F350 not fixed - One Unhappy Customer
Took a 2015 F350 in for LOW DEF fluid light on. Even though tank was full. All they did was re-flash the ECU hoping the light would go off. Very Poor communication. We spoke to the service advisor and told them we believed there to be something wrong with the actual sensor and to check it. Actually put your eyes on it! They took $250.00 to re-flash the ECU and $25.00 in shop fees?? Really does a floor mat and seat protector cost that? A total of $280.00 down the drain. They didn't drive the truck far enough to realize the light would just come back on shortly after, work order states they took it 15 miles. It's worth the drive to Bozard Ford in St. Augustine to fix your vehicle right the first time.
Deceptive Liars - Tobusy4
Well I wish I would have looked at some reviews before deciding to waste my time going here! This ford dealer is Misleading and Deceptive. I contacted them regarding an 2015 Lincoln MKC they were advertising as it was the color I wanted. They were very eager to make a sale. I offered them an all cash out the door price that was a very fair for a base vehicle in excellent condition with 22K+ miles and absolutely NO OPTIONS whatsoever, derived from the research I did on edmunds appraisal, etc. Reginald, the sales rep wrote me back with his approval and wanted me to come in. I stated I lived far away and did not want to come in unless we had agreed on the price. He replied that my offer was close enough that he would see it happening and to come in and meet with the manager to complete the sale. I drove more than 2 hours one way to the dealership to find the car they were selling was a loaner car for the past 2 years given to customers who left their vehicles for repairs and it had numerous scratches, rock chips, and even a dent on the outside and the inside and was by no means in excellent condition, but average vehicle about a 7.6 out of 10. I litterally had to request the car be washed as it was dirty with stains, and bird droppings which did an excellent job hiding some of the blemishes. The car itself felt and drove fine and seemed to have no mechanical issues just cosmetics and worn tires. When we sat down to do the paperwork, Pat Candelora the manager came over and immediately boosted the price by $3500. I told him the sales rep Reginald already accepted my previous offer, I had to search but found and showed him the email. Pat just said the "sales people would like to sell the car lower but they don't know what the real retail numbers are" as an excuse. I told him the car was worth far less in the condition than it was in and gave an offer where it should be of $1000 less, if anything not $3500 more as it needs cosmetic reconditioning and new tires very soon. Pat insisted full retail price for a top condition vehicle and did not care that his sales rep lied to get you in the door. These guys are an unprofessional and Dishonest dealership and because of them I spent unnecessary cash on a carfax, full tank of gas, and also spent the whole day driving to Ocala and back home. They should of just told me the real over inflated price right off the bat and saved me from wasting a day instead of lying. DO NOT BOTHER HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT! Writing this review so others can be warned as I wish I read something like this first.
Hustled & conned, Buyer Bewear - Sanlm
I am a 71 year old woman who went in on Nov 1, 2016 for an oil change on my 2011 MKT with 62,000 miles on it & walked out with a new 2016 MKT which I didn't need or want. All I did was ask what my 2011 was worth & I was manipulated into a new car. I wasn't able to contact my husband or family because they told me can't you make your own decision? The car wasn't even on the lot & they sent me home with a loaner so I would have to return the next day. But they had me sign all the papers before I left. Naturally I felt intimidated & confused after spending 4 hours in the dealership. I was tired & would sign anything to just get out of there., Buyer beware & don't go alone!! Unethical sales tactics!!
Deceptive Practices, NEW CARS Mirepresented! FAILED DEALER - georoberts556
Island MISRERESENTED their NEW CAR that I took delivery of.
ISLAND LINCOLN is most reprehensible, dishonest, crooked dealership
I have ever seen.
STAY AWAY from these people.
A TRULY DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE THAT TRULY RUINED a new car experience.
They MISREPRESENTED THE CAR with their ISLAND BENEFIT PACKAGE
that was never applied, even though their ADD-ON sticker says "VEHICLE AS EQUIPPED".
The car left their lot with the ADDN sticker applied, yet, NONE of the items
were on the car.
When confronting the dealer GM Cavenaugh, he offered no corrective action what so ever.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, STEER CLEAR, or You will be deceived and ripped off like I WAS
Avoid this place! Honest Review - Rob23fl
This is a honest review, please avoid these crooks! I had an issue with my battery terminal and my vehicle was not starting. I dropped my vehicle off and I was contacted by Philp who was rude and short on the phone. Basically said he would get to it when they have time? Philp called me back a day later stating it was my battery and the terminal wiring. Little did Philp know is that I replaced my battery two days ago, brand new battery. Yet he insisted that I needed a new battery. He did back pedal and said well it's your wiring and it would cost around $3 to rerun. Fair enough. Three days later I picked my vehicle up and was charged $350 for the wiring!!! I was excepting to pay the $129 diagnostic fee and $3 for the wiring but they overcharged me and wanted to push a new battery on me! I promise these guys are crooks, please take your vehicle somewhere else. I use to be a loyal customer for 8 plus years and referred many of my friends and family to Brian Gruney but this place went downhill since he left!!
Horrible Service - herman1955
Stay away from Brian Gurney. Big Liar!!! They misdiagnosed my car and wanted me to pay $550.00 and drive away with the same problem. I returned and they refunded me after looking over the car again. I went to drive away for the second time now and notice this time my hood would not close and I told Brian and he tried to blame me for it being that way all along just after he had told me that they would never work on my car again. How rude can you get. I told him ok and I would report them. He said wait I need to get my boss and he did. He tried to tell the boss that lie about he thinks the hood was out of line all along. He did not write it down or ask me about it. They tried to fix it two days later but it's still out of alignment. This is awful. Stay away from these guys especially Brian. Big Liar!!!
car was advertised as having satalitte radio. Was told I... - mark2374
car was advertised as having satalitte radio. Was told I needed to subscribe to it. Fine, but I don't see that option anywhere and when I call the dealer, i'm told he will get back to me. 2 weeks later, I'm still waiting. received only one key. when I called to ask if another was available, was told he will get back to me...still waiting.
