John Travis Jr. at Tony Hyundai

My mother had previously bought a used truck from this dealership. She said Aaron was really helpful in getting her exactly the truck she wanted and with a way lower interest rate she was at before, so she was extremely happy with her purchase. When I told her I was looking for a car she told me to come to this dealership because of her good experience. We went in not knowing exactly what we were looking for but after explaining our situation to John he showed us the perfect car he had in mind. It was at an amazing rate, but it was a new car which I wasn't expecting to get. He did explain to me how easy it would be to build up my credit with this car, and other benefits with this purchase as well. After the test drive I decided that this was the car that I wanted to purchase. After getting my loan approved, I came back to the dealership and Aaron had the car all ready for me when I arrived. He walked me through all the final paper work. He was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. I then went to talk to Jack in finance, who was also very helpful and personable. Aaron then arranged for me to meet Elmer, one of the service advisors, so I could set up my 90 day service and also so I knew someone in that department as well. I love my new car and everyone who helped me through this process. Everyone I met was very helpful and I am amazed that the first car John showed us would be the car that fit me perfect. Aaron was very helpful in walking me through the set up of my car and was able to answer any questions that I had. I love how personable every one here was, and how amazing the deals at Hyundai are. I love all my warranties, and was amazed that I even got an iPod chord with the car! I absolutely love how everyone walked me step by step through this process, especially since this being my first experience and I really had no idea what I was doing. I also love all the small service details that were provided, like Aaron introducing me to some one in the service department. It made me feel a lot more comfortable and very happy. Thank you for giving me an amazing experience at this dealership and setting me up with an amazing deal for my first car!

Buying a brand new Hyundai from Tony Hyundai has been our best car buying experience ever. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, honest and just so nice. Not only was it the best car buying experience but it was also very refreshing to shop, not be pressured and receive a honest quote with no games/run around. Not only was the buying process great, John Travis was outstanding, excellent and exceptional in explaining in detail all the features of the car. He is DA MAN!!! I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with GM Allan too as if we were old family friends. Aaron and John Kato were on the ball with timely follow-up calls/emails and very professional interactions. Even the Service Department welcomed us too:-).

BTW, my brother owns two Hyundai's and has had only the highest praise for your auto group. And I must convey that all the praise given is most certainly welled deserved!!!

John made my car buying experience extremely easy and very enjoyable. I kept bracing myself for the "salesman" pitch or the haggling, but I didn't receive either. From his initial greeting, John was like meeting a long lost family member. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and just like my dad, made sure I was being practical when I asking about the options packages! He genuinely seemed to be looking out for MY best interest.

In the end, I bought EXACTLY what I needed and wanted in a vehicle. I was sad to say goodbye to my 10 year old mini-van that my son literally grew up in, but John was sweet enough to take a picture of me with my old car (that I traded in) so I could always remember how good it was to me. By the time I drove home, the mini-van was almost forgotten and I was already in love with my new Santa Fe Sport 2.0T!

Even thought I live in town, I will continue coming to this location for service because it is a comfortable, clean facility, and everyone there makes you feel like you're part of the family. I am definitely recommending John Travis Jr. and Tony Hyundai Waipahu to all my friends and family!

The staff was very professional. Being from a neighbor island they treated me like family. Very helpful, very informed and friendly. I would definetely recommend them. Give them a 10!

In buying an Elantra for my wife and a Sonata for myself, I always felt the focus was on helping find the car that best met our needs. Everyone was professional, friendly and I never felt that I was being pressured. The staff at Tony Hyundai are knowledgable, well trained and most pleasant to deal with. After buying a car, the service department is like no other I have ever experienced. You are greeted with a smile and everything is done on time. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, has a big TV and vending machines. The bathrooms are spotless and they give you a free car wash when you leave. Now this is a SERVICE department.

John assisted us in purchasing a used vehicle today! He was not pushy at all. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Overall the entire Hyudai staff was very professional. They made us feel comfortable. We a very happy with our purchase and would recommend friends & family to hyundai.
