Great Experience at Crestmont - Isa
This was our second experience with Dave Choike and he did not let us down. He found exactly the car we wanted and at the price we could afford. He is humorous yet professional and caring. He made us feel comfortable right away. He definitely knows about the vehicles he sells. Crestmont Hyundai has a very good group of people. We highly recommend this dealership.

The Frost family picked a Fun day to buy a Hyundai - jfrosty04
Great experience by getting the exact equipment that I/we needed and the cleanliness of the vehicle was fantastic. I /we liked that the vehicle was on the showroom floor waiting for us on our arrival. Great touch.Even let us borrow a big Ribbon to take home for the day to surprise our daughter for her car.
Close to perfect. - pughcountry1
There's always room for improvement so I guess I would say, " reduce the paperwork." Otherwise, it was an easy transition from the Sonata to the Tuson.
2018 Hyundai Santa Fe - Tyrese21
I never thought I would walk out with a new vehicle. Mark really made sure I was comfortable and explained everything to me about my purchase. I would definitely recommend Mark to my friends and family when buying an vehicle. I will also continue to work with Mark when its time for me to upgrade. Thanks Mark for your exceptional service and also Monique who was also a great help.
Safety is not a concern here - scootr68
I will start off mentioning that the salesman Paul was very cordial and friendly. Now I digress...we went to look at a used 2007 Honda Accord for our 17 year old son. I understand it was a $4500 car but let's get one thing straight...used or not the rear brakes should not be 3mm or less, and the right rear caliper should not be frozen. How do I know?...because the rotor had a rusted face whereas the other rotors were nice and shiny. The front brake pads were brand new....why not replace the rear brake pads?Secondly, the headlights were so badly hazed that during the test drive I had to keep asking if the lights were on. It may seem trivial but even the dome light was inoperable...I think that is a safety concern as well. In this day and age when you unlock doors you want to see the inside and make certain there's no one in the vehicle. A bulb is like what? 5 bucks at the very most. The Carfax said they inspected the vehicle...who inspected it? Stevie Wonder? The driver side wiper was shot, could not see through the freezing rain left behind every time it swiped. I understand it's an as-is vehicle but people are putting their kids behind the wheels of these type vehicles. You couldn't be bothered to spend less than $100 to fix these issues? That speaks volumes as to how much you really care about anything other than your bottom line.
Very good sales experience - Chris Boyer
I stopped here already knowing the used vehicle I wanted so that took some of the complexity out of the equation. My salesperson insisted that I test drive the vehicle despite me being comfortable buying it without doing so. She also had absolutely no hesitation in agreeing to help me return my rental car after the sale was complete. The purchase process went ok, although I did have to go back to sign an extra paper that was overlooked the first time. If I HAD to pick something wrong I would say the finance manager was a little too pushy with the extended warranty/protection plan they were offering. I decided to get it, but I had already said no a few times and I would have appreciated them not pushing quite so hard on that. Other than that I had a great experience and would certainly buy from them again.
2019 velositor - Cdott2000
I purchased a 2019 velositor and can’t express how wonderful Vaughn and everyone involved with my purchase. The service department is top notch and the nicest group of guys.
New Purchase - Jack
Just bought a Hyundai Santa Fe from Nick Vaidean . This is my second purchase from Nick in the last 18 months and this experience was just as good, if not better then my first. Nick's total knowledge of product line and laid back demeanor made the normally onerous task of buying a new car a good experience. This, coupled with the entire sales and service staff experience with my first car, guarantees that I'll continue to be a Classic legacy customer.
Service with some smiles! - Ernestine

awesome buying experience - Kristi13
I stopped in to Great Lakes Hyundai a few weeks ago to pick someone up while their car was in service. I had absolutely no intentions of buying a new car that day since, even though I needed one, it just wasn't in my budget yet. Less than fifteen minutes later I ended up giving them my information to run a credit check to see what kind of financing I could possibly get while we ran out for breakfast. Shaq was incredibly great at working with me and understanding that I did have a really strict budget that I would need to follow in order to make any kind of purchase happen. He ended up getting me a really great deal on a 2015 Kia Sportage and the dealership was able to give me a lot more in trade for the car I currently had than I ever would have hoped for. I honestly can't say that I have anything negative to say about the experience, and I'd really recommend both the dealership and Shaq to anyone looking for a car.

