Super Dealership, Super Salesman and Super Deal - jb476x
I was in the market for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L Plus and had been searching several Dodge, Chrysler Jeep Websites using True Car buying service which was highly recommended by my credit union. I talked with several salespersons via email and on the phone about potential cars they had in stock. Several dealers had cars that were close to what I was looking for, but I just couldn't find that special one until, through True Car, I found Ourisman of Clarksville and Mitch Stainback. They had the car I wanted and Mitch gave me a great price. I had two cars to trade and so my wife and I went in to talk with Mitch about what Ourisman could offer me for my trade-in's and how this would effect the bottom line price including tax, tags and freight for my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Believe me, I feel that Mitch more than gave us a fair price our trade-ins and one great bottom line price on our new car. My wife and I were so impressed with Mitch's straight forward honesty and integrity. I would highly recommend to anyone who is in the market for a new Chrysler for the best deal possible, that they contact Mitch Stainback at Ourisman Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep in Clarksville, MD. We love our new Chrysler and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy from Mitch again.
Used car purchase - Tom
I purchased a 2011 Grand Cherokee from the dealership. There was an issue with a preexisting crack in the windshield after the purchase was completed. The owner of the dealership personally became engaged and to help resolve this problem. I was very impressed with the personal attention to help resolve the situation.
Great Experience with caring people!! - Rayg
Don Okay and your site GM were both excellent to work with. They were patient, understanding and willing to go the extra mile make the sale happen. My only request is that they remind customers to make their insurance companies aware of the purchase within 72 hours. The sooner the better. This was a great experience. I will return when making my next purchase.
Great experience and staff! - Rizz K
I have owned/bought more than 50 cars in the past thirty some years and my last purchase, from Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Lexington Park, MD, was the best car buying experience. The personnel: General Manager, sales person and finance manager (Bill, Michele, Judy and Dwayne) were all superb at all levels. From the very start, Bill was honest and did exactly what he said he would do for the car that I was going to buy from him. He provided me with all of the needed information before even going to the dealership since it was two hours a way from my home. His honesty made me do business with them, not the price of the car!
I wanted to know exactly what to expect prior to driving that far to buy the car. Not a SINGLE dealer in Northern Virginia was willing to give me the total price and were all zigzaging, but Bill did not do that and was very honest and straight forward with the deal from the first commutation between us.
It was surly worth the two hour drive for buying a used 2015 BMW from Fitzgerald Auto Mall! I am extremely please with the deal and everything that was involved. I will definitely do business with them in the future.
Great Experience - WandaJeepWran

Everything car buying should be - Painless process! - lgillett
David Black was extremely helpful in the entire process. He answered all my questions regarding the vehicle. He was professional, courteous, and we had the perfect service we wanted to get a good price without all the haggling. The process was smooth and quick. I will definitely be back when I'm ready to buy my next car. I would highly recommend this location and staff to all of my friends in the market for a new vehicle.
Steven is amazing! - wendymichelle
Can't tell you how impressed I was by his great service. Beyond the call of duty! Steve took care of every single thing I needed and I will definitely buy cars from him in the future. I love my Jeep!
Samer is the Best!! - Tina Cecil
This was our second purchase from Ourisman, we live near Richmond, our first purchase we came there because of pricing, our second purchase we returned because of the stellar service we received from Samer. He is such a nice gentleman, and made us feel like weve been friends forever. We will definitely return for future purchases.

Great Plans, Lousy Execution! But Great Follow-up!! - Riggs6
Updated!! I will be back to this dealership. They earned my business back by address?ing my concerns before I left their premises. Mike Dennis was outstanding in filling in the gaps that occurred with the initial encounter. Jason Dill is directly engaged with his staff and Customers!!!
This dealership talked a great game and came through with a nice vehicle for me with a good rate and price. However, the reason that they have lost my business is because I communicated with my salesman Karl that I wanted navigation included in my deal. He acknowledged this fact. The navigation WAS NOT added when I picked up the vehicle. They will not add it to my deal, But they want me to pay the y aftermarket price and take more money out of my pocket. I feel I was lied to before and after the fact. Done with this dealership!

