This is the second vehicle we have leased from Tustin Hyundai. It would have been three had the Genesis models been available, but today we leased the Santa Fe which I like a lot.
Bill Ferris can not be beat. We dealt with him last time and today as well. He is knowledgeable, honest, and all around a wonderful human being. He is the reason we went back to Tustin although the Mission Viejo dealership is closer. When and if the Genesis series are available we will do business with him again.

The one complaint that we have is that, after we made our choice of a vehicle, the process of finishing the purchase took much too much time. We were at the dealership for about four hours (through lunch time). The problem seemed to be that we were considerably delayed in seeing the finance manager. Perhaps she had several customers that needed her services all at once. Once we got to see her, she was friendly and professional. It would have been good if the dealership would have advised us that there would be a delay so that we could have gone out to get some lunch. My wife has type 1 diabetes and her eating schedule is very important. Fortunately she had some candy in her purse that kept her blood sugar from going too low.
All in all we had a good experience at the dealership. We especially appreciated the sales person who sold us our car, Don Yarnall. He answered our questions, and we did not feel pushed to buy anything that we did not want. Thank you, Don!

Had massive mistakes with my paperwork when I addressed it I was told I would be taken care of. When I emailed the GM he said yes we made mistakes but we don’t give away free stuff. So DMV paperwork wrong twice. Wrong VIn given to me for a quote. Salesman argued with me that he didn’t sent wrong VIN then harassed me about a bad survey number. A small compromise instead go ahead and blast social media would have been smart.

The sales process was good and Jimmy did his job but the Finance and DMV department hires a bunch of horrible people. Came in with my own financing and they decided to sign me up for some 3rd rate credit union and then they screwed up my paperwork and submitted the documents to the DMV for tags but did not provide license plates. They charge you lots of money in fees and don’t do their jobs. Also the day after I purchased the car the check engine light turned on and when I took the car to the Service department and all they did was reset the code and now it’s showing as Permanent when you hook up the OBD reader. Stay away from this place.

They explained the difference between the original batteries warranty and a new battery warranty. Being a loyal customer they wanted to make sure I was happy. So they offered me a complete detail of the car to offset the price of the battery. I feel this is very generous offer. A very happy and satisfied customer.

I've never had as wonderful experience as I had Monday, 12-18-17. Edgar Gonzalez and the other staff for that day were so nice! My 2014 Sonata needed servicing. Here are some perks, not necessarily in order of importance:

2. Free oil change
3. Free car wash inside and out
And they had me driving home in a timely manner!

Deceptive Sales Tactic and Unethical Manager - Individual
I originally wanted to wait and buy a Hyundai Sonata close to the end of the year. Puente Hills Hyundai dealer lured me in by promising an out-of-door price in writing. Then one hour prior to my appointment, which is supposed to finalize the deal, they texted me and said they could not honor the price. When I arrived the dealership, they told me how unattainable the price that they promised in the email was, and tried to sell me at a higher price. It is the classic bait and switch technique. When I tried to tell the finance manager that I did not like the sales tactic that they used. He said "Who promised this? I am going to fire him." I was speechless. He then went on, "You just got him fired." I said that I was going to file complaints about this practice. He was enraged. He said "This is my shop, and no one threatens me. Not you, not Trump." I was clueless as to why he brought up this name. In short, this individual has no ethics, and shameless. In my email with Robert Jefferson, he
mentioned that he got approval of the name of the director, so it is highly likely that he was merely under the direction of his superior.

