I visited the dealership for a new car buying and my negotiations did not work out. I was still looking for better price from the same dealership. Then came along Stephen Bennet, who replied in email based on my search online. Not only did Stephen give me a very fair price up-front, he promised that he would honor that price when I came in to see him....no dealership games. I also specifically asked him the exterior and interior color I am looking for.
Stephen was completely honest and informed me beforehand that a Accord in the color I wanted was still in transit to the dealership. He made the car available on the specified date amd I reached the dealership. As soon as he greeted me, he got right down to business and started pulling paperwork. He wasted no time in showing me the purchase order listing the exact price I asked for with no strings attached, no shenanigans, and no hidden or extra fees tacked on. After he handed me off to the finance office, things went just as smoothly. They did not try and sell me a single extra thing that I did not want.
After finishing in the finance office, Stephen then took me outside to my new Honda Accord!
This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever been through. Stephen was up-front, honest, and stuck to his word. I would highly recommend Stephen and Huggins Honda!

In my search for a car I was referred by friends to a used car dealer that only dealt in late model cars. I was also considering new cars, so I had done a search on truecar.com and received several responses - one from Jesse and Reagan at David McDavid Honda. It was a Saturday morning, and I was about to leave to go to the other place, when Jesse followed up with me with a phone call. I decided to make a "quick stop" by McDavid Honda in Irving before heading to the other dealer, with the intent of ruling them out. Well, I was wrong.
The deal they had on a new car was better than what I was looking at on a late model used, saving me significant money with the interest rate they were able to secure for me. Jesse and his Finance Manager, Taylor, were wonderful to work with. They were no-pressure, understood my needs and desires, and worked hard to accommodate all my requests.
I left that day with a new Honda HR-V, and never even made it to the other dealership. I am very happy with my initial experience with McDavid, and will certainly consider them for my future vehicle needs.
I'm new to Texas, and am a long time Honda owner. I was pleased to see the integrity I experienced with other Honda dealers in other parts of the company was just as prevalent at McDavid Honda.

Extended warranty cancellation - Darwin
I traded in my Honda 2016 CR-V in South Florida that I have bought from Freeman Honda and I've contacted Freeman Honda to have cancel my extended warranty, they've asked all the information that they needed and after several weeks they have done nothing.
I been calling for several weeks to speak with any one in finance department even I have left messages and not luck, honestly I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with this service, sorry Honda company but this is not the way to treat a customer that just recently bought 2 brand new Honda vehicles.
Very disappointed and very upset for this situation and I hope that someone from high level office could read this.

Was in the market for a new car for my family. Test drove a few makes and models of SUV's and kept coming back to the Pilot since my family has had little to no troubles with Honda's in the past. Since I knew exactly what I wanted and the budget I wanted to keep, I felt I didn't need to spend a whole day in a dealership. Since the Pilot felt great driving, I knew exactly what I wanted as far as trim level, colors, warranties, pricing, etc. I noticed that there was quite a few new 2017 Pilots still on various lots around the metroplex. I had no issues with a car manufactured last year since the 2018 had not changed and the warranties still began the same day I drove off the lot. I figured these dealerships would love to sell me one of these to make space for a current year. I reached out to five different Honda dealerships in the DFW area to obtain best pricing. I was amazed that only one dealership would send me any quotes and do any kind of serious negotiations online. A sales rep from one dealership would only tell me if I was in the" ballpark" to a price I wanted in an email but never gave me a price. The same rep began texting me and I advised him I was not coming to the dealership until we spoke of hard price online. I was advised it was against the dealership policy to do any negotiations online and could not send any quotes. A sales manager from the same dealership followed up by sending me a couple of text messages, I told him the same thing I needed a hard price to work off of. He asked me what my price was, his response was only a range of $5-6K more the price I knew was good and fair, that was not in the my "Ballpark". Thankfully I did not waste my time and energy initially going to that dealership, I am pretty sure I would not have been a happy camper with a final price. Burleson Honda had no issues with sending me multiple quotes, going back and forth until both parties came to an agreement. Was also able to handle all of the financing online. I simply showed up to the dealership, drove the vehicle around the block, signed papers with the sales rep and finance manager, and drove away happy. The process took a little over an hour to complete in person. I understand dealerships still prefer for customers to show up in person for the complete sales process but in today's technology, consumers can do all the research before stepping foot in a dealership at a much quicker pace and more thoroughly. Pricing comparisons, dealership reviews, financing, car reviews are all available online for consumers to review simply by going to a search engine. If I know exactly what I want and know what is a good price, there shouldn't be much wasted time and energy dealing with a dealership. The longest part should be the test drive! Thank you Burleson Honda for making my car buying experience very positive, I look forward to dealing with you again in the near future.
Unprofessional and Rude - qsarkies
Don't waste your time here. These people are EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I called about a used car they had and, since I live a couple hours away, set up an appointment. Assuming that they would at least hold the car until my appointment time, (they failed to mention that they wouldn't hold it), I headed there. I arrived nearly an hour early for my appointment and THEY HAD ALREADY SOLD THE CAR! Wouldn't it be common courtesy to call me and let me know that they were selling the car? Yes, of course, but they didn't bother! When I arrived and found out I had just wasted two and a half hours worth of gas for no reason at all, I asked to see the manager. Of course then they try to sell me something else that's almost double the price, appraise my truck for $1000 BELOW blue book trade in value, and refuse to budge at all on the price of the second used vehicle. These people are highly unprofessional. The salesperson I ended up looking at the second car with was also rude. She made it sound like I was being ridiculous for expecting them to hold a vehicle for an appointment.
I wouldn't have been upset if they had told me when I set up the appointment that they had a first come first serve policy, but of course they did not.

I took my 2006 Honda Odyssey in for what I thought was a valve problem. I described the clicking noises to Craig Baker and he had me bring in my van in the evening so that it could be evaluated upon a cold start up. Later the next day, Mr. Baker called me and gave me a detailed evaluation of the noise. He was up front, straight to the point, and didn't try to over sell. On one issue, I stated that I would get it done later, as it wasn't as imperative. He didn't try to cajole or argue; and he didn't make me feel stupid. The estimate given to me didn't have any hidden costs, and my van was ready when promised. Thank you for doing an excellent job, Mr. Baker.
Deceitful sales reps - K
Went there on a Saturday to look at a car which was on their website while I was there. The rep I met with was Ahmed - be wary of this person, deceitful and cheating. I would have been ok if the deal wouldn't have worked out. What bothered me was having to spend 2 hours and him making all kinds of excuses why he couldn't show me the course, and trying to sell me something I didn't want.
