Nice Used Car Purchase Experiance - JohnW
Spent a week negotiating with Tom on a non-GM used car. Throughout the experience he was available, helpful, patient and willing to deal. He helped me organize taking their car off-site for a pre-purchase inspection and then addressed all and any issues and questions I had. Good experience and I ended up buying a sweet vehicle.

the best car buying experience around - KMoz
Gus at Superior Buick was nothing but amazing. He was so courteous and professional. I had previously been working with another dealer and my experience was less than favorable, I drove the extra 20 miles to see Gus and he blew them out of the water. He gave me an awesome trade in price, was able to get me in an upgraded vehicle with everything I wanted. He was so accommodating to what I wanted, and I even picked my car up same day. I will never go to another dealership, it is clear why they are top rated in Michigan. Kind, courteous, professional, and they want your business.
AMAZING! - jbowes22
Leaun was my salesman and he was the best salesman I've ever had. They weren't pushy or annoying like some other dealerships. Everyone was helpful and wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They searched for the exact vehicle and I got it! I was so happy with the vehicle and service of the dealership. I will only be coming to this dealership from now on.

Give a shot out to Jeff Jaruzel our salesman who had everything done and ready for my husband to pick up his new truck on way home from work. He was in/out and the truck was ready for him. He loves his new truck and the service he received during the deal. Jeff worked to get us the payment we were looking for! Thank you!!

I learned a long time ago not to go anywhere else if I wanted my money to count in keeping my vehicle in good shape! Every penny counts at Groulx! I keep a vehicle from 5 to 10 years! I get my money's worth from the vehicle! Group makes that possible!
Outstanding Service - Adam H
My experience with LaFontaine GMC Highland was Great! Exceptional staff and Great customer service. My salesman was Zack Hinsperger. Zack was not only knowledgeable about the trucks, but extremely courteous and professional! The whole Team at LaFontaine were true professionals! The whole process from my initial contact with Emily Clancy, through finalizing the deal with Doug Lynch was truly an exceptional process. It was a pleasure working with Zack and purchasing a new GMC Sierra from LaFontaine GMC Highland. Truly an exceptional sales Team and experience.

Got me in quickly as I didn’t have an appointment and they were done within an hour or so. Plus I had a free oil change which I didn’t know about!
Worst customer service ever - ERamateur hour
Previously purchased a new vehicle from this dealership. Was looking to purchase another vehicle from them. The first visit waited for over two hours with no sales rep able to assist so I left. Returned a couple of weeks later and the same thing. Was told a sales rep would assist. He spoke with me and said he was with another customer. Waited two hours for no results. This place is a joke and will not get my business.
Very good service and nice people - Hottub2611

Quick and easy process!! - Ddeaton
My sales person was Aaron Hawley and the sales manager was Josh Gordon these two guys were the best. I did most of my dealing over the phone or email. As soon as i got to the dealer ship all I had to do is sign and drive and give them my keys to my older SUV for the trade. It was so quick. I would definitely come back for our next vehicle. They are worth the 1hr drive.
Thank you so much
Very Easy & Quick New Vehicle Purchase - Stormy
I went in on Wednesday to test drive a few different vehicles. By Thursday evening I had the exact vehicle I was looking for with all the options I wanted and I was on my way. I feel I received a good trade in amount for my current vehicle and Cher, our salesperson, was able to locate the exact Acadia (Color & Options) that I wanted and do a Dealer Trade all within just over 24 hours. I couldn't be happier!

