He tried to make me feel like I was lucky they were going to sell me a vehicle, going as far as insulting me in front of other customers. I would never go back and will tell everyone I know to stay far away from Muzi Ford. This person was the rudest salesman I have dealt with in my whole life and should not be in his curent position. I would like to thank him as I found a much better deal down the street. More
I am reluctant to post this now as my vehicle is still hostage at Muzi Ford service department in Needham, but people need to know that is it NOT the place to go for service. If I can save just one innoce hostage at Muzi Ford service department in Needham, but people need to know that is it NOT the place to go for service. If I can save just one innocent person then I have done my job as a responsible citizen. I took my 2007 Ford Escape hybrid in for the standard 7k check up and I came out with a busted axil seal and a transmission fluid leak. The story is long but here are some bullet points - I drove away from the dealer about 7miles, parked it, and after moving it, discovered the transmission fluid leak. Pink snow is not a good sign especially on a new car. - I drove back to the dealer and told them I now had a transmission fluid leak - they told me they would tell me what was wrong with my car. - they refused to believe that there was even a remote possibility they were responsible. - 2 hours later I left in a rental car which I am paying ten dollars a day for and in order to get to, I had to salt a path to the car myself, and chip it out of the ice with my scraper that I had to retrieve out of my own vehicle while the service employees stood around smoking cigarettes. - Day 2 and I am still waiting on them to fix my leak. They have the part, its a 3 hour job, and they work two shifts until midnight yet, for some reason the job can't be completed. I could go on and on but I will wait until my dear vehicle is back in my possession. Then perhaps I will touch on the condescension I experienced and what it means to be from somewhere other than here. oh, and to be fair when Bob Chandler, the service manager, finally entered the discussion. He treated me with respect. More
This is my second post. The first was very positive. I would just like to say that i am VERY upset at the way business was handled this evening. My car was delivered without hubcaps and i was told that if would just like to say that i am VERY upset at the way business was handled this evening. My car was delivered without hubcaps and i was told that if i came back on monday they would take a set off of another car and put it on mine. I made the treck (which they knew was all the way from Danvers) during rush hour traffic in the snow and they told me they couldnt do it because the hub cap would break when removing it from the other car. This was not the salesman's fault at all....he asked the General manager and he declined. I am sorry but being a ford dealership.....i am sure they are aware of the fact that Ford's sales are flat. Perhaps a phone call so that i would not have to make my way all the way to Norwood from Danvers would have been nice. The 1 in friendlyness is for the GM which remained at his desk while i stood and waited. He looked at me across the floor and didnt even bother to get up to explain the situation. His message to me was.....if i wanted them to take the hubcap off of another car for mine....and one broke.....i would have to pay for it. I just bought a brand new car from them and this is the way i am treated by their GM? He clearly has no clue how a business should be run. I hope the owner of Muzi Ford reads this because i personally believe he acted in a completely unprofessional manner. More
I would just like to say that I just had a wonderful experience at Muzi. My wife and I just bought a brand new Ford Focus and we got a great price. Not only did we get a great price but we were treated experience at Muzi. My wife and I just bought a brand new Ford Focus and we got a great price. Not only did we get a great price but we were treated with fairly and with a great amount of respect. Not only was the salesman excellent but both the finance and sales manager were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend checking their vast inventory along the way. More
left my vehicle for warranty repairs, after two days without a call (I called them), spoke to service and was told my car was sent to the body shop. My back door needed to be realigned. That was easy. without a call (I called them), spoke to service and was told my car was sent to the body shop. My back door needed to be realigned. That was easy. I received a call that my vehicle was back at service. I call service and was told it was all set and ready for pick up. About a 1/2 hour before pick up, I received a call from the Service Writer and was told they couldn't find any mechanical problems. I was like, your kidding, right? That evening we took the mechanic for a drive with us and guess what, he heard the problem, both of them. We left the vehicle and they fixed one problem (so I think) and claim the other noise is tire related (my tires need to be rotated but they didn't rotate them). Oh, did I mention that my boyfriend owns his own repair business so we knew exactly what was wrong. Needless to say, I will pick up my vehicle since I need it for the weekend and deal with it after. I hate Muzi Ford!!!!! More
Got a good price on an Explorer, but discoverd the speed control didn't work after I got it home. Called the salesman and explained the situation. He said he'd get back to me and he did within the hour. control didn't work after I got it home. Called the salesman and explained the situation. He said he'd get back to me and he did within the hour. He urgently told me to bring it right in (Saturday). I drove the 45 minutes and talked to the service associate. He looked it up on the computer and immediately informed me they had disconnected the speed control cable because of a recall. I'm not sure why the salesman didn't tell me that when he sold me the vehicle, or when I called back. Don't get me started on their service. Had several issues before learning not to go back there. -Went in for engine work due to TSB 06 19 08 where Cam Phasers were replaced in the engine in a 2005 F-150. This was under warantee. -After truck would not shift correctly. Went back. They zapped the com Phasers were replaced in the engine in a 2005 F-150. This was under warantee. -After truck would not shift correctly. Went back. They zapped the computer with an update. fixed hesitation at 1000 but shifted it to 2k -Still did not shift correct (hesitation at 2000 RPM). They applied TSB 06 22 07 - replaced check ball -Still did not shift correctly. They applied another computer update. Didnt fix it. - At this point they started telling me that it is my imagination and all F-150s present the same issue. Refused to continue working on the truck. Was told by Service Rep Bill that "my boss says that there is nothing wrong with my truck, and my boss is always right" (what happened to the customer being always right) - Brought truck to another dealership (Rodman) - found that when they applied TSB 06 22 07 they must have forgot /didnt know how to check the transmission fluid level so it was more that 2 quarts low. Simply by adding fluid, fixed the issue. These guys are so dependent on computer feedback and TSBs - if the computer is not throwing some code, then to Muzi, the vehicle has no issue. It was my bad that I didn't check the fluid - but you would think that this would be the first thing they would check. Then again, the tech most likely just didnt know how to check the level correctly (engine running. PBrake on, after shifting through the gears) I should have known to not have them work on the car after they rotated the tires and over-toqued the lugs to over 200 ft-lbs and then was told that was impossible because their impact wrench does not put out more than 85... Too Funny!! Seems old Ford company would only let them sell 2 at the advertised price..LMAO! Like Ford would stoop so low!!.. Never again !! More
Muzi, promised us certain payments per month for so many years and a price on a vehicle (that I had to pull teeth for) and I told them that I would be back the next day to close the deal, and when I went ba years and a price on a vehicle (that I had to pull teeth for) and I told them that I would be back the next day to close the deal, and when I went back it was a WHOLE DIFFERENT deal. I asked to speak to the manager and he was not helpful. There were also two other people there that day that were not happy with Muzi. So buyers beware, Muzi will try to take you over the coals. Just remember your money spends anywhere! More
