Great Salesperson - Teri
Jesse Trujillo really knows the cars inside and out. When we went on a test drive he went over the car features. When I purchased the vehicle he went into great detail of every feature on the car. Jesse is polite, personable and does not over power you like some dealerships.

Great customer service - snyds31
David was extremely helpful in getting my new kia optima. He answered all my questions and went over all of the car features with me. His manager Mani was also very nice and helpful in getting a deal done. Within a few hours I was in and out with a brand new lease. Great customer service all around.

Fast,easy deal! - Mindy
I bought a brand new car today and I am very happy with service and car buying process that I highly recommend Covina Kia because they strive hard to make it good experience by being fast and friendly from start to finish. However I do wish that I got a full tank a gas like they promised me but overall I am happy and in a car that I love .
Very Pleasant purchase! Yes - James
Marisole, Tim, & Bruce. Took care of our purchase.
Other employees were friendly also, however these 3 assisted us in our auto purchase. Will be happy to recommend anyone including my friends and family to come to valley hi Kia. No games like other dealer. Just quick concise process. No switch o Rama either
Great Service Rep - Average customer
Yuri is my service rep. She is very honest, thorough, and really cares about taking care of your car. She is the very reason I put Kia high on my list regarding my next car purchase.
THREE HOURS FOR OIL CHANGE - DJ
So, I brought my car for an oil change on a Saturday. Customer service was rude, and it took three hours for a simple service. I don’t know, but if you have extra time to waste, then by all means take your car to Kia Huntington Beach.
Not a good experience. - mistryvinit
I was on a call with a person from sales and I explained him all my needs and the quotes that I received from other dealership. He said he he saw no reason why he could not work around my needs. The website quoted price for the 2018 Optima EX at $24,XXX MSRP. On the call I mentioned I was looking for $24,000 (out of door) and the sales person said we can work that and asked me to come over. He also said it will only take 30 min of my time to work on the price and if interested. I ended up spending more than 4 hours and the price offered was nowhere even close to what the website said. They told me the MSRP would be $29,XXX where as the website said $24,XXX.
Last but not the least, after all the time spent and I placed my deal at $24,XXX-$25,XXX (Out of door, including tax and registration) the owner/dealer accused me saying let's just say you don't want to pay taxes for this car.
Complete waste of my time.
Service appointment at 10 AM, longest wait ever! - iowamba
They need to understand people's time is important. Honor the appoitnment time and be more efficient. Tons of employees walking around while customers wait, unorganized. I came in for an oil change and it took more than two hours, really?? What is the purpose of appointments then? You are great to try to sell your product, but horrible at providing service! You need either a new facility or staff your facility with efficient workers.
Advertised price not the real price - SAMF
Posted price on-line, verified verbally and then by email that the listed price was the entire price and any additional charges for options or warranties would only apply if approved by me. Then added over $1000 for "Dealer Installed Options" that they claimed had already been installed. When we argued we were told to read the fine print in the ad that those options are above the posted price. When we suggested they refer to the phone call in which they verified that the advertised price was our cost, and read the salesman's email to the same effect., a sales manager finally offered to "take off" the dealer options. By then we wouldn't have purchased from them at any price.
Untrustworthy website - mistryvinit
I called the dealership and asked if they had the 2018 Optima S or EX with panoramic sunroof available. The sales person said yes, a lot of them. So I decided to check the website to get a heads up on the available options and it displayed more than 20 in the same.
When I went to the dealership, the sale guy was new (Just his 3rd day) and he wasn't able to fine the car. I don't blame him but if there was someone to help him, this process would have been a lot faster, especially with the labor day weekend rush. He was later assisted with someone to find what I was looking for and they said it was in other parking lot. So they asked me to wait so that they can bring the car to me. After about 30 min or so, they got back saying that car was stuck behind 2 cars so they couldn't get it and this time they asked me to come along. When we finally reached the lot they showed be a different trim to what I was looking for.
After wasting so much time, we again got back to dealership. The Sr. Sale person said they were sold out for the model I was looking for and tried to sell me the 2019 model which had less incentives and higher price to the 2018's. He said let's work on the numbers and try to fit the 2019 within my budget. At this point, I didn't even test drive it. So I mentioned that and they took me for a test drive.
After the test drive, I mentioned why I was considering 2018's and their website still showed the inventory available (within my budget). I took a screenshot of couple of them and showed it to them. Turns out the one's on the website were the ones without the panoramic sunroof. The sale person said you should see detailed specs to see if it has one and not just go by photos posted. I argued with his said if in photos you see a white car with black roof you are bound to say this has the panoramic sunroof. Even he agreed to that and later accepted the website was messed up.
I actually ended up wasting 3-4 hrs in this entire process.