I have only bought vehicles from the guys at Baumanns. They are quick and professional. Always take care of me and find exactly what I want.
Sold us a car they didn’t own !!!!! - So disappointed
After shopping for a Car for 6 weeks we finally found the exact car that fit all of our needs. We were happy it was at Elyria Hyundai as we had started our search there and it was close to home. We chose a 2015 Hyundai Sante Fe sport, located on the used lot, we agreed to pay the asking price on the sign in the window. We Put a $500.00 deposit down on the car over the phone and set up a pick up appointment for the following day. The day we were scheduled to pick up the car I contacted our salesman to make sure everything was in order with the Carfax and I would like to make sure the car is detailed. I was assured everything would be taken care of. So, this is where things get very unethical if not illegal. And certainly without any concern for customer service. Upon arrival to pick up the car, we are informed by the Sales manager, not our sales person who was in the building but would not confront us, that they could not sell us the car! When we asked why, he informed us they did not even own the vehicle !!!! They allegedly had failed to purchase it from Hyundai after it was turned in from the lease. This car had been on the lot for a week, I found it on their website, I went and drove it and had numerous conversations with the salesman. When I asked “ how in the world does this happen and how often “ they responded Never! So it gets even more interesting. The car was still on the lot, they couldn’t tell me where it was going, they had no interest in helping us get the car from whoever owned it. We found out that the deposit we paid was never processed! The salesman wrote down our credit card number at home and forgot to process it when he got to work, that’s illegal I believe. The best part came when the sales manager told us that they hadn’t bought the car back from Hyundai because they were hoping to transfer it from the previous owner to us to avoid paying sales tax ? Since when does a dealer pay sales tax on cars they purchase??? And if that’s the case I think they call that title jumping, also illegal. Bottom line, they didn’t care one bit that we showed up to pick up the car we had been looking for for 6 weeks, not one concern to make things right. It was such an unbelievable experience you thought they had to be joking. I still can’t get over the ignorance of the dealership and staff. My gut feeling is a family friend wanted the car and we only got the shaft! There are way too many dealerships with integrity to waste your time here.
Downright scary if this is truly "standard practice"! - Eos Fan
Too bad there's not a way to give a review of "ZERO stars"...
My 84 year old father purchased a used vehicle from this dealership a week ago and deposited $500 cash toward the full amount. It was agreed that he would pay for and pick up the car the following weekend. Unfortunately, my mom didn't like the car, but instead of canceling the sale, my dad and I went back to the dealer then next business day and spoke with a person in the finance department who was handling the paperwork notifying her that I will be purchasing the car instead. She switched the deal over to my name, took my information, driver's license copy, SSN, and re-wrote the deal in my name. The dealership kept the deposit and the vehicle pick-up/payment arrangements stayed the same as the original purchase.
The dealership manager texted me on Thursday afternoon and I verified that I will be paying the balance and picking up the vehicle as originally agreed-upon.
When I went up to pick up the car, the manager informed me that the car was sold to someone else because that I had not paid in full for the vehicle when the deal was first made. A second manager also insisted that this is standard practice at all dealerships--i.e. that the "paperwork" and the cash deposit do not bind them to sell that same vehicle to me. I showed him the sales contract that had the specific vehicle information (serial number, make, model, year) as well as my personal information (name address, SSN, Dr Lic #), and the managers both insisted that none of that matters at all. They said that a deal is not binding until I pay the last dollar owed on that contract and that they are entitled to sell the vehicle to anyone at any time before I pay the balance.
As strange as this assertion seems to me, I might've even been able to work with that restriction if I were notified of this stipulation. I also would've expected some sort of notification from the dealer that they had another individual interested in purchasing it and that they were verifying my intent to complete the purchase and pick up the car on the day that it was pre-arranged.
My suspicion is that this really IS NOT "standard practice" after all--AND that they sold the car out from under me to someone else for a higher price. Hyundai of Bedford is "case-in-point" for why auto dealerships have earned the frequently-heard moniker: "stealerships"!
If anyone is contemplating purchasing a used vehicle from Hyundai of Bedford, BEWARE! They told me that they don't prefer cash deals--they prefer to make additional money on the sale via dealership financing options. This may be what motivates them to treat cash buyers like me so poorly.
I am contacting the Ohio Attorney General's office to have them look into this.
