My husband and I went in to look at a Lexus. We just came from the Mercedes dealership where we were treated very well. My husband's credit score was great, he had a solid job and was making regular payments on his previous vehicle. Well, all that didn't matter because we are African American and my husband was told that he couldn't get a Lexus because his student loans were in deferment. It didn't take us too long to figure out why we were rejected for a car and a few days later got the same car from another dealership with no problems.
Deceitful and failure to give full disclosure - Kithog
We purchased a Certified 2015 GX460 from Bell Lexus, trading in a vehicle with Illinois plates. We wanted our Illinois plates transferred over to our newly purchased Lexus. Bell Lexus said we should purchase Arizona plates instead as this was easier for Bell Lexus regarding paperwork etc. We have a bundled State Farm insurance plan with three other vehicles in Illinois. We later received a plate suspension notice from the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicle. They said our newly purchased Lexus needed to be insured with an Arizona insurance company and not an Illinois insurance company. We returned to Bell Lexus and asked why they insisted that we purchase Arizona plates and explained the dilemma to them. They refused to cover the charges associated with our plate problem and said we should have known that the car needed to be insured with an Arizona insurance company. We will never purchase a vehicle from them again as they should have informed us of this fact. How would we know this information???

I have just purchase a 2017 Rx350 FSPORT from Lexus Of Chandler. I didn't need to shop around, I service 2 Rx350's there. The service manger Jim Deboy is the main reason for the first time in my life I didn't shop around before I bought. The buyer experience was a pleasure and even the haggling was a give and take. Everyone through the whole process was a pleasure to work with. Beautiful human beings top to bottom at the dealership. You want excellent service. The main man, service manager Jim Deboy you won't find a better manager or human being in Arizona or from NY where we moved from. For 46 yrs I have been buying new cars and truthfully this was a long experience for the day and the most pleasurable of all my buying experiences. I said it before I bought I don't need nor want to go anywhere else because of Jim Deboy and I'll say it after the experience. No better place in Arizona and NY, no better people or service. When a problem pops up which is part of owning a car. Jim always handles it and resolves it in the end and that's the 100% truth.
