Great, fair prices on vehicles, friendly staff. Vehicle purchased in Ohio from PA resident. I was not informed that the car would need to be PA inspected, my insurance agent was not notified of purchase. Felt kind of rushed out the door without proper information.

I stopped here already knowing the used vehicle I wanted so that took some of the complexity out of the equation. My salesperson insisted that I test drive the vehicle despite me being comfortable buying it without doing so. She also had absolutely no hesitation in agreeing to help me return my rental car after the sale was complete. The purchase process went ok, although I did have to go back to sign an extra paper that was overlooked the first time. If I HAD to pick something wrong I would say the finance manager was a little too pushy with the extended warranty/protection plan they were offering. I decided to get it, but I had already said no a few times and I would have appreciated them not pushing quite so hard on that. Other than that I had a great experience and would certainly buy from them again.

Buyers beware, would not purchase from here. They lied on my income to get me approved for a loan that they knew I couldn’t afford (without my permission), didn’t get copies of my paystubs or anything, then realizing that I had made a mistake with accepting a loan that wasn’t in my budget, they refused to give me my old vehicle back, so they sent me off in another car that was too much money because it was “either that or nothing”. Then I called again to request a refund and cancellation, then was told I might be able to if I let them keep $1600-1700 in the repairs made on my old vehicle. I told them yes that would be fine, then I receive another email later saying that they want $1700 PLUS 25% restocking fee BECAUSE OTHER COMPANIES CHARGE THAT. They essentially tried to extort money out of me for a return they have the ability to do for 10 days after your purchase date. I have filed a BBB complaint and have contacted Hyundai’s corporate management and this situation is under investigation. Wouldn’t recommend anyone shop here.

Sold us a car they didn’t own !!!!! - So disappointed
After shopping for a Car for 6 weeks we finally found the exact car that fit all of our needs. We were happy it was at Elyria Hyundai as we had started our search there and it was close to home. We chose a 2015 Hyundai Sante Fe sport, located on the used lot, we agreed to pay the asking price on the sign in the window. We Put a $500.00 deposit down on the car over the phone and set up a pick up appointment for the following day. The day we were scheduled to pick up the car I contacted our salesman to make sure everything was in order with the Carfax and I would like to make sure the car is detailed. I was assured everything would be taken care of. So, this is where things get very unethical if not illegal. And certainly without any concern for customer service. Upon arrival to pick up the car, we are informed by the Sales manager, not our sales person who was in the building but would not confront us, that they could not sell us the car! When we asked why, he informed us they did not even own the vehicle !!!! They allegedly had failed to purchase it from Hyundai after it was turned in from the lease. This car had been on the lot for a week, I found it on their website, I went and drove it and had numerous conversations with the salesman. When I asked “ how in the world does this happen and how often “ they responded Never! So it gets even more interesting. The car was still on the lot, they couldn’t tell me where it was going, they had no interest in helping us get the car from whoever owned it. We found out that the deposit we paid was never processed! The salesman wrote down our credit card number at home and forgot to process it when he got to work, that’s illegal I believe. The best part came when the sales manager told us that they hadn’t bought the car back from Hyundai because they were hoping to transfer it from the previous owner to us to avoid paying sales tax ? Since when does a dealer pay sales tax on cars they purchase??? And if that’s the case I think they call that title jumping, also illegal. Bottom line, they didn’t care one bit that we showed up to pick up the car we had been looking for for 6 weeks, not one concern to make things right. It was such an unbelievable experience you thought they had to be joking. I still can’t get over the ignorance of the dealership and staff. My gut feeling is a family friend wanted the car and we only got the shaft! There are way too many dealerships with integrity to waste your time here.

Do NOT go to this dealership!!!! Horrible experience buying not one but two used vehicles both of which ended up needing new transmissions and despite their claims the vehicles had been thoroughly inspected by their service department. Lies!! My vehicle hadn’t even had it’s oil changed or washer fluid filled. One week after I brought my car home it Wouldnt start amongst other things! We escalated to GM Kyle who promised to make things right and then when it came time he refused to do so. Worst experience we have ever had and anyone who chooses to shop there should note BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
