Recall and oil change - mivey2010
Received very good service from Steven Hernandez. He was very thorough and answered my questions. Took a bit for them to bring out my vehicle when I picked it up but other than that was good service.
Helpful Honest Sales staff and Management - Joe
I have purchased many vehicles over the past 40 plus years and I can't recall at any other dealerships the excellent customer service I was given. My salesman, Cesar Oliveira went beyond the call to help me select the vehicle I wanted. Even though he told me he had only been working at Ron Carter for two days, I would not have known it. It was evident that had previous sales experience and I thank the dealership for hiring such quality personnel. I purchased a Promaster 3500 cargo van from Cesar that had all the equipment I was looking for. There was no pressure from Cesar or the dealership to purchase from them. I also want to give credit to Santo Cabrera, the Sales Manager for his assistance in making my experience pleasant. If you are looking for a new vehicle, I highly recommend Ron Carter and Cesar Oliverira. TELL THEM JOE SENT YOU!!!

Finnegan Chrysler Jeep Dodge review - Officer Griffin
We went to Finnegan to look at a Chrysler 300 that they had in stock. Mike Todd, our salesman, was straight up, and honest. He gave us our options based on our credit worthiness and we were able to make a decision without having to come back at a later date. We are very pleased with the service and would recommend this experience to others. Thank you Mike for the good visit and the lack of pressure. We appreciate that very much.
Sales people - Hernandez, avonna

Great Service - JFlinn1980
They have a very helpful and friendly staff that gets the job done quickly. The vehicles are over priced in my opinion but that’s just the way it is nowadays.
First Jeep purchase - Joe K.
Quite possibly the fastest car purchase I've ever made! Who doesn't dread the time it takes to purchase a vehicle?....Well, for a Saturday purchase, these guys nailed it in under two hours; un-heard of!
On another note; to anyone interested in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I highly recommend at least going to view / test drive. I've never owned a Mopar product prior to now however, they have my business moving forward as the vehicle purchased is loaded with numerous features that are non-existent on comparable mid-size suv's.
Best car buying experience !!! - Awalker28
I drove 2 hours to come to Winnie Dodge and it did not disappoint. Jason Roberts, my salesman was awesome! Got me the truck I wanted with all my aftermarket request with no hassling. It was an awesome experience buying a vehicle from him. Financing department was wonderful to work with. All in all I was in and out of the dealership in an hour. I will be back for future purchases
Crooked!! - MofTSC
Bought a used vehicle here. Has been in the shop 3 times in the 3 weeks that we have had it. The guy above all the salesman is so rude and made every experience feel like it was our fault and talked down to us. He got called out on his crooked lies at the end of it. We will NEVER do business with them again. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with the guy. One guy ruined it all. Oh and the rental they set us up for? Closes before we can even get there.
POSITIVE EXPERIENCES FOR SEVERAL YEARS - Jeep
We have bought our last several cars from Bounds. Knowing the family gave us confidence we were in good hands. Anytime there seemed to be a glitch, it was quickly tended to and corrected. All seven cars were well priced and we got good trades for our old cars. My husband died and I am about to embark on a new car search. Even though I now live in the Hill Country, I'm probably going back to Bounds. I know I can trust them and they will do me right.
deceptive bait and switch - billn
I've used Ron Carter for years for both service and new car purchases, but times have changed for the worse. These days a lot of shopping is done via internet, and then the purchase is completed in person at the dealer. In my case, the salesperson emailed a window sticker for the car I was looking for, but when I arrived at the dealer to finalize the sale, the car we discussed was "not available". Tony said he had others, but clearly the setup was a deception to trick me into coming to the dealership to sell me on another car. Trickery and deceit might sell some cars, but it's not a good success strategy. Beware and triple check to be sure they really have the car you discussed, so you won't be a victim of a bait and switch.
Awesome - MO82
We were able to get exactly what we wanted!! Everyone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The finance process at most dealerships are usually overwhelming to me, but this one was a beeeze. I left there knowing exactly what I purchased.
