I have called Vroom multiple times to ask for a delivery date, was promised an update “same day” on several different days, and nobody has gotten back to me. Buying from Vroom appears to be a logistical dis date, was promised an update “same day” on several different days, and nobody has gotten back to me. Buying from Vroom appears to be a logistical disaster and I would never recommend it to anyone. This is the worst “online” shopping experience that I have ever had to deal with. I feel that I have had to call so many times, I’m like a part-time Vroom employee at this point. I would have rather bought another vehicle from a dealer. I would be driving it by now. I initiated this purchase on March 11th. It’s now March 25th, two weeks later, and I still have no idea when I will get the car. Neither does anyone at Vroom, whose employees prefer to transfer me from one voicemail and one department to another without taking any responsibility to address my concern. It took a full week just to complete the paperwork because of Vroom’s burdensome requirements. I don’t understand how a company this poorly run can stay in business. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this “process” while buying a car. More

Purchasing a vehicle from Vroom was by far the worst vehicle purchase transaction I ever experienced. The first vehicle I purchased from Vroom actually went relatively smoothly, so I came back to Vroom vehicle purchase transaction I ever experienced. The first vehicle I purchased from Vroom actually went relatively smoothly, so I came back to Vroom to purchase a second vehicle. That transaction was a nightmare, as I waited for an extended period of time to get the title. Then, over ONE YEAR later, after I had paid cash for that second car and held a clear title with no lien, Vroom contacted me and said that I owed them nearly $30,000 for the vehicle. They provided no proof for this claim, and threatened to commence collection proceedings. When I called Vroom customer service about this, they said that their records showed that I owed nothing for the vehicle. After two months of back and forth and me having to waste a day putting together all of the proof that I had actually purchased the vehicle for cash, Vroom said the $30,000 demand was an error on their part. How exactly do you make an error like that? More

The entire process was quick and convenient... began process on 2/8...car delivered with 90-day temporary plates and registration on 2/25... permanent plates and registration arrived on 3/21! I've been telling all my friends and family about my awesome Vroom experience and my beautiful 2020 Chevy Equinox! More
This company makes me want to do business with a car dealership, and that is saying something. The customer service is atrocious at best. They have no update on where or when your car will be delivered. It is 2023, I can track delivery of almost everything, but not the car that is being shipped to me that I paid thousands for? If you elevate concerns, nothing will be done about them, they will flag them as high priority which means absolutely nothing. They should be ashamed that they allow their customers to feel insecure about a car purchase and you should look elsewhere to purchase a vehicle. More

Dealership experience was bad aside from the sales guy which he was just doing his part, the car had defects that were not stated on the add when i b Dealership experience was bad aside from the sales guy which he was just doing his part, the car had defects that were not stated on the add when i brought it to their attention they said they wanted to fix there that they were not gonna paid tesla shop to fix when indeed the vehicle is under tesla warranty the car was dirty all they did was give me a car wash voucher, told them I can’t leave the car there because i needed the car which is the reason why i drove 3hrs to pick it up , when i took the car the sales Manager stated that are not going to cover anything because i wanted to take the car i said that it would’ve been the same if the car was delivered to me soo why the pushback instead of helping me . Took the car home made an appointment with tesla submitted the estimate with vroom for defects within 7 days of purchase they denied my claim they lied about talking to me all i got was an email denying my claim and called multiple times in the last 2 months and just keep getting the runaround. The last conversation i had with a rep advice me that there is supposed to be a mutual agreement for the claim submitted and since they never talked to me that agreement was never met or done soo all i get after 2 months is basically saying to me hey messed up but we are not going to do anything about it because management denied it . Soo here i am with out of pocket cost to fix something that Vroom needed to cover based on their policy. Honestly is by far the worst experience I’ve had on a car purchase. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend Vroom to anyone. I love my car but i wish they actually backed up in their policy and follow up properly with their customers. More