Turn in leased vehicle - Benthomas00
Went to turn in a lease vehicle and look for a replacement car. Sales people said their system had been down for a week and could not accommodate us. Suggested we go to Irvine Kia. Why have a dealership? Very unimpressive
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS - th
If I could give 0 stars I would. Never in all the years of purchasing cars and dealing with car salesman has my family EVER been treated with so much disrespect. We were being helped by Abby and the minute she realized we weren't here to play the numbers game, she become extremely rude, condescending and sassy. We were already quoted a price of leasing a new car but they came back higher than what we original asked for. She said, "Well do you want to leave?" When we asked for managers, no one bothered to come to us. After coming to a bitter conclusion of the number we were passed off to finance. Once passed off to finance, Sammy Sheikh basically spat in our faces. Not only did we have to wait 2 hours for finance, when we asked if we could go with someone else he told us, "I'm going to take my time. Please, don't wait outside my office. It won't help." This was the first interaction we had with him. At this point, we were so shocked by this type of customer service that we wanted to take our trade in back and leave the dealership immediately. Whatever we could do to get out of this place. Once Sammy was available he angrily let us in his office and said, "It's a busy weekend, there's a lot of customers. I need you to be patient." We were being extremely kind and said that we understood but that we were just excited to purchase a car. Sammy showed no interest in our enthusiasm and started shoving papers in our faces with no explanation of what we were signing. When we asked what we were signing he said, "You can always ask me," to which we responded, "I think that's your job." We started to sign papers and realized that we hadn't seen a full contract yet. We asked if there was a way to see the contract and Sammy responded with, "That's not how we do business here. We do the contract last. Let me do my job. That's not my protocol, that's your protocol. Don't try to show me your muscles." We stayed extremely quiet and polite the whole time because we didn't want to anger Sammy any more and just wanted to purchase a new car. His hands were shaking and it was frightening because we were afraid that he was going to lose his temper. We were also looking to purchase Extended Warranty and Sammy never discussed any of the optional benefits that we could add on. Finally, after all the paperwork was signed we were led to the car and handed a key without any explanation of how to operate the car, what the features are and any additional information. We immediately flagged that a second key and owners manual was missing. After confronting Abby about the missing key she responded with, "Ya about that. I can't find it." Later, as we were about to drive off Abby flagged us down because they had INCORRECTLY asked us to sign paperwork for the wrong car. At this point, we had to wait another 30 minutes for Sammy to wrap up with another customer before helping us fix their mistake. He scurried us off and asked us to sign outside of his office, standing, with Abby who has NO EXPERIENCE dealing with lease contracts (which she also voiced to us). This was the first time I purchased a car on my own and wanted to cry after dealign with such horrible people. We were extremely frustrated, disrespected and humiliated. For anyone reading this review, please do yourselves a favor DO NOT waste your time or money on this dealership. They are manipulative, slimy and disrespectful.
Disappointed Buyer - Happy Ale
I was looking to buy a car from this dealership. Had been speaking to Jake and when my friend and I showed up we were helped by another sales person. Tried to make a deal with them the online price was about $16,000 the vehicle had some body work done to the back passenger door. We tried to see if they would lower the price and instead they came back with a $19,000 price. We asked for an explanation so the sales person had his manager come over. When we asked him what the $3,000 in accessories on a used car were; he said that it was for a sealant (car wax) that they put on the vehicle. My friend laugh and said lets go you are not going to pay for that. The manager said ok that's fine and did not do anything to get our business. Went and bought my car at another dealership.
Makeing apointment for engine lite - Henry Clark