Where to start....... - chris.nelson12
Where to start..... I was so excited to be able to order a new Dodge Demon from Clear Lake Dodge in Webster Texas; unfortunately the entire process after taking my deposit was a terrible experience. It all started with the salesman (Mark Harder) making promises he could not keep and not communicating with me. I was promised to have the car by the first week of January and it did not arrive until April, I understand that delays in production are out of Mark’s control but keeping the customer updated should have happened. Every time I would call Mark for an update he could not give me any information and each time called me back thinking I was another customer he sold a Demon too and giving me wrong information. I would call or text Mark and it would then take days to get a response. I asked for a buyers order and it took weeks of continually asking to finally receive it. When the car arrived at Clear Lake Dodge I tried to get wiring information to pay for the car, this took another two days of calling and texting Mark and when I did finally get the wiring information Mark sent me a picture of a routing number written on a business card taped to someone's desk, so I immediately went to the bank and wired the money......... 3 hours later Mark calls to tell me they had given me the wrong account and said I needed to go back to the bank and re send the money to a different account that was also hand written on a piece of paper. After calling the Finance department they were able to transfer the money from the FIAT account they had sent me first over to the Dodge account. After that was finished, part of the deal when buying the car was to tint the windows, I asked Mark several times to confirm they would tint the windows 20% all the way around and he confirmed via text that would be no problem since car was going out of state........ Mark sent me pictures after they had been tinted and the car was not correct, they had tinted the front windows at 35% and he then told me they could not do what he had promised........ If he would have communicated with me I would not have had them tinted there, so now I have to pay an additional $250 dollars to have the tint they installed removed and new tint re-applied. When I spoke with Miguel Perez (New Car Director) about this and looking for some assistance he told me there was NO way I was getting any help with this and I was lucky I was even getting the car because they could sell it for more than what they sold it to me for! OK, so I drive 2500 miles from Seattle to pick up the car and I talked to Mark letting him know I would be there in about an hour, he said that the car was dirty and he had asked if I want it washed?...... I asked him to please wash the car and I would see him soon. I arrived at the dealership and was getting my enclosed trailer ready to put the car in and here comes a detail employee in my brand new $100,000 car........ he drives right past me, out the front gate and then proceeds to do a burn out and drive off at a high rate of speed. I went in and talked to the sales manager and he apologized for what had happened. I was told the detailer went out and drove the car to get water off of it (whatever). I then meet the salesman (Mark) at the car and he doesn't show me anything about the car and how it works, the interior floor is dirty and the exterior is still dirty in areas. To top it all off, I purchased the car with 2 miles on it, when I picked up the car it had 13 miles on it???? How many other joy rides had my new car been on?? I now have the car home and I am going thru all the stuff in the trunk, Mark had told me they put the locking wheel locks in the trunk that were part of the deal……. NO locks just the car cover, front license plate bracket and battery charger I paid for on the MSRP? The PDI of the car was not even complete as Clear Lake Dodge did not even install the factory pedal covers and just left them in the trunk.
Great experience! Great purchases! - Lmh056
Romel helped my husband and I find the exact van I loved and the next few days we found a great truck for my husband as well. The process was quick and easy. We love our new Chrysler Pacifica and Ford truck. Thanks to Romel we are driving safe and protected with a lifetime warranty in vehicles we love!