Sold a lemon - Storkfamily
We bought our first minivan in October of last year, a Chrysler Town and Country. At the beginning of April we started having problems with it. One day it just stopped starting and it did the several times so we tested the battery and it was fine. We took it to the dealer and they had to replace a sensor in the transmission, mind you this is a brand new vehicle that we haven't even had for 6 months. Yesterday it stopped working again and they had to tow it back to the dealer, smh. I decided to call their corporate office and their computers crashed during our phone call. At that point they told me they would finish up with the information and send me an email with a caseworker and a case number.
I contacted a friend that works at Chrysler and he told me that right before we bought the vehicle they had a big recall to replace the transmission because it would have a loss of power while you were driving. He told me that I should ask for a buy back. The dealership did not disclose that information and had they we most definitely would not have purchased the vehicle. That is three things in less than a year with a brand new vehicle, so I called corporate again. Our friend also told us not to accept the vehicle back. I have a mechanic that works for Chrysler telling me not to take back this vehicle.
I was able to talk with our caseworker and I told her that I did not feel safe putting my children in the vehicle and that I wanted them to trade it or buy it back. She then told me to wait and see if it worked for a couple of days. I told her that I would not endanger the lives of my children for her "wait and see" scenario. At this point i tell them I do not want that vehicle so they tell me they will have to call me back.
After a few hours our caseworker called us back and informs me that they will not do a buy back or a trade. And that they will continue to repair any problems we have per warranty until it runs out.
Are you kidding me. You know your vehicle is unsafe and that the transmission is having problems that you cannot fix correctly, yet you continue to sell it?!?!?! I put my kids in this vehicle everyday expecting a safe ride and this is what Chrysler gives me, a lemon that they refuse to replace! Unbelievable.
I am now making it a point to get this all over social media any way that I can. I contacted a news channel that does consumer reports and will be contacting the BBB and I have also contacted a Lawyer.
Shame on you Chrysler for endangering the lives of your customers.
Felt unappreciated - Aaf0108
I had brought my Jeep in to have them listen to where a certain noise was coming from. I explained roughly where it was coming from and how long it took for it to really be heard. They took it in and a few hours called me saying I had warped rotors. I've never had issues with my braking system, but I trusted them because they deal with jeeps on a regular basis. $400 later after they only resurfaced them (you can my brand new ones at half that price, but again they did the work that I trusted them to do and they deserved to be paid) paid them, pick up my jeep and 10 minutes into the drive IT WAS MAKING THE SAME SOUND!! Called back and explained it's making the same noise and took the jeep back the next day. After waiting all day they finally called, sounding upset with me because their mechanics took it for a spin to listen to the sound and it took the heir whole lunch until it made the noise but they couldn't pin point where it's coming from. Went to pick it up and the Manager Justin was defending his mechanic for his lack of knowledge of Jeeps, because the noise ended up being something more serious than a "warped rotor" that they swear was warped and that the noise was "definitely coming from the braking system and that I should put brand new brakes on" when I had just had all new brakes put on a week before. The issue was the drive shaft. Never will I bring my Jeep back nor will tell anyone to take their Jeep here. They're over-priced for xxxxxx service.
OMG Leckner Chrysler!! - SteelerFan84
Me and the wife are still in the early stages of purchasing a vehicle. But the team at Leckner Dodge and especially RYAN P are awesome. Ryan was so helpful and we will definitely be back to purchase from him when the time is right.
Best car shopping experience I've ever had! - Aaronarnold
Best car shopping experience I've ever had!Ive bought a lot of cars in my lifetime. None were ever this stress free and appreciative.
Time for a new Truck! - Cwnuke
In March, I decided it was time to get a new pick-up. My Chevy Silverado was on its' last leg and I wanted something a little more powerful. I did my due diligence and visited the GMC dealership across the street and the Chevy dealership down the road a bit (they didn't have time for me) and I skipped the Ford dealership all together because I heard they are making their beds out of aluminum now (I'm sure it is a great product, just not for me).
So, I stopped into Safford and Mason O'Roark was the guy who made the deal! He took the time to show me everything they had on the lot, and then re-show me those things that I had an interest in. He took the time to work with me and if he didn't have the answer to one of my questions, he bent over backwards to find it for me. I ended up buying a Ram 3500, and am very pleased with the vehicle!