Worst experience ever - mistryvinit
First, I get an email with a quote of MSRP $22,052 for the 2018 Kia Optima EX with panoramic sunroof. So, I called them and confirmed its availability drove 65 miles to the dealership. When I finally get there, they told the car was sold. Which was okay with me. Then they didn't have and model with in the same trim and specification I was looking for so they tried selling me a full-loaded model which would have exceeded my budget by at least $10,000. The sale person was so rude and aggressive when I said no I won't be considering this trim. I said I wanted the EX or the S 2018's trim (which they didn't have) and he said I get you that for the price you are looking for if I buy it today. So I asked him show me where is the car.
He later pressed that he has control over Kia inventory all over US and can get me one if I agreed to work on the number. I told him how can I buy something that's worth so much amount of money without even looking at it. He still pressed aggressively saying no we have to do this first in order to give you numbers.
I just left the dealership at that point. With that attitude and approach, I don't think I will even buy a car even if they were to eventually give a deal.
To my point, when you buy something that's worth $25K you want to see it and then work on numbers if you like it. No point in wasting time.
Rip offs! - Kia owner
This review is my opinion based upon my horrible personal experience with this dealership. The service technicians tried to oversell me and then over charged me for the routine maintenance service. Initially they denied the over charge but when I challenged the fees they backed down and gave me a $75 credit. I waited over 2 hours for the service to be done. Finally I requested they get my car so I could leave. Trust, integrity and customer service is lacking at this location. Kia Temecula is awesome!!!!
crankshaft pulley bolt - R&T
I am consistent about maintaining my car and when things come up. Had a weird vibration in the steering wheel that was diagnosed as nothing. This happened just prior to the 100,000 mile warranty expiration. I took it in again when it persisted, just slightly after the 100,000 mile warranty expired and the problem was diagnosed as a broken crankshaft pulley bolt. They also gave us the impression that they knew if was probably this problem when we brought it in originally. I was furious but what can you do. Now, years later, I receive a class action lawsuit notice about this very problem. Bad news is that I have sense tossed the receipt to prove that I had to pay the $1,000+ repair bill. Very, very frustrating.
Unprofessional, Rude once you give them your business - Kathy
WARNING: save yourself the stress and headache! Go elsewhere!
Horrible customer service, they never answer the phone!
I am in the process of buying my car but now that they have my $1000 down payment they don't answer my calls or call me back. It's a horrible experience!
Originally Alex Tsai was helping me with my purchase but he became very unprofessional and rude which is how I began dealing with the general manager to finish this deal. Now he won't even return my calls! I've left several "messages" for him with the receptionist and nothing. Plus his voicemail is full!
I'm starting to feel that this is all a scam being that it's been 2 weeks and nothing! I don't even have the car in my possession!
So whoever is reading this, you are warned! Be careful before giving them your business.
Horrible customer service "that's your problem attitude" - MdelRosario3
I brought my car into the service center because it wouldn't let me put in gas! I was in a panic, I only had enough gas to maybe drive locally for another trip. No more. My daughter was starting preschool the next day and I had to get back and forth to work. They told me that they were too busy to even look and diagnosis the problem. I would need to come back the next day, which I was annoyed but ok with until the parts and service manager said that I should take it to another dealership because they didn't have time for me. Really? I bought my car from them because they are less than half a mile from my house and I wanted to go to them for convince specifically. Then he told me I could bring it back the next day and if it was a warranty issue they would give me a loaner car. So the next day we dropped off the dark and waited all day to call me back. They were calling the wrong number and not the number I specifically told them to call.. when I finally got a hold of them it was close to closing. The p&s manager said it would take until the next day to get the part they ordered and basically hung up... no mention of loaner car as previously mentioned. I called back the next day asking for a loaner because I was in a difficult position now, I needed to go to the store, my kid had been pulled out of school & i hadn't been to work in 3 days. I was basically told "that's your problem, they weren't going to give me a loaner car because I didn't ask soon enough the day before which is bs because they didn't even look at my xxxx car until almost closing and he hung up on me before I could ask ?.. they made no effort to help out a customer whom purchased their car from them and took the car to them for all services. They were rude, acted like I was an inconvenience to them, that it wasn't their car part that malfunctioned, I had done something, at one point that a $$hat made some suggestion about mice making nesting in my fuel line.... seriously??? xxx???? I was actually told that this was not their problem at one point. The only person above this guy was someone named Cesar who was on vacation until next thursday....so sad too bad nothing we can do to help or work with you... your screwed. I called corporate... and guess what? Pretty much the same attitude... told me someone from the dealership would call me shortly.... WHO? The a $$hat I was complaining about?? Or I wait until this Cesar guy comes back next thursday??? It's bs. If you want good customer service and people who treat you right or gave a small measure of self responsibility, DO NOT BUY FROM OR TAKE YOU CAR TO ALLSTARS KIA OF POMONA,,,,,,, I have NEVER been treated this poorly with such uncaring from any other car dealership ever. I would shy away from Kia in general at this point... I could have easily bought a fiat or a honda...
felt like nothing done - grams

Car buying to me is worse than getting a root canal... - BirgitTrinkwalter
Car buying to me is worse than getting a root canal usually BUT NOT IN THIS CASE!
I bought about 15 new cars in my life from dealers and this has been the best car buying experience ever!
Went in, told them what I wanted for my trade in and what I need my monthly payments to be for a new car. Got what I asked for and a Hybrid on top of it (which I wasn't even going for) and drove the new car off the lot 1 hour later.
The three D's (I call them) David (Sales), David (General Manager )& David (Finance Manager) were all super nice and made the process smooth and painless. I would recommend this dealership to everyone and will never buy a car again anywhere else!
Terrible sales tactics especially when they mess up on contr - Israllythebestatscammingyes
Ended up signing a contract for a rolling buy on the weekend when the banks weren't open they called me back in to resign a new contract I told them no cause it was a bad deal, they then proceeded to try to use scare tactics to make us keep the car and tell us it's ours and we'll have it towed to your home if you leave it here, we left it and went else where