Ed Sanchez Excellent Service - Mountain Mike's
Salesman Ed Sanchez was great to work with. He's our guy and we will be back to purchase a Chrysler 300 and a Jeep
Disgusted with this dealership! - Brooke
9 days after purchasing a brand new truck I started having transmission issues. I reported it to the dealership but with no lights and codes they said, “let it break in it will likely go away.” I continued to have problems and 20 days after my purchase having not even making my first payment, still with paper plates, and with 1,183 miles on the engine my transmission was completely shot and I had to get it towed to the dealership. I was given a loaner which also had engine ticks and clinking under the carriage. I reported it to the dealership as soon as I got home and they said, “it will work its way out once I drive it.” Several days after my truck was in the shop and my original truck now needing a new transmission and my loaner making engine noises I was done with Dodge and my peace of mind in buying a new truck from them was gone! I wanted nothing to do with Dodge! I went back to the dealership to express this and return the loaner because I didn’t want to drive another truck that was already having issues. When speaking to the General Manager he asked, “what do you need to be put in for your second loaner?” I said, “a truck.” He said, “why is that?” I said, “because that’s what I bought.” He asked again, “but is there a particular reason you need a truck?” I said, “because I live in the country and if I need to haul something (in the bed of my truck) I can.” He had the extreme poor taste on judgement to say crack a joke at my expense and say, “well that’s why you’re having transmission problems right there!” And laughed. At that point I have never been so insulted and I let him know that joking about my situation was in no way funny. I was given a second loaner and I was on my way. I opened up a case with Dodge to request a buy back. Today as I arrived at work the second loaner started acting crazy the computer screen got stuck and started making noises and was bouncing back and forth with thick lines down the screen, wouldn’t react to any bottoms and did it for 2 minutes before I finally took the keys out of the ignition and opened the door and several seconds later it finally stopped. Bayshore Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ramm this was supposed to be an exciting time but 100% of my peace of mind is now gone. I’m not sure that anyone is my shoes would be happy with their brand new truck purchase needing a new transmission 20 days after the purchase and two loaner trucks with issues. If I have ANYTHING to do with it...I will NEVER be driving a Dodge again when this nightmare is over!
Crooked Motives - jeeper2018
I was a first time buyer planning on purchasing a used, “certified” Jeep. I was planning on trading in my vehicle worth $3000 via Kelley Blue Book. Firstly, they told me that they lost the key to the Jeep, so I was unable to even test drive the vehicle when I needed to. Secondly, when we began discussing finances, they offered me $500 for my vehicle trade in. They said their reasoning was that my vehicle was “unsellable”. After I said that wasn’t true and showed them the Kelley Blue Book price, they quickly came back and offered me $3000. Next, I expected a certified pre-owned vehicle to be in adequate condition, at least. But after taking the Jeep to a third party, non-biased mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection, the mechanic said he wouldn’t even charge me for the inspection because the car was in such bad shape. He said, “If you were my son, I’d tell him not to buy this vehicle, and stay away from this dealership.” Very true! The only warranty on this “certified” vehicle was a short 90 day dealer-issued warranty. No thank you!
They probably thought I was a clueless, young, first time buyer who’d be easily swayed into giving them more profit. I felt taken advantage of, and I will not be visiting any more Mac Haik dealerships.
WARNING: Stay away!
Poor Customer Service - Shuna
I have purchased 3 cars from this place, and the owner Mr. Allen is a very nice guy was there for all 3 sales! Recently, after purchasing my 3rd car in March, I had some issues with my brand new car that hadn’t even been test driven. Ok, I get it, it’s a new car they have issues as well! However, BETTY FOOTS, the service manager promised to pay my first car payment due to these issues. It is June and I have yet to receive a check from them, and every time I call BETTY FOOTS, she tells her employees to say she is not in the office and after calling again, her phone goes straight to voicemail. Who has time to play games with you BETTY FOOTS!!! If you are not going to pay the note, just say that, but the games that you are playing to say that you are a MANAGER, is ridiculous! Again, I have purchased 3 cars from Mr. Allen, and never have I ever experienced such poor customer service from this place until I met BETTY FOOTS!
Service Department is Disappointing!! - Vickey Johnson
Be prepared to wait. Please call Chrysler Care at 800 247-9753 to let them know of your concerns. This has to get better and this is a start. I have a 2017 Chrysler and I have brought my vehicle in three times for the same problem. I have waited over 3 hours one time and today was 5 hours. Unless we start complaining to Corporate we will continue to wait for long periods of time for each visit. Again please call the above number to let Corporate know.
The worst I have ever experienced. - Never again
Salesman was good at first. After the sale everything went down hill fast. Service department is the worst!! No communication between people what so ever.
