First experience buying a CR-V from Honda of Annapolis - valonis
My salesman Mark Rivers sat down with my wife and I to find out just what we were interested in. After that he took us for a test drive in a AW CR-V Honda, during which he explained the basic features of the car. Upon return to his office, we negotiated an acceptable offer and purchased the car. During the process, he did not try to influence us with additional options. He was truly a non-pressure salesman, and explained all of the features of the car. Also, Mark put permanent tags on the new car, called my insurance company which faxed a ryder to my policy showing the new car. And contacted the MD MVA and obtained a registration document. And then we completed the finance transaction. Then we drove off with our new car--all of this took about 4 hours. That was a week ago and we are enjoying our new car and also enjoyed the experience-thanks to Mark.

My husband and my family are a Honda family. We had a Honda salesman that was our family car salesman for years and always treated us as family. Unfortunately, he has cancer and because of treatment will retire early and spend time with his family. My husband and I have two labs and are expecting a baby. We need a new car to accommodate the new addition to our growing family.
We went to Honda of Owings Mills with the intention of just looking at the CR-V's because we were very nervous to buy from someone we didn't know.
Then Jon Hereford greeted us. He was very personable, genuine, and knowledgeable. Much to our surprise he helped us find the exact car we were looking for and we now go out on a drive just to be in the car! After we bought the car he could have handed us our keys and sent us on our way but instead he helped us for another half hour setting up our features in our car like syncing our phones, setting the radio stations, etc. This car salesman will be our new family Honda car salesman and should be yours too! We can't say enough good things about him as a person and his knowledge on Honda's.
Go to Honda Owings Mills. They make the best cars and have Jon Hereford as a car salesman! :)

Disclaimer - The only reason I am rating this two stars is because I also bought a new Honda there and the Sales Dept. did an excellent job. My review is related to the Service Dept since the Manager, Fred, made no attempts to make things right.
Waste of time and money for a state inspection! My sports car is not a Honda but I called and they said no problem so I made an appointment that I was quoted at 1.5 to 2hrs. Well I spent almost 3hrs there only to be told I need to take my car elsewhere then bring it back to re-inspect for more money since it failed. Next shop was only charging a little more to do another state inspection over what Norris Honda wanted to charge for the re-inspection so I decided to not take it back and wait a long time again. Well the new shop found other state inspection issues that the first Inspector at Norris Honda passed so I reached out to the Honda Service Manager to let him know my concerns and he was very defensive and said its all subjective, which I'm not buying. He acted like they were doing me a favor for passing my car for these other issues another shop failed. For example my tint is illegal and didn't pass the inspection at the other shop but on Hondas inspection report it says N/A as if the car doesn't even have it. I'm not looking for a hand out or to be driving around illegal and have issues down the road so I would rather address it now. This other shop doesn't make any additional money for failing my car for tint either. I will have to remove it myself or take it to a place that will. They aren't charging a reinspection fee either. Oh and btw your Inspector also seems to think my car doesn't have power steering so he put N/A there too! All in all it was just a bad experience at the service center there and the Service Manager wasn't any help.

I had been looking for a reasonably price car for the last three months mostly through the internet. I went into David Wheeler to make an appointment for my wife's Honda Odyessy. While there I bumped into Greg Phillips a salesman I had known for a while. He asked if I was still looking for a vehicle? I was. I told him what I had been looking for was a hardtop/covertible. He advised they had just gotten one in and I should take a look. The vehicle was what I wanted. We test drove the vehicle and went back to the dealership. I advised at the time my wife had to see the vehicle before I would make a committment and we set up a time to come back. In the meantime he had taken my information for the paperwork. I located my wife sooner than the appt. and called Greg to advise we would be right back. He put a tag on the car again so my wife could take a ride. We came back did the paperwork, worked out a couple minor problems and agreed to pick up the vehicle in two hours. When we return Greg had had the car detailed, gassed and ready to go. John Ireland had all the paperwork ready and we were done in about thirty minutes. Both these gentlemen were as helpful and courteous as any could be. I would highly reccomend them to anyone in the area who was about to purchase a vehicle. The next day I had my wife's car serviced and the service in that dept. was also excellent.
