They gave a price of 11,993.00 and as we are accustom to plus the TTL
When the paper price came, they added almost $2k to the price, with what I understand was prepping the car to make it ready for sale, and a system I understand is a car locations system which I do not need. The $2k was something they added to the car already so if that was part of the cost of the car, shouldn't they just say the price is $13,993.00.
I thought the car was still a good deal even paying $600 for a car locations system so I filled out the credit app thing on their website and they said I was approved and they setup a time for me to come in at 6:30 PM to purchase the car. I get there to find out, they sold the car to someone else. Why didn't they tell me, for me to hold the car, I would have to put money down. I wonder if the person who bought the car paid more than I was going to.
I will never purchase a car from them and I would never recommend Clear Lake Nissan.

I have bought 2 cars from them. Sales seem ok, but paperwork and correct disclosure is a major issue. Its been 3 months and continuing, to get a GAP refund after being told incorrect information, and "Rod" in finance passing the buck with incorrect information. It is one thing to tell the truth and know what you are telling the customer, but to give wrong information and be arrogant about it is unacceptable.

I want to write to commend Salesman Cullen Furgeson and Sales Manager Chris Allen for working with us to find just the right truck and make us a great deal in spite of terrible rain last Friday. This is now our 3rd Nissan purchased from Baytown Nissan (2014 Sentra, 2018 Altima, 2018 Frontier) and still drive all everyday. I would recommend if you are looking for someone pleasant to deal with on making an automobile purchase to ask for these gentlemen. 15 minutes to definitively diagnose yet 120 minutes to fix? - Ben_Nissan Altima
Steering wheel lock issue required the vehicle to be towed to the closest Nissan dealership. Advised they could definitively determine issue by removing anticipated defective part and plugging in the new part. 15 minutes later I was advised this was the issue and for $1,100 (parts $~700) and labor (2 hours ~ $320), they could fix! When asked how you could diagnose in 15 minutes yet require 2 hours to fix I was advised: "that's what the book recommends the job should take". Not OK!

My service contact Meagan has gone above and beyond for me in every way possible and beyond continuously for the last 2 years. Steven Rowland and Leo Arias went above and beyond in every avenue to make sure we were more than happy in a situation we were completely comfortable in. Baker Nissan ripped us off,damaged our windshield, lied countless times and ignored our phone calls from the original sales person up to the dealership manager and finance man. Baker Nissan is Scandalis and full of liars. The staff at Streater Smith exposed their lies and took every step in their power to ensure us a great deal on an excellent vehicle. Steven Rowland literally gave me the jacket off of his back. Leo Arias treated us like we were family. Jennifer has always be the most polite and accommodating service consult you could ever ask for. These people are true, kind and good hearted people who are truly there to help you find the right vehicle for you and your family. Mr. Traylor in financing is a true man of integrity.
