.
I now know what my grandfather meant by "the good old days of business".

WORST POST PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER - vellison123
I purchased a used Mercedes from the dealership here Thanks giving weekend. We looked for a huge name dealer for a reason. I was expecting to receive the upmost honest fair used car buying experience here. I was very clear ( have it in email) in asking the sales dealer if there was anything mechanically wrong I was advised there were nothing wrong with the car just cosmetic. There was also a tail light error on the car. When the salesman was asked he only advised that the car needed to be reset. After speaking with a very, rude and obnoxious sales man DENNIS FOLEY he responded “you bought your car 5 mths ago ...(Anyone who can count knows it’s been 3 1/2) what do you expect. He was uninterested in letting me speak at all. He was almost angry I was telling him about an obvious pr-existing issue. Next I spoke with a Steve Wolf - GM who I’d thought be concerned about selling of a lemon but he was also not interested in anything I had to say. Speaking over me stating the words AS IS AS AIS….. Exclaiming it is an AS IS vehicle "should I mail you what you signed? I explained I did not know about this until I took it in for a oil change at the MERCEDES DEALERSHIP- In a degrading way asked me why did I buy the vehicle , asking me why’d I wait. I tried explaining to him again that I was unaware of the oil leak and the tail light malfunction due to the fact that it was noticed for the regular service maintenance visit. This was how I knew. I explained to him I was told there were no leaks on the car and nothing mechanically was wrong. Bottom line communication with this dealership was dishonest. If I ask you about any oil leaks and mechanical issues this should be upfront. Instead it was hidden, tail light malfunction and an oil leak. They covered this up pretty well. Now we are stuck 3 mths later with a 3k repair costs while these dishonest people believe they can get away with it. I bought this 2006 car with only 61k miles. They clearly knew this was a lemon, Instead of being honest they would rather make a quick $$. Any smart business man would understand it takes just 1 person to burn to loose thousands in business, money and reputation. I expected better …… The GM STEVE WOLF is standing by " AS IS - however if I asked you is there anything mechanically wrong with the vehicle and if there are any leaks we are aware of and if I point out why is there an error on the tail light - the responses should've been honest. - Plain and simple these responses were not.

This is the third car purchased at the Autonation dealership in my family in the last 3 months. Toby, the car dealership employee was helpful in obtaining the cars. I and the other members of my family were very pleased with the service provided by our car salesman, he always kept us up to date as we waited for paperwork as to what was going on with every step. I would definitely recommend him to any of my family and friends that were in the market for a new or used car. The whole process from walking in until driving out with my car was the best experience I have had in buying a car. I also would like to say how many times many employees there asked if I was being helped or if I needed anything. The finance personal for my car as well as my daughter's car were extremely pleasant and efficient with the paperwork, which we all know can be tedious at times, was done quickly and with a smile.
Do not use Gene as your salesman - tammierie
My husband and I were looking for a Jeep for my daughter. He found one at Finnegan and spoke with Gene about it. We went up there one evening basically knowing we wanted that Jeep if we could get it for the price we wanted. Gene DOESN'T listen. He never once asked what names we wanted on the title of the car - just assumed my husband. He basically ignored me and seemed put out when he did something wrong and we hard to correct him. He needs to listen more. He continually kept grabbing his crotch which is truly disrespectful. At delivery, he did not go over any of the features of the Jeep.
This isn't the first vehicle we bought there, but if salesmen are like Gene it might be the last.

