I bought a used Hyundai Tuscon from this dealership and within 5 days after purchase the check engine light came on. It was in the shop for over a month until they finally figuerd out it needed a new transmission. These are suppose to be "certified per-owned" vehicles and when I asked how something like this could get by them, they had no answer for me. They never called me for and update on when it was going to be done (like they said they would), I had to call them every time. Every time I got the same answer Gilbert (the person in charge of the service) is with a costumer and he'll have to call you back, witch he did only 10% of the time. Usually I would have to call them back hours later to get an update. Over all it was one of the worst car buying/costumer service experiences I have ever had. This might not be the case if you buy brand new, but this is just what I had to go through and would wish this on anyone else. As of now my car is still currently in the shop and has been there since the 15th of August 8/15th. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

I went in after some on-line comparison shopping, ready to buy and ready to buy from them since they are close to home. Showed them the best deal I'd found on the car I wanted, and after endless haggling. they agreed to meet the price, although they expressed outrage that I was getting a "better" car than the one I asked for because it was all they had. So we were all set, and I sat down to get to business and waited, and waited some more, and then waited some more. Until finally it became clear that I was waiting for the car to be brought back from their warehouse, and they wouldn't talk business until I'd sat in and supposedly fallen in love with it. By now we're two hours in, and it's getting dark and I"m freezing, and they have constant loud music blaring so I'm pretty miserable, but we sit down to talk turkey, and suddenly the price is $300 higher than the one they'd promised. I say I'm out of there unless they meet our agreement and after many deeply agonized visits to his manager the salesman, mournfully agrees. So we start on business again, now three hours into it, and we get to financing and I say I don't want their $500 rebate in exchange for a much higher interest rate than I can get anywhere. Shock, horror, outrage, but I tell them I'd be happy to pay cash outright if they won't give me a lower rate so again, as if I've committed an outrage they do. Now 3.5 hours in they take me to a finance office to sign the paperwork and we're all chummy and good pals until I reject the extended warranty (again shock, horror) but still we get past that and they finally hand me the contract to sign and low and behold the price has gone up $500. I tell the guy the deal is off, and he scurries out to confer once again, finally finds the sales manager, and explains that this is the fee for my rejection of the higher interest rate. No one had ever mentioned that the price was contingent on my accepting their terms, so at that point, I walk out. Get my money back, and leave, happy that I will not have to do business with them for the life of the car. They are low life.

Went to turn in a lease vehicle and look for a replacement car. Sales people said their system had been down for a week and could not accommodate us. Suggested we go to Irvine Kia. Why have a dealership? Very unimpressive
Poor customer service - Bad Experience
I called in and spoke with Sammy Sheikh in finance about a car deal my son-in-law was turned down for and when my he asked for his down payment and 2 cars back, Sammy refused to do so. Sammy picked up my call and when I introduced myself and what I was calling for, he immediately said he had to take another call and put me on eternal hold. How is that for service? There are far too many Kia dealership to expect service like this. My s-I-law has been there the last 2 days trying to get his trade-ins and down payment back but told he has to wait until the GM comes back to work, when is that. I will never purchase a vehicle from Kia of Irvine based on the way they treat people and I recommend you should go to another Kia dealer if you don't want this service. Christopher Heinz

I was looking to buy a car from this dealership. Had been speaking to Jake and when my friend and I showed up we were helped by another sales person. Tried to make a deal with them the online price was about $16,000 the vehicle had some body work done to the back passenger door. We tried to see if they would lower the price and instead they came back with a $19,000 price. We asked for an explanation so the sales person had his manager come over. When we asked him what the $3,000 in accessories on a used car were; he said that it was for a sealant (car wax) that they put on the vehicle. My friend laugh and said lets go you are not going to pay for that. The manager said ok that's fine and did not do anything to get our business. Went and bought my car at another dealership.

I took my car in for oil change and tire rotation. When I picked up my Rio, they had taken my new tires and put worn tires on instead. They denied doing it and because I didn’t have the tire receipt in my car, I left with the raggedy tires. The sales department at this dealership might be good, but their service department is filled with thieves. I will go elsewhere in the future.

I highly recommend that you do NOT buy a vehicle at KIA of San Bernardino. They do NOT stand behind their sale. Customer service is a joke. Sales dept is a joke. Service dept is a joke. All the way up to the owner of this dealership. They will constantly lie to you. I had to actually call KIA directly to get my problem solved. They were the WORST experince i have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. They will sell you a car, and GOD forbid if something very minor goes wrong with it. They will hide and never return calls. So, everyone out here on San Bernardino, stay clear of this place. Not worth the headache.

I am consistent about maintaining my car and when things come up. Had a weird vibration in the steering wheel that was diagnosed as nothing. This happened just prior to the 100,000 mile warranty expiration. I took it in again when it persisted, just slightly after the 100,000 mile warranty expired and the problem was diagnosed as a broken crankshaft pulley bolt. They also gave us the impression that they knew if was probably this problem when we brought it in originally. I was furious but what can you do. Now, years later, I receive a class action lawsuit notice about this very problem. Bad news is that I have sense tossed the receipt to prove that I had to pay the $1,000+ repair bill. Very, very frustrating.

