We were in the market for the just released Nissan Leaf 2019. We aren't frequent buyers and are specific about what we want. Xochilt ("Sochi") worked with us over a few weeks to get us exactly what we wanted. She's was very polite and accomodating (especially with our 6 and 8 year old boys) through the whole process.
We've also had service done here on our older Versa and it's among the most organized and customer service oriented service stations I've ever used.
Definitely recommend this dealer and Xochilt.

I have been to a few dealers before coming to Zeigler Nissan and just the atmosphere of entering the showroom, everyone made you feel comfortable and asked multiple times if I needed anything which the employees along with John Kowalczyk made me feel comfortable and at ease during my buying experience. McGrath Nissan "Elgin" Sales people are very rude - unprofessional. Selling is not for everyone, they must review the hiring criteria or how the business is being run.
I had a call with one of their sales representatives called "Sam", I was asking about 2019 Nissan Altima and told him if that car is available with $XXXX amount of dollars, he said YES, I asked him many times and made sure that I will not drive form more than an hour and he told me YES, just bring your down payment.
I got shocked when I arrived their and found that the actual price is higher than we agreed by $6000.
He told me that I said YES to let you come :)
Most people think sales is easy. It's NOT.
He even didn't say "Sorry" !!!

HIGHLY ANGRY. Got off work at 7, and drove clear from Aurora to check out and test drive a 20007 Malibu that they had in stock and matched my budget and expectations. After dealing with traffic and arriving at 8:30 (they close at 9) I am told they all the sudden can't find the car and that I should just go down the street to the Chevy dealership! If you are looking for a vehicle, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. They are misleading and/or flat out liars, and obviously very unorganized. Would rate a 0 if I could.

Don't buy used vehicles from jp chevy in Peru il.
We bought 2009 dodge journey in January of this year for 8100 dollars. They told my fiance that since they was selling so cheap that it had no warranty but to be assured their skilled mechanics checked hole vehicle and everything works. Day one found out no heat in car and they sent her to giavonni which ended up costing 270 to flush heater cores still no heat and to find out the brakes were bad on vehicle which didn't have money to fix. Day 3 of owning it gas line exploded from were it had been taped 127 dollars to fix since then alternator 500 battery from jp chevy 143 which still has to be jumped had tested else where and everyone says same thing bad battery but jp says good battery why should we trust them when they said their mechanics checked every thing . The passenger side tire caught on fire the the caliper locked up we called jp chevy to see if they could least let us do payment to fix they said they would let us no but they never did so we had to have no vehicle till we had money to fix 450 dollars to fix caliper brake pads and brake lines. This vehicle has been a lemon and they knew it was when they sold it. I go in today to have battery tested again because it's always dead and battery is under warranty they tell me it's gonna be 120 to look at it and they think it's a parasitic draw that's killing battery so did they sell us a battery when we didn't need one. They are all about taking peoples money but when something ain't right and they should do the right thing like not sell a vehicle with no heat and bad brakes. Just shows how crooked they are. Giavonni told me they would never sell a car with no heat and brake problems but places like jp chevy don't care cause they are bigger and don't have to satisfy every customer. Never will I do business with jp and would never recommend them to anyone