Mason did a great job from start to finish! his communications (e-mails and texts) were excellent, and the post purchase follow-up was terrific.
Best Jeep Dealer and Service in Northern Va. - jeep owner
They have an excellent staff of trained service professionals who correctly identify the problem and fix it, minimizing unnecessary work and expense. Another dealer miss identified the problem and Koons repaired it for one-third the cost of the other dealers quote.
Very Happy - costello67
Just want to thank my salesman Ernest for a wonderful car buying experience. I did not plain to buy a car the day I stopped in, just wanted to look around. I saw a truck I like and I ended up taking it home. Everyone there was great. Thanks again for a great experience.
Communication is horrible - EMO
Well, this was a disappointment. I had a decent experience once before as I needed a quick patch for a tire before a snow storm. I thought I would try it again for service since I've moved and this dealership is a lot closer than my normal one. Nope. I'll drive the distance to my previous one.
I had an appointment for 0945. I checked in right around 0930. The check in desk wasn't friendly but wasn't rude either. Just kind of meh. I apologize, I think her name was Kristy/Kristen? After we figured out that I was only going to be there for an oil change and tire rotation (My email had said about an 18 month service reminder so it was on me for not knowing what all I should have had done. I also have a service agreement and everything she suggested was going to cost me. I declined so I could go back to read the agreement as it sounded like some of the work should be included), she asked if I was going to wait for it. I told her I was since it shouldn't be that long and even asked where the lounge area was. She told me around the corner and off I went. Got an email a few minutes later with my check in info....showed I was waiting and it would be around 1115 contact. No worries. Got a text from "Tommy" the service advisor, saying to text him if I needed anything during my visit. Neat. They do have a pretty cool coffee machine in their lounge, so I was good for the moment.
At 1230, I texted asking if there was an update. No response. I eventually get a text back at 1345, stating my vehicle should be ready at 1500 or 1530. A vehicle broke down in the bay this morning. I asked him why no one could have come out or texted me since I've been her since 0930. He said he was sorry but that he was told I had dropped it. He did come out in person to say they switched my car to another technician and he could set me up with a loaner. At this point though, I'm not driving in traffic to turn around to come back. He also reiterated that he was told I had dropped off. I clarified that it was clear I was waiting and that I had even asked for directions to the lounge.
At almost 1500, the check in employee came back out stating I was done and pointed at the bottom where she attached two $25 gift cards. I gave them back and told her that I would not be returning and would also like to speak to a manager. After about 7 minutes, I decided to go ahead and leave. Which I know isn't a long time but I was done being there. As I was walking about, I told the employee, who was on the phone with someone else so I wasn't trying to be completely rude, that I was leaving. I got in and left.
There were several different issues with this. My paperwork says I was waiting and the text I received made me believe that they knew I was there so I'm not sure how the miscommunication happened. When the technician knew there was going to be a long delay in service, a text message or phone call should have happened. They can text in the beginning, why not a text to update? When my car was done, it would have been classy to send the manager out to apologize and acknowledge they'd look into the issue. Even if it's fluff, it still goes a long way. The technician knew I was annoyed. And would it have killed them to run it through the car wash or offer to wash it?
I will gladly drive back to my old dealership. I also learned to speak up sooner even though I was trying to give them some space since it was my first time there.
Great experience with dealership, would recommend - A Charles
I purchased a wrangler unlimited a couple of weeks ago and Dominique W. helped us. He was extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. Although we used the USAA car cutting service, he was still able to get the deal we wanted, doing better than other dealerships without any hassle. I would recommend this dealership and visit again.
Great Service - Desireah
We were in and out in a hour and a half. Great haggling no fuss!! I would come back anytime and buy or lease a vehicle.
