Paul and his crew went out of his way to help.us - Max L and Suzanne Hughes
We had a crazy problem of trunk popping up, not staying locked, had to tie down with rope and drive to Sealy in the rain from Houston. They were so patient and recognized our frustration when it didn't do what it had done earlier, but right before we left, Paul tried one last time and boom, trunk popped up. They analyzed and fixed for us and we're so grateful.
Very helpful Salesman - Maria10
We have bought several vehicles for our fleet from Ron Carter through Ray Hewitt. He always goes above and beyond. He finds what we need, gets us competitive prices and always has all of the paperwork prepared for the purchase. This makes for very smooth, quick transactions. Ray helps with everything from the first phone call to after the purchase is complete.

WORST POST PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER - vellison123
I purchased a used Mercedes from the dealership here Thanks giving weekend. We looked for a huge name dealer for a reason. I was expecting to receive the upmost honest fair used car buying experience here. I was very clear ( have it in email) in asking the sales dealer if there was anything mechanically wrong I was advised there were nothing wrong with the car just cosmetic. There was also a tail light error on the car. When the salesman was asked he only advised that the car needed to be reset. After speaking with a very, rude and obnoxious sales man DENNIS FOLEY he responded “you bought your car 5 mths ago ...(Anyone who can count knows it’s been 3 1/2) what do you expect. He was uninterested in letting me speak at all. He was almost angry I was telling him about an obvious pr-existing issue. Next I spoke with a Steve Wolf - GM who I’d thought be concerned about selling of a lemon but he was also not interested in anything I had to say. Speaking over me stating the words AS IS AS AIS….. Exclaiming it is an AS IS vehicle "should I mail you what you signed? I explained I did not know about this until I took it in for a oil change at the MERCEDES DEALERSHIP- In a degrading way asked me why did I buy the vehicle , asking me why’d I wait. I tried explaining to him again that I was unaware of the oil leak and the tail light malfunction due to the fact that it was noticed for the regular service maintenance visit. This was how I knew. I explained to him I was told there were no leaks on the car and nothing mechanically was wrong. Bottom line communication with this dealership was dishonest. If I ask you about any oil leaks and mechanical issues this should be upfront. Instead it was hidden, tail light malfunction and an oil leak. They covered this up pretty well. Now we are stuck 3 mths later with a 3k repair costs while these dishonest people believe they can get away with it. I bought this 2006 car with only 61k miles. They clearly knew this was a lemon, Instead of being honest they would rather make a quick $$. Any smart business man would understand it takes just 1 person to burn to loose thousands in business, money and reputation. I expected better …… The GM STEVE WOLF is standing by " AS IS - however if I asked you is there anything mechanically wrong with the vehicle and if there are any leaks we are aware of and if I point out why is there an error on the tail light - the responses should've been honest. - Plain and simple these responses were not.

Best car purchase experience 02/06/2017 - A-Hadley
My husband and I purchased a 2016 Jeep Compass from Bayshore CJDR Monday and the experience was WONDERFUL!! Our salesperson JC Carter was so professional, friendly, and just down-right excellent customer service skills. The finance part of the process was just as good as the sale. Barry Dovey was patient, explained all paperwork, and showed great customer service. James Marion is the epitome of customer service !!! I look forward to working with all of them again in the future. Thanks for all of your help !!
Oil change - Customer service is key
I have been coming by here since I bought my vehicle for oil changes. The first year 2011 service was awesome after that everything went down hill. Every time I come in for an oil change there is a 30-60min wait to check your vehicle in even when there's hardly any customers. They NEVER reset your screen for your vehicle not put an sticker to let you know when your next oil change is due. The employees stand around and tell you to wait in line as they sit at there desk and have side conversations. I feel sorry for the one or two people who actually do there job b/c their colleagues are not pulling there weight. Today I came in for an oil change and they no longer use the oil that is needed to change for my vehicle the cost went from $39 to $79 for an oil change took them an hour to tell me that. I will NEVER buy or use Gilman services ever again. A waist of time, not worth it!
Liars and Thieves - TSB8C
Two things a dealership must do right: sales and service. These guys lied during and after the sale and then refuse to service under warranty issues. I was tricked into purchasing a vehicle I did not want via deceptive claims to get a non-refundable deposit. Lied to about work to correct the issues with the vehicle before taking it home. Have since returned numerous times for warranty repairs they now refuse to fix.
Awful, lazy, inconsiderate - Viakat5
Don't use them unless you don't care about getting your car back. I bought my Jeep from them so when I had an accident I though sure why not use them. It took them 3 weeks longer than allotted to get my car back to me. They felt bad and gave me a free oil change so of course I'm going to come back to use that instead of spending $80 some where else. Was told they would have me out before 8, waited until 9 to ask why it was taking so long and they blamed it on software updates... for my oil change. Just don't.
If you don't ask you won't receive - Lillian Lang
I have purchased 3 cars from this dealership and I am very satisfied with the salesman and the service.
Just make sure if you purchase a used vehicle you have them service it before taking possession. I had to bring my last car back for an oil change, no big deal. I highly recommend my salesman Anthony Berry, a very polite and knowledgeable young man, and Alton Williams the finance manager got me the best possible deal.
HORRIBLE AWFUL LIARS - mexicangohome