I was in a rollover so recovering and needed some help. Salesman lied about everything. Truck was said to be owned by 1 owner, older couple who did not like it and brought it back at 3126 miles and traded it in. Spotless he said. So they knew we were coming at night, parked under trees, no lights, and we di not see all the dings and that grille was broken and super glued. Then we find customer rental agreements in the glove box showing it was rented out at 2439 miles, when the sales man said the older 1 owner couple had it. It was used as a rental by Gillman. WE live 2 hours away. They sent us an email, no phone calls saying bring it in and leave it they will repairs dents, that is all. The truck had over 4300 miles on it but they had the odometer turned off so we could not see they lied about that too. BEWARE nothing but liars and con men at this dealership, MONEY is their key, your money

Two things a dealership must do right: sales and service. These guys lied during and after the sale and then refuse to service under warranty issues. I was tricked into purchasing a vehicle I did not want via deceptive claims to get a non-refundable deposit. Lied to about work to correct the issues with the vehicle before taking it home. Have since returned numerous times for warranty repairs they now refuse to fix.

Just make sure if you purchase a used vehicle you have them service it before taking possession. I had to bring my last car back for an oil change, no big deal. I highly recommend my salesman Anthony Berry, a very polite and knowledgeable young man, and Alton Williams the finance manager got me the best possible deal.

I dropped off my truck there with an airbag light last week, April 6, 2017, that would stay on. I just had my Dodge Ram Serviced two months prior here at AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Katy with a recall on the airbag system which they did fix free of charge due to the recall. I dealt with a Jesus who was really rude and acted like he could care less about my truck and situation, very poor customer service here. After they inspected my truck and after i paid $104 for them to do the diagnostics, they told me that the air bag light was on due to a bad connection somewhere in the Truck. Bottom line, they would not cover the charge to fix the light, even after they had just serviced the air bag issue 2 months prior, seems like it was all related in my opinion, nevertheless they wanted to charge me an additional $300 to fix the issue. Ram Care also flat out refused to fix the simple issue, that is another poor review coming up on their end. Dodge should cover all air bag issues by the 100 mile warranty but they don't. So i declined for them to fix it and took my truck to my local mechanic and all he had to do was reset the air bag light at not cost, the dealership want to charge me $400 just to reset the light which only took my mechanic 2 minutes to do, wow what a rip off AutoNation Ram Katy is. All they had to do was reset the light, which to me wasn't done when the serviced it 2 months ago because the light came on right after that service. Heck i even sent an email to the general manager Roy Roach and never got a reply. Never again will i take my truck there or refer anyone there, they will rip you off. Oh and if you are local and need dodge truck repair or any truck repair contact Steve Prazak and Prazak Performance in Fairchilds, Texas just 25 minutes from Katy. Sorry for the poor grammar.

I brought my car in for transmission work. After 3wks and multiple phone calls I finally was told I needed a new transmission. They cut me a deal on labor from $105-$95. Bad part is I should have let them charge me $105. They charged me 10hrs labor for a job that everyone else in the industry charges 8hrs or less. $1400 for the transmission which they marked up over $600. Wow!! Finally after 6wks I got my car back and they had the nerve to ask if I wanted them to do some other work. If your vehicle is not in for warranty work, you better get pricing up front and do a little research before you say O.K. First and Last time I use them. Almost forgot, the core price they quoted was not the truth either.

By far the worst experience ever! They sold me a truck and a month later called and said we had a better deal we needed to come in and discuss it and they asked for money a month and we said uh no! And they took the keys to our new truck! Who does that?! Any other company with any sense outta respect woulda sAid I'm sorry this was our mistKe so we will make it right and we will cover the mess up and make this right. But they took the new truck and kept our two trade ins. And had someone drive us home! Sorry company. Sorry service. Sorry business! Will never ever deal with them again! They are so shady and betrays customers and lies to you constantly! And doesn't keep you involved they do every thing so messed up and backwards! But with that being said atzenhoffer Chevy in Victoria tx heard about the bs port lavaca put us through and said they can help us get into something and will make sure that never happens again! And they got us in a brand new vehicle for an amazing amazing amazing price! Amazing service! Incredible people! Upfront! Honest! Helpful! Understanding! And took very good care of us! But I'm sure by now they are used to cleaning up after the port lavaca dealers! It's dealerships like port lavaca that give car salespersonnel and car dealerships a bad rep! But if you go to atzenhoffer they will change your whole perspective on car dealerships and that's a promise!