$4,500 repair on a $8,000 car owned 4 days!! - regal301
I purchased a used "As-Is" vehicle, 2010 Ford Taurus, from Shelton GMC on February 20th, 2018. As I drove the vehicle during the test drive I noticed a slight hesitation that I brushed off as a need for new spark plugs as the vehicle had 110,000 miles on it. I assumed, at this point, that had there been anything more serious the Dealership would surely disclose this. As I do with ALL my vehicles, I performed several preventative maintenance services on the vehicle. One such service was a Fuel System Cleaning that was performed the day of purchase, Feb 20th. The Fuel System Cleaning I performed was one that is designed for this specific type of engine, Gasoline Direct Injection engine. The next few days the vehicle still had the hesitation during acceleration. This was extremely noticeable when accelerating to merge into expressway traffic, note that I purchased the vehicle in an unfamiliar area, approximately 1 hour away from my home and had not the chance to drive it on an expressway during the test drive. On Saturday February 24th, I drove the vehicle to the grocery store at approximately 10:00am. Upon driving home from the grocery store the vehicle ceased to accelerate at all and within approximately a half mile the vehicle struggled to stay idle at all. I coasted into a parking lot and began to inspect the vehicle to attempt to determine why. Ultimately I had the vehicle towed to the nearest repair facility open on Saturday, Muffler Man in Davison, MI. Muffler Man was convinced that it may have been an electrical issue and advised that it was outside the realm of their expertise. I then had the vehicle towed to my home to await Monday morning. On Monday Feb 26th, I towed the vehicle to "All Automotive Repair" in Flint, MI. All Automotive was able to determine that the catalytic converters were completely clogged. Not only were the converters clogged to the point that the engine would not run but pieces of the converters "exploded" apart and clogged the remainder of the exhaust (the resonator was clogged with pieces). Catalytic Converters do not clog within a few days and a few hundred miles nor does a Fuel System Cleaning clog them. These converters had been clogged to the extent of causing hesitation prior to my purchasing the vehicle and an Engine Code had most certainly come on for it. Converters will give an Engine Code (usually P0420) even when they BEGIN to under-perform. I had contacted the dealer on numerous occasions, left several voicemail messages and nobody called me back. I finally spoke to someone when I visited their website the night of Monday Feb 26th and clicked on their online "chat". Upon which I was contacted at 9:50pm by "Cal" (I believe his name was) who is the Service Manager. I explained my situation to the Service Manager and he told me that he would get someone to contact me the following morning. Still I received no phone call until I left a message with the Service Manager, he called me back a few hours after the message. Upon speaking with the Service Manager he preceded to site all the preventative maintenance items I had performed and explained that there were "..no notes anywhere in their service notes that shows a Check Engine light was on..". The Service Manager then continued to tell me that "...we are a GM dealership we wouldn't have the right tool to reset that on a Ford..". This small deception is what cemented my concern that not only were the converters a known issue by the dealer but that they were about to leave me out to dry with them. ANY OBDII scan-tool can read/clear ANY vehicle with OBDII (i.e., every car in the U.S.). I eventually spoke with the Sales Manager, David Lee, as well who, again, also quoted the deception of the scan-tool. The extent that the Sales Manager, David Lee, or anyone, wanted to "help" was to try to get a discount on parts for me to purchase. I eventually spoke with the General Manager, Drew Cook, who also offered no resolution. I have since reported this dealer to the Better Business Bureau and am seeking to submit a complaint to General Motors customer relations.
maybe my 14k pre-approved loan wasn't enough...for you. - Ms.Johnson_upgrading
This dealership would not let me view the inside of the cars that interested me...I WAS NOT A STRANGER TO THIS DEALERSHIP...THEY HAD ALL MY INFORMATION ON FILE AND MY ID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They treated me as if I were a known miscreant or a criminal. Then the (finance) manager called me back ((I noticed that you ran my credit)) trying to find out if there was anything he could do. "No thank you." The next day the sales agent called. IF PEOPLE NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE YOUR VEHICLES THEN SAY THAT, OTHERWISE IT WOULD SEEM AS THOUGH YOUR STAFF HAS A PARTICULAR BIAS. Don't shop here.
Key Still Sticks in Ignition After 4 Repairs - drgolf
Recently my 2007 Pontiac Torrent has had a problem with the key being unable to turn to the Lock position and I have trouble removing my key after turning the car off. I've had it in at Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Westland and they first replaced the Ignition Lock Cylinder and Ignition Switch and said it was fixed. It wasn't, no change. I took it back and they replaced the gear shift linkage and an ignition actuator. They said it was fixed. It wasn't, the key still sticks in the ignition when turning the car off half the time. So after around $600 in repairs I've got no improvement. I've emailed a customer service rep with no response in a week. At this point I cannot recommend this dealer for service.
service was not completed correctly two times - Gil
First time had oil change and tire rotation, I have a 2015 acaida they only put 24lbs of pressure in all tires I noticed all were low and they had to bring it back in to put pressure of 35lbs in all tires. Second time oil change filter and tire rotation they did not rotate tires but said they did, I know that they did'nt rotate them because one of my tires has a blimsh in it that's how i figured it out then had to take it back to have the tires rotated. Talk to Mr. Zuber but all he could talk about was the blimsh on my tire.

I felt like I wasn't taken seriously. Let me break it... - gventro
I felt like I wasn't taken seriously. Let me break it down for you: I found the add on cars.com and was hoping to make a purchase. We get there and we ask for a man named Rob, who we spoke with on the phone. He said he would be there and we gave him a ball park of what would could realistically afford after my previous car was just totaled. We tell him the offer and he said it was very reasonable and to come on out today and ask for him. He wasn't there. We then met David Lee, who we explained the situation to, he brought the car up and let us take it for a spin. He seemed all right. We then get back and we are then shuffled off to Lee. He didn't introduce himself, he dismissed all my suggestions for possibly improving the car before we take it home (fixing the cupholder in the back that was broken, his reply was yeah we'll see [you're a GM dealership you should be able to fix a GM] brand, and steam cleaning the stains out of the seats). He dismissed our concerns about the tires, which looked less than 25% life in the back and roughly 50% in the front, if putting new ones on it was an option, he shrugged it off. We then get down and give him an offer and he said that they won't go any lower than what their asking. We offered within a few hundred dollars of the asking price and were going to pay cash. We said we couldn't afford that. He didn't offer to meet us part way, he didn't offer to show us any other vehicles he could come down on.
When I bought my car (may she rest in peace) I was greeted by a handful of people who couldn't wait to get my business. Not here.
It was a pretty awful experience. I'm in my mid 20s, I might be a young guy, but last I checked, you're a salesman, it's your job to SELL cars. People need cars. We test drove two of similar value and he didn't even offer a solution with that. It's not my job as a consumer to ask. It's the sellers job to try and get a car in my hand with what we have to offer.
I might go back because they do have a lot of nice stock, but I won't deal with any of the salesman mentioned above, just management because they clearly don't know anything about making a customer happy.
They tried to rip me off - Bullett24
The finance guy and the salesmen undervalued my trade in, and over priced the car they wanted to sell me. Even after I told them I was disabled living on 18K a year they pushed and pushed to close a terrible deal. I have nothing against someone making a living and a company making a profit but anyone who tries to rip off the disabled deserves that special place down under where it's hot.
The salesmen tried to tell me they set prices by Kelly Blue Book. I checked the blue book value and when I told him that he then all of a sudden would not discuss prices over the phone.
