2016 Terrain inside light problem - Berti B
I got this car in Feb and was so excited to try GMC since I had been a Honda owner for 30 years. I just didn't like the Honda look so I took a chance . Within 90 days I began to notice the dash lights not always staying on. Them the lights on the consul began to not work, then the lights on the radio & camera stopped working. This wasn't everyday, just different times. I called to complain & was told to look at the dim switch which I probably turned down. That was NOT the problem. It continued to happen & when I had to drive in the dark over 6 miles on the freeway because all the lights when out at the same time it was xxxx scary! I couldn't see how fast I was going so I stayed in the slow lane & followed the car in front of me! Now I felt it was a safety issue so I called service again & made an appointment to drop the car off. 6 hours later when I stopped by to see if it was almost ready they had NOT even looked at my car! I was so upset! Had to take it back again & they couldn't seem to find the answer. Yet no one seems to think it's an issue so I continue to have a brand new car without interior lights that I think makes driving this car a safety issue. It's on a lease which now I know for sure I will not buy or continue to lease this car when the lease is up. I actually had to take my car in for an oil change and one of the service said to me " aren't you the lady with the light problem?' when I said yes he asked " are you still pissed about the lights"?? Really...? Nice way to be greeted! I have even left messages with GMC Corp. without a reply! Anyone have some advise???

I used to work at this dealership in the service department, and it is simply horrible! Regarding the courtesy car wash, your car will only be rinsed with water, no soap or anything at all. Porters/lot attendants are the ones that wash cars, drive them up, and park them, etc. Beware, I have witnessed them stealing change from countless cars since people normally place all their change in the smoking cup, or the slot near the cigarette outlet. They will also burn out in your cars, SUVs, and trucks! The service writers will try their best to rip you off, even to the extent of lying that there are problems with your car when there isn't to earn their monthly bonuses. I once saw one of the mechanics fighting with the service manager, Bon Gotuaco, who is a huge ass by the way, that he refused to fix a car because there were no problems with it, but Bon insisted that the car be "fixed" so that the service department could get money from the customer. The mechanic was suspended for not fixing the car, even though there were no problems with it. This place is horrible, steer clear! The employees here are very shady!