No upfront notice of diagnostic charges/overpriced estimate - Undisclosed Upfront Diagnostic Hostage Fees
Had our car towed to dealership for estimated repairs on a throttle body replacement. Service person did not identify any upfront diagnostic charges at estimate request. Upon receiving estimate for parts and service, respectfully informed service person I would like to check with secondary repair shop. Found expert shop to do same repair for 2 hours less quoted labor time, a free loaner car, and an overall savings of over $200 on a $600 repair. Upon contacting the delaership and politely requesting when the vehicle would be available for pick up by a towing company, the service person stated she would release the car when a $110 diagnostic fee was paid. Paid the hostage fee and moved the repair to the better source. Shady and shallow business practice. Don't blame the service person, appearantly - it's the dealership policy and business model.
Lies, sleazy, arrogant - shelbydriver
I called and inquired of a Dodge Challenger I was interested in purchasing. My wife and I came in and test drove the vehicle. After this was when things went south. I showed the listing I found on CarGurus advertising the price of $28,294. I did some math and gave an offer I felt was extremely fair (~100 dollars off the drive out price).
The manager (Todd) comes in to discuss the deal. The offer he laid out listed the price at $30,544 (before TTL). I told him this was not the price I saw on CarGurus. He retorts that he does not advertise on Cargurus and car gurus lists cars from their inventory just to bloat their inventory advertised. Okay. I was in front of him and pulled up the AutoNation Dodge website and see the exact car listed at $28,294. His response? "Oh that's the purchase price, not the lease price. If you did your homework you would obviously know." Okay, if that's the case, why not say that from the beginning? That the price of $28,294 was for financing and not leasing. His lack of manners, condescending attitude stemmed from how little he knew and how much he underestimated me. It would've saved 10 minutes of conversation had he explained that in the beginning. Instead, he goes on to brag about how he as a sales manager moves 500 cars a month
Long story short, they lost a deal. Misleading on the price of the vehicle, getting aggressive and argumentative when that was unnecessary, and last, because the sales managers arrogance and snarky behavior as disgusting as it was, could not overshadow how sleazy he was and how sleazy he runs this dealership. What a joke.
Update: Upon further investigation; AutoNation Dodge Jeep Ram Katy owns and responds to reviews on their CarGurus profile; meaning they advertise on CarGurus. Another lie. Good to know.
Worst experience ever - Alorenzo
Purchased new ram 3500 2 days before Harvey hit in August 2017. I brought truck in April 2018 due to it having smoke coming out from under the hood resulting from an issue with the water pump at 30,000 miles. Service advisor Tim was very unhelpful and had not commmunicated any information pertaining to the issue, again I researched the problem that I was having and found that there were issues with water pump on these rams. So I ended up trading my vehicle in for a 2018 1500 and added leather upholstery, bedliner, and fender flares. Two weeks later I am still without my truck after being told that my vehicle would only be in shop for about 5 days being picked up last Wednesday and still a week later I am without a truck and no communication from my sales person Shane nor a friendly follow up call from Sales manager Mr. Moore whom promised me he would reach back out to me after I addressed my concerns and promised me that he would have me in something for the meanwhile if my vehicle was not ready on yesterday. I finally decided to stop by and see what is really going on and speak to another Sales manager after I requested the General Manager’s contact info. I again addressed my issue and for whatever reason they did not hand over the General Manager’s contact information but told me they would relay the message to him. I find it disturbing that autonation allows this type of customer service with so much competition out in the auto industry. Never again will I bring my business nor will I steer anyone to this dealership.
THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!!!!! - lefty1962
My daughter traded in her Buick Verano for a Dodge Charger in November. The car WAS suppose to be financed by Chrysler Corp was what she was told. Traded the Buick in, gave a down payment, had a co-signer which was her dad. They had someone drive down to where we live so that my husband could sign the paperwork, got all his info, bank statements, DL, SS. She starts getting calls from the company that financed the Verano that she was behind 3 months on her car payment. My daughter explains that she traded the car in and got a new car. The finance company tells her they never paid it off. My daughter starts calling Port Lavaca Dodge and gets the run around nobody knew what was going on! She speaks to the GM still nothing. Then 2 weeks later they call and tell her she needs to take the car back because it wasn't financed. Other people in our community had already said not to buy a car there, we should have listened!
