I just went through the easiest car buying transaction ever! Joshua Longshore contacted me after I reached out to the dealership about a particular car (make, model, color, and options) they had on their lot. He just asked if he could get me any information, and to contact him when I was ready to look. I texted him a couple of days later to set up a time to meet. The dealership was 45 miles from our home, and I was afraid that they would think they had us when we got there. He had the car ready for us when we got there. We took it for a test drive, he got a quick appraisal on our trade-in, and within minutes, had a written deal. It was within $400 of our "wish for price." When we told him, he said let me see if we can find a way to make this work. The sales manager came in and wrote on the deal, Out the Door and then our price. When we went to pay, the finance person, told us about possible warranty options, which we declined. It was not followed by a sales pitch; he just went on to the next piece of paper to sign. Within ten minutes we were done with the license transferred and keys in hand. We got a great deal and had a pleasant experience. I don't know if the Covid-19 slow sales helped us get a good deal, but we never felt any pressure to buy. From the sales team to the finance team, everyone was awesome.
