I needed a Buick Enclave to tow behind my motorhome next month. Had to be a 2017 because the adapters for towing 2018's won't be available from the towbar companies for some months. I am willing to pay for new cars because I drive them a long time and keep them maintained, and I don't want to take a chance on somebody else's problem used car. I was fussy about features and wanted a hard-to-find color combo. They found the exact car and bid a price more than $9,000 off MSRP. SOLD. Everyone was knowledgeable about the products, professional, and friendly. Everything went smoothly. Totally opposite the experience at popular foreign car dealers where they don't know the product (or pretend they don't), are unprofessional (even unethical) and rude.

I was long overdue for a new car. My recent car was 15 years old. I had been looking for a new car for the past year. Then, I happen to come across the 2018 GMC Terrain. This car really piqued my interest, so I decided to check it out at my nearest dealership, Castle. Upon walking in Castle, I was greeted by Louis Mathews. Louis Mathews showed me the car and was very thorough in explaining all the ins and outs of the car. I left with a 100% chance that I would get this car. Having been in the automobile business for 20+ years, I understand how quickly a deaerlship can lose a customer with a bad experience or how they can earn a customer for life with a good experience. This can be a service experience or a car buying experience. I am happy to say, I had a wonderfile experience. When I took my Hyundai to this dealership for service work, I could not have been happier with the outcome. Work that I had previously had done at another repair facility was still giving me trouble (after bringing it back 3 different times). So, I took my car to Fox Valley Buick since it is so close to my house. Not only was the work completed when promised, but it was done for quite a bit less money than I had paid for the same repairs prior. Mark, the service director, was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure that my car was fixed properly and was ready when promised. I will now bring my other 3 vehicles to this dealership for all my service needs. This place gives the worst customer service. They Pride themselves on being non commission sales staff but they're more like I don't give a care of sale staff. It takes them days if not weeks to respond to any questions or inquiries on a car and anything they tell you or promise you they don't give. I bought a car that only came with one key and when I asked for the second key they told me I would have to pay for it myself and the money they told me I would get off my car wasn't taken off, I was left paying more than what was agreed to. The new experience of buying a new car should be exciting and happy and said it was stressful and irritating don't waste your time or your money on this dealership

I am always pleased when I walk into the Chevy Dealership here in Dekalb,IL. Everyone is always nice and greet you at the door. I usually get help from Jason who takes care of my vehicle needs. He always give me options as to what I can do to take care of my car. Rather its choosing the most affordable tires or my vehicles future needs that I need to keep in mind. When my car Axel needed repair I couldn't afford it right away, and that's when Jason offered me a dealers car to get back and forth to work for the week. I really appreciated that! He encouraged me to take care of my important bills like my rent that was due the same day that my vehichle broke down,and to prioritize. I felt carefree because of Jason, knowing that he was doing everything that he could to help until I came up with the money I needed to repair my car. He took the stress and heavy burdens off of my shoulders, and I can't say that any other dealership have ever treated me that well! I recommend everyone I know to visit Dekalb Chevrolet. Whenever I come to get something as simple as an oil change these guys take care of me right away. My wait time is not long and my visits are always pleasant! The refreshments are great and I feel very comfortable walking into that place trusting that they will take care of my vehicle needs in the most fast and friendly way possible. Here is what defines Woody Buick -
Unresolved - 3 visits and 20 days at the dealer and the car is still not fixed!
Rude - What their service writers are to you when you bring your car back with the same problem.
Progress Updates – Not at Woody Buick! I would only get a call several days later letting me know the car was ready to be picked up.
Troubleshoot & Repair - Found the sensor with the problem and replaced it twice but it did not correct the problem. Instead of troubleshooting further to see if another module or an electrical problem could be causing the sensor to malfunction. They just gave the car back to me.
God – What Buick tech support thinks when they tell the service department “This is a normal operating condition” and all work stops on your car!
Qualified – Clearly their techs who worked on my car are not qualified. Found some extra screws in my cup holder that the tech forgot to put back in. Luckily I knew where the screws went and was able to reassemble the panel correctly. They are even unable to put the car back together correctly.
Customer Satisfaction – On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 1. Why a 1 and not a 0? They did give me a loaner….
Negative - My entire experience with Woody Buick has been nothing but negative. This has to be the most unprofessional dealer I have ever dealt with. If you want to avoid the headache and stress I have been put through. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO WOODY BUICK!!
Deplorable Treatment Of Established Customers - Angry Customer
I purchased a vehicle from the dealership. It was a 2005 Dodge Caravan. Unfortunately, It was not without problems. I was told that someone at the dealership took a check that I had written when she left. I had to put a stop payment on it and when I came back to make the final payment on my car, it was agreed that I could pay the final amount less the stop payment check fee. Interestingly enough, I received call about a balance due for that amount for at least a week after the sale was finalized. This should not have happened. Even so, I was still pleased with my vehicle so I decided to keep an option open for another car purchase.
I came on November 23, 2016 to look at a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer. After being given assurances that it was still in inventory, when I got there, the sales people claimed that it could not be located – which should have told me something. Even so, I was shown and drove a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer instead. I admit that it was a nice vehicle and I was interested in purchasing it. However, the salesman Walter was new and he said that he “needed to get one of the more experienced sales people involved.”
An African American man came over – I believe that his name was Kevin. I had dealings with him with the previous vehicle. However, what happened next was absolutely ridiculous. Please keep in mind that I intended to be a repeat customer. However, he “took a look” at my vehicle and told me that it was only worth somewhere around $500.00. he started to talk down to me because I told him that my wife wanted to look at the car that I intended to purchase first. He stated all of the work that would have to go into taking in my vehicle as a trade in, and could be worth more to his “friend” at another dealership,” but they would want my car right away.
I was SHOCKED! I told him that I could not commit to a purchase without my wife looking at the car and that I wanted to know how much my trade in was
worth – telling him multiple times that I never had a car before that I owned free and clear for a trade in value. He was further condescending by asking me repeatedly how much I thought it was worth. When I told him that I had no idea and he realized that HE was not going to make a sale – even though Walter was the assigned salesman – he just got up and walked away to another customer. Quite frankly, I am disgusted with this whole situation.
Extra effort should have been put forth because I am an established customer.
There is no way that my car is only worth $500.00 because I was intent on trading in a newer car against the older one that they wanted to sell to me.
The 2003 Lancer that I originally wanted is still listed in your inventory and a price difference should have been considered on my behalf because the 2002 car was not the one that I wanted.
And finally, they have shown me just how you treat established customers. Therefore, I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THEM AGAIN

I contacted the dealership a week ago about a used car that was in stock. I made an appointment on a Monday to come see it on a Tuesday. I called the dealership on Tuesday before traveling 3 hours to confirm that the car was not sold and was on the lot. The person I spoke with said it was on the lot and my appointment was on the calendar.
About 90 minutes into my drive, I receive a call from a salesperson telling me that the car was sold the day before (Monday). Apparently they didn't update their records properly is what I'm told. Mind you, I was told earlier in the day that the car was on hold for me and was ready for me to view it at my scheduled appointment.
How this happens is beyond me as with today's technology, inventory updates are pretty simple to do. Considering they wasted my time, I advise you do not waste your time and take your hard earned money to someone else that gives quality customer service. Terrible dealership and terrible service.
