Tom Capps is certainly an asset to Heritage Cadillac. After a quick call to Tom in response to an email I received--he checked on Inventory & texted me back to advise me. We made an appointment for me to see the vehicle plus test drive a XT5. Within less than 36 hours, I had upgraded to a new a 2018 XT5. Tom knew all the upgraded features from SRX to the XT5-- his detailed hands on explanation of all the features in my new 2018--easy & simple to understand & use. I wasn't told to bring proof of insurance eventhough I had asked the sales assistant what was needed on my end to make the process be as hassle free and expedious when I came in. However, Frank Fiore was knowledgeable, thorough, and accommodating throughout the experience. i was very pleased with the Escalade's condition. It was better than the clear pics advertised online. The service department of this dealership is a joke, I'm having my car towed from there after they have failed to fix the car properly for the third time.
Each time they have had it, they break something else in the process. I'm not sure if this is a scam to keep getting more $$$ or what, needless to say I'm removing my car from their facility to have it repaired and all they work they claimed to do on it inspected as the shoddy workmanship performed by this dealer can't be trusted.
Mark the service manager, and Paul the service advisor could care less about customer satisfaction, perhaps they will care when the real boss asks the what happened when they have to respond to a court summons.

i was going to michigan from chicago and had a blowout on hwy i94 by exit 14 on a sunday i .drove non flat tire to get my self off road .called roadside and within a hour they sent kerry erwin from schepel cadillac to service my car .he was prompt informative and solved my problem with a replacement temp tire.he ordered a new one and instucted me to his place of employment (schepel) and told me he would call as soon as it came in which he did on monday. i made a appointment on tues. and when i arrived kerry was there to great me. my car was ready in 15 mins. (unreal.)this man went way of of his way to complete what was almost a disaster on a sunday.please recognize kerry erwin .he is a asset to your company

The buying process was long. It was a 2 hour wait to be seen by Mindy (who has sold cars to my parents in the past and the reason I was there)...not a big deal. Once she was able to see me, we sat and went over the usual credit application process. However, she hadn't completely finished the customer prior ("who was a friend"), so the aged Johnny Bravo hung around the cubicle as Mindy continued to ask personal questions (Income, social security #, the usual). Mindy never asked the customer to step away so that she could assist me. Not wanting to cause a problem, we went on with Mr. Bravo standing within ear shot. The rest of the buying process went smoothly. It ended with Mindy explaining to give them all "5 Star" ratings as soon as possible. Little did I know that the poor service came after you left the lot. The following week, my deposit was due, they ran the transaction and the funds was withdrawn from the account (Friday). On Saturday, I received a very rude voicemail from Alan Ducato, the Finance Director and another accusatory call from Mindy. I was humiliated for 3 days by these professionals. Finally on Monday, received an email from Alan stating they received the funds. No apology or anything after having my character attacked and being urged to bring the car back. Pompous, unprofressional and loan shark tactics is what you will get if you purchase a car from Hawk Chevy in Joliet, Il!

I scheduled an appointment via phone/Internet sales and showed up exactly on time. Sat Jan 20 at 915am. I was looking at a used corvette. This dealership is almost 1.5 hrs away from my home.
I was greeted promptly upon walking in and guided to a salesman named Dan. He was very pleasant and in no way is my rating based on Dan. He was 5/5 stars.
After Dan and I talked for a minute, we went to take a look at the corvette. I asked if it's okay if Dan can test drive the car for me since I'm not the best manual driver, he said it was no problem. 3 minutes later the manager comes out and says we cannot test drive because it's not at least 40 degrees outside. It was 38degrees!!!!!!!
He was dead serious. Apparently you can't test drive sports cars below 40 degrees. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THIS WHEN I SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT BEFORE COMING TO LOOK AT THE CAR.
I find it extremely hard to believe they don't test drive sports cars in less than 40 degree whether. How do you expect to sell camaros, corvettes, Chevy SS and other performance chevys for about half the year in Chicago? Crazy thing, I didn't even care to test drive it myself. I asked the salesman to! I was NOT looking for a joyride. I'm not that kind of guy.
Classic dealership games. I was stereotyped 100%. Yes, I'm younger looking and I walked in with denim and a workout sweater. But, I was a ready, willing and able buyer. I felt so disrespected (by managers, not by Dan).

Engine light went on in my 2010 Cadillac SRX with 60,500 miles, have extended warranty. They fixed timing chain. Less than 4 weeks later engine making horrible knocking noise and died. Dealer called, said engine "ate itself" and they were going to give me a whole new engine. 3 weeks later (after no word) they are now going to rebuild my engine, not replace it. Oops, someone goofed up. At least they gave me a loaner, a Chevy Malibu, though they had no record of it because they offered me a loaner again just last week! Better business bureau will be hearing from me as well as facebook campaign. Stay away! Still don't have vehicle back!

Jeremy T was our car salesman, and we had a wonderful experience buying a car from them. He was not pushy (we had been to a couple places that were beforehand), and he did everything he could to help us out. We love our vehicle, but you can honestly find a vehicle you love anywhere. What will keep us coming back was the excellent customer service Jeremy exhibited. Finding a car salesman like him is equivalent to finding a needle in a haystack.