I purchased my Jeep here and I am from the Norfolk area - jglover210
I am a lifelong GM driver and my Yukon was on the way out and I had been test driving multiple SUV's in my area knowing that I needed a new car. I was visiting my parents in Front Royal and figured I would give a Grand Cherokee a test drive. It is one smooth riding vehicle being a Mercedes based suspension and extra welds in the unibody. I got this information from Bobby Gruver as he was very knowledgeable about the construction of the Grand Cherokee and other Jeeps (especially the Wrangler). He was patient with us as we also drove a Durango and Acadia, not to mention debating about the Jeep for 2 days. We were going to another dealership to drive a Cadillac SRX and he encouraged us to do so as he stood by the Jeep. We decided on the Grand Cherokee, which in my area would have cost a full $5k more than what we paid at Marlow. There was a small hiccup with financing as Mr. Talley was out that day, but was promptly fixed. Mr. Talley realized there were some mistakes and made sure we were financed at our lowest possible interest rate. (Small mention, another staff member took my 5 year old daughter to pick a candy cane off their tree while we were doing paperwork, very cool.) My father had reccomended me to Marlow when he had service work done on his Wrangler and was impressed. So, both service and sales are outstanding as far as I'm concerned. I would drive 3+ hours to work with them again.
Great Overall Experience! - LISA FOLEY
Worked directly with the owner, he was super friendly, very professional, overall a great experience to car shopping! Dealership was spotless and we were not bombarded with over anxious sales people! will def tell friends and family to go there first!
Paul and Dave. The Best of the Best - MPKilcoyne
Last Saturday, I had a totally pain-free experience buying a car with Dave Clinesmith, my gentleman salesman, and Paul Mahoney, Finances with a smile, and helpful hand.
As they say, "No Pressure, Only Pleasure." i was in-and-out before I knew it. They did an amazing job upgrading the car, free, topped the gas tank off, new car mats, and spit shine on my car. Definitely will return to the scene of this wonderful group of guys. The other salesman couldn't have been any more helpful, as well.
Thanks Tate, for having this group of Guys.
Disappointed with them - William.long
So to start off I have recently purchased a 2013 Dodge Ram 4x4 from this location approximately 100 miles later the check engine light came on. I contact my salesman and asked why that might be. My dealer stated that the previous owner had put after market exhaust on the truck and that the exhaust he used would not match the trucks O2 censor and that is why the check engine light is on. Although I wasn't pleased with the answer given I decided to let it be and bite my lip.
Two weeks later I arrived on a Saturday morning to have the spray in bed liner installed. I removed the main bed cover which is a water seal cover to make the installation easier on the dealership. The cover has two rails with water hoses to drain water that would potentially stand on the cover itself. The dealership took both rails off the truck conducted the installation but failed to reinstall the rails so I could put my bed cover back on. In my experience with service departments if you remove an item of the truck you reinstall that item not leave them in the bed of the truck. I asked the service department why the weren't reinstalled and they stated to me that they would not be able to put them on for me and I could reinstall it myself or bring it back another day and they would take care of it. So I once again bit my lip Unsatisfied with the service. I got home 30 minutes later to discover that there was a series on small scratches above the handle to the tail gate. I contacted the dealership again on the following Wednesday to pay the remaining balance of my down payment of 3000 of the 8000 I put down. I notified the dealership that I was unhappy with the scratches and that they haven't tried to fix the problems. Later that night I was driving home from work when I heard a scraping sound coming from my truck at that time my exhaust pipe fell off and nearly caused three vehicles to wreck. I apologized to the people about the exhaust falling off almost causing a collision but was glad that no one was hurt. This could have been a very expensive law suit against the dealership if someone would have died because of there lack of inspection skills and selling a vehicle that had faulty equipment. I contacted the dealership that same night and to my surprise a salesman answered the phone and I told him what had happened. He asked me if I was going to bring the truck in and I said I would be there in the morning. I arrived expecting the dealership to seriously compensate me with several options and all I got was here's a rental car we will fix your truck and send you on your way. At this point I don't even want the truck it's faulty and has almost taken someone's life id rather they find me a truck that I like that has the same or better features and give it to me for the same price that I currently pay for the faulty truck if that can't happen I will be talking with a lawyer this afternoon.
What Customer Service? - DaGrinch
Bought a used Jeep Liberty from an individual and it came with only one key. I bought a blank key from an outside source and had my son go to Bender's to have the key cut and programmed. They wouldn't touch it because it wasn't a MOPAR key. I knew I was risking the blank to be bad - what difference does it make to them? They were going to be paid for their time and effort. Nope, wouldn't touch it.
This would have been the perfect opportunity for this dealership to establish a good rapport - never know, I might need parts for the used Liberty and with a good experience, there's always the possibility I'd be back. They don't have to worry about it now.
