Buying or leasing a car can be a very stressful and intimidating experience but not with Acura of Glendale. Everyone is friendly, responsive, supportive and very informative about the auto(s) you are interested in for possible purchase. Not everyone knows everything there is to know about automobiles and it can be a bit intimidating when you are considering such a large expense. Karine, Alton and Artur actually made it easy, comfortable and as close to stress free as possible. What a pleasant experience can be had with this group at Acura of Glendale. The staff at Acura Thousand Oaks was outstanding! Aaron, Steve, Frank, Paul and Bret made walking into a dealership fun! They had the car clean and ready for viewing before we signed any paperwork! That's customer service right there! UNFORTUNATELY, Acura Financial was unable to approve us! Even with a 695 credit score and $3,000 down for a 2018 standard TLX lease! The staff went above and beyond. They greeted us at the door, explained everything in detail and made us feel like humans and not just another potential sale. I only wish we would have been able to do business with them! Nevertheless, they earned the 5 star rating I gave them! Keep up the great work guys! I truly hope we can put the car of our dreams in our driveway in the upcoming future!

I HAVE PURCHASED TWO NEW ACURA TL'S OVER THE YEARS FROM GOLD COAST. THE ONE I DRIVE NOW IS A 2004 MODEL WHICH I PURCHASED AS A GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY GIFT FOR MY LATE WIFE. FOR SENTIMENTAL REASONS I HAVE KEPT THE CAR RATHER THAN PURCHASE A NEW ONE. ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO THE CAR OVERHEATED BECAUSE I HAD FAILED TO TIGHTEN THE CAP AFTER CHECKING THE FLUID LEVEL. THE CAR OVERHEAD AND I EXPECTED TO HAVE A REPAIR BUILDING IN THE THOUSANDS. BUT GOLD COAST SIMPLING CHANGED THE OIL AND REFILLED THE RADIATOR WITH COOLANT. AS I RECALL THE BILL WAS LESS THAN A HUNDRED DOLLARS.
TODAY I HAD THE TIMING BILL CHANGE AND A FEW OTHER MAJOR REPAIRS. THE BILL CAME TO ALMOST 2,200 BUT JERRY IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT CHECKED WITH ME AS PROBLEMS WERE FOUND AND I AUTHORIZED EACH EXPENDITURE. HE WAS THE CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL. OF COURSE, I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO SPEND THE MONEY FOR ANOTHER TRIP TO MAUI BUT WAS GRATEFUL FOR THE WORK WHICH SHOULD GIVE ME ANOTHER 100,000 RELATIVELY TROUBLE FREE MILES.

I came to AutoNation by chance. I was on the 405 freeway when 3 of my service lights came on simultaneously, indicating failure. I pulled over and the nearest Acura dealership was AutoNation. During check-in my knowledgeable service advisor, Kelly Gilbertson, pointed out that my front tires were completely bare and suggested that I may want to have them replaced at some point (without being pushy at all to do it there). Note - I only have 14K miles on my car so the tires should not be severely worn.
About an hour after I dropped off my vehicle, Kelly called me and said they've identified the issue with the lights and it's related to the tires; apparently at my last wheel alignment the technician left both my tie rods loose - which could potentially be very dangerous for me. Previously I'd only gone to Hooman Santa Monica and they were the last ones to perform the alignment 5 months ago. Naturally I called Hooman very upset about the situation and, long story short, Hooman would not reimburse AutoNation to have my 2 tires replace nor pay for a new alignment. Throughout the ordeal, Kelly contacted Hooman directly and tried to work with manager at Hooman. He must have spent about a couple hours that day just going back and forth with them. He even had his technicians and Director involved and really fought for me to have these expenses covered. At the end of the day, the dishonest - inhuman Hooman dealership wouldn't accept responsibility so I raised the issue with Acura Client Relations. Even Acura Client relations did not deal with this issue like I thought they would, so AutoNation stepped up and really took care of me. They replaced my tires and performed a correct wheel alignment and now my car drives perfectly. I am forever grateful to this dealership.

I made an appointment with Emily to test drive a used Acura MDX. I also told her that I am interested in buying a new MDX instead if there is a good deal. I drove there after work from Irvine and it took me more than one and a half hour to get there. I was greeted by Daniel, Sales Consultant, at the entrance so I told him I am here for a test drive. He went out to find the car, however, he couldn't it for almost 30 minutes. After a long wait, he came back with a bad news that the car was taken by someone as a loaner and won't be available for two days.
He told me to come back in two days and the price cannot be negotiated because it is "internet price".
I told him that I am interested in buying a new one instead. He gave me a quote and then told me no dealership in 250 miles radius can't beat it. I told him otherwise. He challenged me to find a better deal somewhere else so I walked out because I wasn't comfortable speaking with him at that point. I went to another dealership I was negotiating with previously and got the deal done on the same day. -- Bad Sales Personnel and Service
Emily called me the next day and asked me "how was the test drive and experience at the dealership?" so I told her it wasn't ready when I got there. -- Internal Communication Problem
This was my 8th time buying/leasing and this is the worst experience at any dealership by far.

We had a very bad experience dealing with the agent and Manager in this location. They made us believe that we were approved for a car loan. They made us sign documents and released the car to us. But to our surprise they called after 2 days and told us to find a co-signer because our credit scores of d735 was not approved after giving them 4 thousand dollars down payment. Its a scam. They told us to come back and sign another document making it different from previously agreed. We found them dishonest and decided to return the car to them after we used it for a week. Now they’re trying to sell the car as brand new with a higher tag although it has 175 miles on it.They want people to believe that’it’s brand new. It was not. They screwed us up. Giving us a lot of emotional stress and anxiety. This is not a good place to buy a car, you might end up getting the same agony we went through. They are very dishonest and not trustworthy.

I went to dealer to check out car we were interested. I told them I have to work so I just wanted to test drive and think about it. Agent suggest to get quotes and we liked the deal. They told me 30 min everything is done. we were doing paper works and they told me my credit score wont apply to the deal we made ( I already told them my score before everything starts...) I was quite upset because I waisted my time and I had to go to work. I told them I am not interested in so Agent changed his attitude completely and told me "Dont be rude" with threatening face.
I was so scared that he would phisically do something... I run into managers office and they told me don't worry we will take care of it. They quickly try to close sale but their system rundown so I couldn't pay or do anything. At that point,Its been 2 and half hours past. I was late for work and my husband was late for meeting. They told me to come back next day. NO WAY!!
In the way, I was glad that payment didn't go through because I shouldn't give them my hard working money for that horrible service I experienced.

Brought my car in for a master cylinder recall. Got my car back with a clicking noise. I brought it back 4 times and still the mechanics cannot get the problem fix. I brought it back a 5th time and this time they wanted $2100 for a problem they caused. Yikes!! I would never recommend this dealership. At least the service department. Might as well go with a Honda since you get sub par Honda service. Will probably go with a Lexus or a MB next time. Acura seriously, if you want to be a Luxury brand you should start acting like an Luxury brand.
