My Review Of Airport Honda:
My husband and I were looking for a sort of sporty, relatively inexpensive car to take us through a few more years. We didn't want to finance, which we thought might be a turn off for some dealerships.
We found a car that fit the bill at Airport Honda (AH), and we emailed the internet sales contact, Geof Ryback. We exchanged emails, determining that we thought the price we wanted to pay would work out! We visited the dealership, where we met Kevin Coffman, and with a quick form to fill out we took the car to our mechanic, which AH had no problem with. Being an older car (2000) we expected some work, and found some normal stuff for the age of the car. I talked to Kevin about it, and we found that their service shop could do the repairs cheaper than my estimates. Though this could have just been a "let's sell the car" tactic--we came back with the car and Chuck, the service manager came out, introduced himself, and took us back into the shop to look under the car (they pulled it in while we were there) and help us understand some of the repairs. Turns out there weren't as many problems as we thought--which was great. They could have sold us a lot of unnecessary repairs (because we already thought they were needed), but they didn't. I was impressed by the shop and their openness.
The price of the car ended up being just right, Kevin and the sales manager Erick worked with us to help us stay in our budget, and paying cash was no problem. The sales consultant (Paul McKeever) we dealt with was clear on everything on our paperwork when we paid for the car. This was the easiest car sale I've ever been a part of, and I won't lie, we'd been dreading the process. Turns out there was no need to worry.
It took a little while for the repairs, as parts were needed (it's not a Honda, so they didn't have them in stock) but Matt, the service rep we worked with tried to bend over backwards for us, even offering to drive to US to bring us a loaner car while our car was being worked on (we live about 20 minutes away.) We didn't need it, but it was nice that they were willing to help us out in just about any way.
After this whole experience, I feel pretty confident that AH stands by their work, and if you buy or have a car serviced there, you can be honest with them in what you want, and they'll work hard to get what you need--which isn't always the case at other places I've been to. Kevin also followed up a few times to make sure everything was going ok, and that we enjoyed the car. Just another personal detail that we appreciated.
