Apparently you need to buy your car from them, it needs to be one of the more costly models and even then you will be treated with contempt unless you are a celebrity, kiss their rear end or are ok with being abused, ripped off and burned. Their attitude is unbelievably horrid. Their motto is we are right and you will never be correct about anything.

Then I called in and was transferred to Franz Krieg. Initially was ok. Then it became another round of phone tagging.

Took the car in for service due to smog monitors not ready. Tamir, the SA, wasn't that helpful. Rather condescending and implied that I was wasting his time. Eventually the technician, Jason, came out and checked the car using Xentry. Jason was a lot more understanding and patient.

Sucks that Calstar is in Glendale. Sucks even more that I had to try Calstar's service department multiple times before I realized that they're just horrible at what they do. I kept my mouth shut the first few times. Left a good review the first time because the advisers pretty much beg you and play the sympathy card that their paycheck relies on it...so out of pure guilt of not wanting to hurt anyone's paycheck, I would leave a good review. I quickly realized that i'm not doing anyone a favor by doing that and after getting ripped off of my time and money...i'll speak out now. SAVE yourself A LOT of time and money and go to another dealer. Even when you go in telling them how horrendous your last couple experiences were with Calstar, they still manage to shaft you with a big smile on their faces. I wont get into details about everything...just drive 10 min out and save yourself a lot of time.

I've been taking my Mercedes to Escondido for multiple services because they got the job done right and customer service was great. They were recently purchased and since then, I have been wasting my money with them. They take my car all day and can't even perform basic service. I asked them to lube the doors and sun roof because they were squeaking and after having the ~$700 Service B done, I got home and the doors and sun room still squeak! I wont be servicing my Mercedes here any longer. I left Temecula Mercedes because they have tried to sell me parts that were not needed multiple times, I guess it's time to locate a new dealer or maybe an Indy shop.
