My Review of Hickory Hollow Carnival Kia:
Doug did a very good job assisting us with the available inventory. However, due to limited inventory and features that we chose for a Sorento LX; we priced the trade with the LX, but the available EX had more of the features over the LX, but had a 6 cyl and not the 4 cyl we wanted. I told Doug......find me an LX with the desired features at one of the two other dealerships. Doug was unable to do this for a variety of reasons that I simply do not understand!! So, we began price negotiations on the available EX with 6 cyl engine and we could not find common ground....after 3 rounds of attempts to find a price point, I walked away.
The good news for Carnival Kia is I bought a Sorento at the Franklin dealership on the same day that I could not come to a price agreement with the Hickory Hollow location.
Doug Eckhardt is an asset to your organization who ALMOST sold me a Sorento!!
PS: The inability to sell any vehicle within your total inventory by any dealership is an absurdity and a disservice to your clients and sales staff. You have a high quality thoroughbred vehicle line......its time to bring your inventory management techniques into the 21st Century and deliver thoroughbred quality in the management of that inventory. I'm a consultant, perhaps I could be of service?
