"Hixson at Monroe is a JOKE!"

I have a 2015 F-150. The truck on a cold start would rattle and tick around the front driver side tire. I knew this wasn't a normal sound because my last truck did it and I was told "that's what a Ford sounds like" .. the main barring went out shortly after. So I took it to a Ford dealer in Minnesota while I was on vacation and was told it was normal. Returned to Louisiana and took it to Hixson told them what was going on with it, showed them videos I had of the noise. They kept it for 2 weeks!! During this time I did NOT receive one single phone call from them about anything I always to call and check on it. (This whole time I'm dealing with the "service manager") aka Sam! I finally demand a response on what's wrong he tells me the cam phaser and solenoid were out and the part would be in the following Monday.. Tuesday came around and he called and said it was ready, I went to the dealer at 530 and he wasn't there.. I had to wait 30 mins for them to find my keys, I paid for my oil change and asked for my warranty paperwork, the woman looked at me and said there is no paperwork to go talk to a woman in service so I did so. I talked to a woman named Terra, she looks at the computer and tells me "sir I'll take the rap and ratting them out but nothing was ordered or fixed on your truck" I said I'll be in contact the next day, I walked out and started my truck and heard the noise so I shut it down and went and got her so she could hear. She told me that it definitely wasn't normal and to bring it the next day she would have me a loaner and she would call at 9 am. Next day came 945 am came around and nothing, I called her cell phone and no answer, I called service was put on hold for 20 mins, finally Sam (the service manager that has been pulling my leg) answered and said he was the one I needed to talk too. So Terra lied and wouldn't even talk to me. I finally told Sam I'd like to talk to manager above him and he had one call me. I told this manager what was going on and he says " sir I looked and listened to your truck with the shop foreman, those Ecoboost just rattle sometimes" I said... I don't have a Ecoboost, I have the V-8!!! SO there was yet ANOTHER LIE!! He could not answer me on why the service manager told me parts were ordered and could not answer me about Terra lying to me. So all in all they kept my truck 2 weeks for a oil change and now it's at another dealership getting looked at! I deal alot with the public and will be sure to tell everyone not to go to HIXSON IN MONROE Louisiana!!

"No service after sale. "Error with paperwork""

I purchased a new Ford Fiesta from the Alexandria location at the beginning of the month. The paperwork said the car had 12 miles but we realized when driving home the car had over 1,000. I called them the next day and they denied it could have that many miles and that it had 90 at most. After a few texts and phone calls they admitted that they had found the mistake and that it did have over 1,000 miles when it was sold to me. I was a bit upset but they offered to extend the warranty I had purchased by 1,000 miles and throw in a few extra oil changes. I understand that mistakes happen and I thought that was a fair and simple compensation. I went in the following weekend to get the paperwork to prove I have additional oil changes and the extra warranty. My salesman wasn't there and nobody knew who I was or how to handle the situation. I left them my email for them to send me a copy and my number in case there was any problem. I recieved no email or phone call. The next week I texted my salesman and asked him to email me a copy. He said he would. I never got an email. I texted and asked again Monday if he could please email me. No reply text, no email or anything.

"Best Sevvice I ever had at a Dealership!!"

Wow! great service! Thank you Ben Wightkin for a great experience at Hixson! You took care of all my concerns and educated me about the vehicles I was interested in. You were very professional, knowledgeable and very helpful explaining how to use all the new extra's in the vehicle. And to top it off, when it came time to talk about the best price available to me the Manager Anthony Onebene was awesome! THANK YOU BEN & ANTHONY!! I will refer Hixson Autoplex and the awesome professionals I was lucky enough to have the great experience with to everyone family and friends!!!

"Revising my review "

I wrote a good review on these people a while back but that was before I knew they took advantage of me. This place is horrible. They ripped me off so bad and I'm sure I wasn't the first and won't be the last. They overcharged me over 10,000 worth of charges like warranty gap and other added stuff. And with an 8% interest rate which they said was the best they could do. This place is horrible!!! Luckily I went to white ford months later and they helped me get out of my situation and gave me a 3 percent interest rate. thank god for that. Hixson is the worst dealership ever. Live and learn. Will never go there again. Oh I forgot to mention they ripped me off so bad they actually owed me money and finally wrote me a 4500$ check 11 weeks later in which they played dumb like they didn't know what I was talking about. Do ur self a favor and do not go there.

"Questionable Practices"

My car window had to be busted, for good reason, and I was told we will have it detailed and there would be no glass when they were done, not the case. When I received my car back there was still glass shards and larger pieces of glass everywhere and goo smeared on the door panel where some other work was performed . I feel like if my car would have been newer, things might not have turned out as they did. My car was much cleaner when I took it to them than when I received it back and this is after paying them a lot of money. I guess my definition of detail and theirs is extremely different. Anyway, they are the only BMW dealership in the area, but I may consider alternatives the next time if any. They didn't do a good job keeping me up to date on the progress of my work either as another reviewer experienced here, hmmm pattern?

i just want to really say thanks for all the people that helped me at Hixon Ford. Jim my salesman and the new owner/ manager Leo helped me out so much!! If there is anything you need to know about a truck, Jim is the man to talk to! He knows so much u think he built the truck! seriously. And ive never seen anyone help me out and work so hard more than Mr. Leo. He really helped me out more than anyone else would!! he will go that extra step that hardly any other people in this business will. Great people up there. Truly thankful everyone who helped. Ive always been a chevy type guy. but holy crap! Ford for life all they way!!!! Thanks alot guys!