Do not buy a car from Irvine/Garden Grove Kia. They are complete liars and use horrible tactics to getbyou in a car and then they say you can't have the car (after you've driven it home) unless you put down a huge down payment. I have emails and voicemails from both Jeff and Mike that implicate themselves in this horrible mind game. I want so badly for the owner to contact me so he can listen and read the out right lies.
KIA''s POOR AND SLOW CUSTOMER SERVICE - DISAPPOINTED
My KIA 2013 Sorrento suddenly stopped on Mon 5, 2013 approximately 0645 am. AAA towed to KIA Alhambra Main St , CA immediately on Mon 3/5/18,.Today, after after 5 Business day they can not tell me what's wrong with my SUV nor covered by KIA's warranty. I had my SUV since July 2012 and the mileage approximately 73, 0000 miles & have complete maintenace service records performed by KIA Service Center . Simple common sense and you don't need to be smart , of course it's covered by KIA Warranty since it is still LESS THAN 10 YEARS and less than 100,0000 miles . KIA always proudly advertise 10 years or 100, 000 miles warranty coverage for their cars but WHY their Service Center unable to answer immediately that my SUV is covered by my KIA Warranty. Until today they have not given me a definite answer about my warranty coverage. They made themselves DUMB not give me the answer and this made me doubtful on their warranty if its is REAL or FAKE. The KIA Service center and TECHNICIANS are too SLOW and no commitment to provide customer satisfaction. I called several times to inquire but the assigned Service Center Agent voice mail was FULL and unable to leave voice mail. Very unprofessional ethic and never calls you back to provide updates. We are now in MODERN TECHNOLOGIES WHO CAN DIAGNOSE CAR ENGINE PROBLEM INSTANTLY but KIA's technologies is backward that upset several customer who all learned BIG lesson & will not buy KIA anymore. I would like to call KIA Management's attention and let them know they greatly need improvement on customer satisfaction and engine diagnostic service and trained their staff on professionalism behavior.before they loose business performance improvement..

I brought my car into the service center because it wouldn't let me put in gas! I was in a panic, I only had enough gas to maybe drive locally for another trip. No more. My daughter was starting preschool the next day and I had to get back and forth to work. They told me that they were too busy to even look and diagnosis the problem. I would need to come back the next day, which I was annoyed but ok with until the parts and service manager said that I should take it to another dealership because they didn't have time for me. Really? I bought my car from them because they are less than half a mile from my house and I wanted to go to them for convince specifically. Then he told me I could bring it back the next day and if it was a warranty issue they would give me a loaner car. So the next day we dropped off the dark and waited all day to call me back. They were calling the wrong number and not the number I specifically told them to call.. when I finally got a hold of them it was close to closing. The p&s manager said it would take until the next day to get the part they ordered and basically hung up... no mention of loaner car as previously mentioned. I called back the next day asking for a loaner because I was in a difficult position now, I needed to go to the store, my kid had been pulled out of school & i hadn't been to work in 3 days. I was basically told "that's your problem, they weren't going to give me a loaner car because I didn't ask soon enough the day before which is bs because they didn't even look at my xxxx car until almost closing and he hung up on me before I could ask ?.. they made no effort to help out a customer whom purchased their car from them and took the car to them for all services. They were rude, acted like I was an inconvenience to them, that it wasn't their car part that malfunctioned, I had done something, at one point that a $$hat made some suggestion about mice making nesting in my fuel line.... seriously??? xxx???? I was actually told that this was not their problem at one point. The only person above this guy was someone named Cesar who was on vacation until next thursday....so sad too bad nothing we can do to help or work with you... your screwed. I called corporate... and guess what? Pretty much the same attitude... told me someone from the dealership would call me shortly.... WHO? The a $$hat I was complaining about?? Or I wait until this Cesar guy comes back next thursday??? It's bs. If you want good customer service and people who treat you right or gave a small measure of self responsibility, DO NOT BUY FROM OR TAKE YOU CAR TO ALLSTARS KIA OF POMONA,,,,,,, I have NEVER been treated this poorly with such uncaring from any other car dealership ever. I would shy away from Kia in general at this point... I could have easily bought a fiat or a honda...

Ended up signing a contract for a rolling buy on the weekend when the banks weren't open they called me back in to resign a new contract I told them no cause it was a bad deal, they then proceeded to try to use scare tactics to make us keep the car and tell us it's ours and we'll have it towed to your home if you leave it here, we left it and went else where

I bought about 15 new cars in my life from dealers and this has been the best car buying experience ever!
Went in, told them what I wanted for my trade in and what I need my monthly payments to be for a new car. Got what I asked for and a Hybrid on top of it (which I wasn't even going for) and drove the new car off the lot 1 hour later.
The three D's (I call them) David (Sales), David (General Manager )& David (Finance Manager) were all super nice and made the process smooth and painless. I would recommend this dealership to everyone and will never buy a car again anywhere else!