HORRIBLE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and they put you on HOLD FOREVER
Worse dealer on planet earth - PlanetTaneo
Unfortunately, there is no way to give "negative" stars. If possible, I would.
First, I found a price for a vehicle on the website that I really wanted. Called and talked with Eric, and told him I would come out in the evening to look at it. The vehicle was listed as "brand new". Once I arrived and met with Eric, he said that the vehicle was not here, that a manager had taken it home for the day. Even though it was not here (per Eric at that time), since I knew that was the one I wanted, I told him no need to take a test drive, just show me another vehicle on the lot that has the same features to look into. At that point, I wanted him to start running the numbers to get financing in process, as I didn't want to be there all night.
Miraculously, the vehicle was found, but the pricing was given and it was higher than the advertised price on the internet. Why post a sale price and not honor it? Well, it is because it has been "sold" to the service department to be used there, and then "sold" back to sales to sell me. The rebates that would come with a new model do not apply, since it is NOT technically a new vehicle.
After going back and forth, a deal was made and I drove out of the dealership with my dream vehicle. For (2) weeks exactly, I drove around and showed all of my friends and family about all of the cool features that this truck has.
Then, (14) days after making the purchase and signing the contract, I was called and asked to come into the dealership to discuss some paperwork. It was then told to me that after all, the bank that I signed the contract with decided that they are not going to honor it. I had to either give it back and drive home in my previous vehicle that I traded in, or sign a NEW contract with a massive increase on interest rate. YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT. THE CONTRACT I SIGNED WAS NOT BEING HONORED BY THE FINANCE COMPANY AND DEALERSHIP AFTER (14) DAYS. Nothing changed in my credit, and nothing was shown to be inaccurate in my application. I have NEVER had a legal document that I signed given back to me and told that the SELLER is not going to honor it. If I just showed up after 2 weeks and said I do not like the terms and want to change it, they would laugh me out the door. I had to either surrender the vehicle IMMEDIATELY or pay MORE money.
I never thought signing a legally binding contract can just be denied, after 2 weeks, with no lies or wrong information listed.
The only recourse will be to let as many people as I can all over the world know that in Texas, a vehicle contract with AutoNation means NOTHING. There are NO words to describe the feeling that a contract means nothing. There is NO language in the contract stating that it is waiting for approval, but this dealership makes deals, signs contracts between customers and finance companies, without getting approvals. I thought problems like this might come from a used car dealership that could be shady, but not the dealer on a NEW vehicle. I have been lied to at every point of the process of buying a NEW vehicle. Wrong price listed, NOT new as stated, contract cancelled after (2) weeks, and either sign a NEW contract with higher terms, or take back your previously paid off trade in and act like the last (2) weeks never happened.
UPDATE: After contacting the general manager of the facility, they changed my contract again back to the original contract. I do not know how this happened in the first place, but the general manager, Nick, was beyond helpful and fixed the issue. I am confident that the financing individuals did what they did to me without his knowledge.
At the end of the day, my issued were resolved. Unfortunately, this should have never happened the way it did. Hopefully, they have taken the steps necessary to make sure moving forward this does not happen again to anyone else.
Terrible Service - jvv357
I brought my car in for transmission work. After 3wks and multiple phone calls I finally was told I needed a new transmission. They cut me a deal on labor from $105-$95. Bad part is I should have let them charge me $105. They charged me 10hrs labor for a job that everyone else in the industry charges 8hrs or less. $1400 for the transmission which they marked up over $600. Wow!! Finally after 6wks I got my car back and they had the nerve to ask if I wanted them to do some other work. If your vehicle is not in for warranty work, you better get pricing up front and do a little research before you say O.K. First and Last time I use them. Almost forgot, the core price they quoted was not the truth either.
WORST PLACE EVER - Summer&Justin
By far the worst experience ever! They sold me a truck and a month later called and said we had a better deal we needed to come in and discuss it and they asked for money a month and we said uh no! And they took the keys to our new truck! Who does that?! Any other company with any sense outta respect woulda sAid I'm sorry this was our mistKe so we will make it right and we will cover the mess up and make this right. But they took the new truck and kept our two trade ins. And had someone drive us home! Sorry company. Sorry service. Sorry business! Will never ever deal with them again! They are so shady and betrays customers and lies to you constantly! And doesn't keep you involved they do every thing so messed up and backwards! But with that being said atzenhoffer Chevy in Victoria tx heard about the bs port lavaca put us through and said they can help us get into something and will make sure that never happens again! And they got us in a brand new vehicle for an amazing amazing amazing price! Amazing service! Incredible people! Upfront! Honest! Helpful! Understanding! And took very good care of us! But I'm sure by now they are used to cleaning up after the port lavaca dealers! It's dealerships like port lavaca that give car salespersonnel and car dealerships a bad rep! But if you go to atzenhoffer they will change your whole perspective on car dealerships and that's a promise!
Do not buy from this dealership! Warning stay away!!!!!! - JeffCarlile76
I purchased a used 2015 Dodge Rebel Ram a few weeks ago. Upon inspecting the truck everything was good. After doing all the paperwork I was given one key to the truck. I asked where the other key was and was told by Benny Blanco the sales agent that I would be getting the other key in a day or two. After learning that I was lied to and that I was not going to be getting a second key I stormed into the dealership demanding the key that I was promised. I was then directed to Brett Campbell (sales manager) another liar. I was loud with my frustration toward Brett of being lied to. After I told Brett what I paid for the truck he informed me that I would get a refund for the cost of the missing key. He informed Benny to try and get the key first from the previous owner and if they could not reach out to the owner to get the key they would give me a refund so I can get another key programmed. I told them great now we are talking the same language. I said thanks I will see you in a couple of weeks. Two weeks has passed now I am being told by Brett and Benny that I was never told that I would get a refund. They are both liars - don't believe anything anyone says at Texan Dodge. Never believe a car salesman. Lesson learned - I will never do business with this dealership again - I will also tell everyone I know to stay away from Texan Dodge in Humble, TX.
