My Review Of Russell & Smith Honda:
Dung Le is competent, patient and diligent. I genuinely enjoyed working with him; he got me a great deal on a car that I literally had no intention of leasing (I didn't think I could afford it). However, he informed me of the special that they had, and the rest was smooth sailing. Negotiating never felt like I had to give, give, give instead it actually felt like the complete opposite which should be be the case as I am the customer. On a side note, I thoroughly appreciate the fact that the salespeople were very international (not just Caucasians). I am a white boy disguised as an Asian. Their location is not exactly in my neck of the woods, but I won't mind driving to them in the future as (passing 2 Honda dealerships that are closer) since they gave me no headache whatsoever. He even had the courtesy to let me leave during the weekend as I had prior engagements. He had to trust that I would come back, and I did.
Amy Tran had just the right amount of friendliness and professionalism. She gave me the paperwork I had to sign but did so with efficiency and speed. After refusing to get any kind of coverage on my lease, she did not show any annoyance or disappointment. She advised me to contact my insurance company about the new lease, and I did so immediately. I would have done so without her direction, but I appreciated the face that she emphasized that (which is what she should have done). All in all, Russell Smith Honda does their work in the right way: very little to no pressure during the car lease process.
I went to 4 different dealerships (2 Hondas, Hyundai & Mazda) before them and would highly recommend Russell Smith over the others. I fault the other dealerships for the following:
1) they didn't approach me in the showroom in a timely manner so I left
2) they kept raising the lease price on a cheaper car
3) they never called me to negotiate a price
4) they never even let me test drive their vehicle (this was a shocker to me).
By the time, I got to Russell Smith I didn't want anymore nonsense. They were head & shoulders the best (they have a banner stating that women chose their dealership as the best for treating women right!) I could go on & on, but you get the picture by now...