I was quite satisfied with my purchase when i drove off their lot in my new car. I called the service department and talked to Ivan Avalos regarding my car's fuel range showing erroneous number. I told him that in the last 3 years when ever I filled my gas tank, the range on my dashboard would show that the tank take me 400-420 miles (which gives a reasonable average of 22-25 MPG as advertised for my car, i.e. a Santa Fe 2015). However the last time it showed 300 miles. I asked for an appointment so this could be fixed. I also mentioned that this happened after I brought my car for installing the KSDS software (a product improvement campaign by Hyundai). He became defensive and argued with me that there is nothing wrong and they cannot fix my car. He said you might have changed your driving habit, etc. I let him know that when you fill the tank, without driving a foot, it showed 300 miles. How is that related to my driving habit? He could not or did not want to understand. At the end he said you can bring your car but we would tell you nothing is wrong!!!! So much for your service Allen Hyundai!!!!
Told to come back for repair after 1st of the year. - Dlo
Bought my 2019 Santa Fe on 12.19.18. Noticed a scrape on rear bumper next day and brought car back following day. Met with Alex A. Internet Mgr. He said this was very busy time for the dealership and to bring car back after 1st of year. So I waited 2weeks and in the meantime I contacted Alex to make sure any parts needed get ordered. He said they would only repaint the bumper. I disagreed at that time since the scrape was on a area of a non painted surface. We agreed on a date on Thursday 01.10.19 10 AM. I showed up on time, but no Alex. No one could reach Alex. Was simply told by showroom stay to just leave the car and Alex would get the work completed. I had to call Alex a few hours later only to be told the work cold not begin until the following Wednesday. Alex said to come get the car and told him no. At this point I will just wait until work was completed. Alex pushed me off to Jesus in the service dept. I contacted Jesus by voicemail and text to dispute the planned repair. No call back by the next day. I call Jesus again and got voice mail. Ended up taking to Alex who said he would get Jesus to call me. Jesus called me same afternoon and told me they got the okay to replace the damaged part of the bumper however part needed to be ordered a d it would take 6-7 days. Told Jesus okay but I would pick up my car in the meantime
My point is they ignored the customers suggestion and wanted to do it their way without any customer consideration.

My hunch tells me to take my service business to another dealership.
Not happy at this point since I was told to wait until after holidays. Now almost a week to be told part needs to be ordered. The initial decision to simply paint the damaged area was the cheap way out
I'm guessing the damage occurred on the dealer lot when cars are moved. The employee that was moving the cars should have said something as well as the person who washed the car prior to delivery to me.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They are non-responsive and waste your time - even with my coming in with the pre-negotiated Costco discount. They are my closest dealer so I gave them every opportunity to help, but they clearly had no interest…
Where do I start..
1. Not even a single follow-up phone call or email from the salesman or his manager after taking a test drive and getting a price quote – which was high…
2. When I tried to follow-up with them, the salesman’s voice mail was full, and never returned my call even after leaving a message with the receptionist.
3. No response from the sales manager after leavings a voicemail with him (including telling him that I had not heard back from the salesman & that I was buying a car in the next 48 hours).
4. Went in to offer them a last effort and they tried a bait and switch on me with a more expensive car than they had told me they were going to show me.
I left the dealership and bought the car from Downey which provided GREAT responsiveness and honest treatment. Love the car (just bought a 2018 Elantra from Hyundai of Downey – our 3rd Hyundai). BUT - I repeat - Save yourself the time and frustration – AVOID NISSANI BROTHERS HYUNDAI & give Adam at Downey Hyundai a call.

Service in July that was not done properly. Found out because car almost died last Saturday and was able to barely drive to Downey Hyundai. Downey Hyundai had car for four days when they called that car needed Coolant Flush. I authorized service and later that evening check my paperwork from work done by Sage Hyundai in July. I had a coolant flush! I called Downey Hyundai to not have service preformed because i had coolant flush done in July, but Downey Hyundai informed me that that was impossible because it was half full and dirty. I contacted Sage Hyundai and left message for the Service Director, Ara, who never called me back. I called again and left message, but not call back. I called four times today (Saturday) to speak to the service director and i just got transferred from person to person. Called again and left on hold for over 17 minutes. I called again with call transferred which rang for 45 times. If I would have been given at least a free oil change, I would have been happy, but all I got was being ignored by everyone that worked at Sage. I will NEVER go back to this dealer again. I have had other problems with them taking hours just for oil changes. I miss the old management which got you in and out.
