We didn't have a specific car manufacturer in mind, so visited dealers for various brands. I didn't expect it to be pleasant, and kind of thought all dealers were roughly the same atmosphere. I was wrong on both counts. Some dealers were pushy and slow; others were friendly, helpful, and quick.
Hempstead Ford wasn't the only place with salespeople we liked, but they achieved the combination of a really intriguing car, a great price, and a really comfortable process and environment. We were very happy to deal with them.

I want to start by saying that when you walk into Schultz Ford in Nanuet it is like walking into your family home. The atmosphere is kind, warm, caring, fun and truly genuine hearted people. Two years ago Kyle and Matt put me into a Ford Escape and i couldn't be happier with the car or service. Soon after that they put my husband into a Ford Fiesta and that also was great. I told them I would be back in about 2 years with my other children. I returned this past week with my son to be met by the same sales people who first took care of me. I was amazed they had remembered me (maybe I'm hard to forget!) My experience was even better this time with Kyle and Kevin, Aaron and Matt helping out. The whole process went smoothly and took only a short time. My son is thrilled with his 2017 Ford Fusion SE. In another couple of months i will return with my daughter back to a place that i consider "family". I am truly blessed to do business with such wonderful people. And i don't want to forget Joe- the service manager- also outstanding! We are an entire Ford family of cars!

After talking on the phone with the kind and considerate Adriana, I took train from Manhattan to Summit, NJ to Salerno Duane Ford on the busy Memorial Day weekend Saturday to look at 2017 Explorers. Pete showed me the entire line-up, explained the differences and costs without any pressure. We looked at multiple pricing options on a couple different Explorers and we went for a spin. Dealt with GEICO on the spot (got insurance), made the lease happen and I DROVE back to Manhattan.
Pete even agreed to bring the plates into the city for me (once in) so I didn't have to travel back to Summit.
SD is a family business and not a boiler-room, so comfortable atmosphere.

Izzy was my salesman and was he ever amazing. He listened to me and even suggested that I take the car overnight to see how I like driving it as I was going from an Escape to a Fusion...that was the selling
point. The best was Izzy came in on his day off to see how I liked the car and help me purchase it. I told him I would come back when he was here but he wouldn't hear of it. I originally visited the dealership to enquire about leasing a 2016 Ford Edge. Jesse greeted me, and was very helpful from the start. Numbers for the lease ended up being too high, so instead I opted to take a look at some newer Used Vehicles they had in stock. Settled on the 2014 used Lincoln MKS because it was in excellent condition, and fairly priced, while still being under the manufacturers warranty. We worked back and forth on getting the numbers to work for my trade-in and financing, and I drove home with my "new" used car the same day [Feb 4, 2017]. Since then, Jesse has also been helpful in making sure the loan payoff on my trade-in was received timely by the bank. Overall, a very satisfying experience.
However, I am now having difficulty in resolving my cancellation of optional Key Replacement Insurance. I should have received a credit to my loan account for the amount of the premium [$200], but it is taking an inordinate amount of time to process [today is 04/18/17]. Needless to say, many calls to the Finance Mgr, leaving messages, have gone unreturned. My patience is wearing thin over what should be a minor item for the Dealership to resolve, and the longer it takes, the lower my rating will go.
Fortunately, this issue has now been resolved to my complete satisfaction!

I purchased a Lincoln MKX last year. My salesmen was Scott Lyons. He told me he was my salesmen for life and he has been. He has helped me numerous times. Not so much with my MKX but with a Navigator I purchased in 06. I bring both vehicles in there for service and wait for them, never longer that expected. They always wash the car which is a nice treat. I have an extended warranty on the Navigator and the service department, (Heather) was instrumental in getting items repaired there were previously denied by the warranty company. I know I'll go back to see Scott when I'm ready for a new car. It's always a pleasure to see Heather in service department because I know she will look after my interest.
