Our family first went to Capistrano Mazda because they had a 2018 CX-5 with the specs we wanted. Then we heard the 2019 would be coming with a turbo version, so decided to put our purchase on hold. Once the 2019's were released, we contacted Forouz about the possibility of getting the 2019 with the bells and whistles we wanted. Forouz made it happen and kept us in loop along the way. Once our car arrived at the dealership, Forouz and the entire Capistrano Mazda team were so pleasant to work with, helpful with the trade-in of our previous car and trained us on our new one. Having a good experience at car dealerships are not easy to come by, but I look back on our purchase with "smileage" on our faces!!

Their service department is exceptional. They back the Volvo warranty and they always take really good care of me. I would deathly recommend the sealer based on how well I was treated [after] I bought my XC70
Fast and great service - ART332
We were looking for a new car with affordable rate of payment. David Abdullaev was the right guy to approach, he explained all of the comforts of the new 2018 Mazda CX-5 and helped us to get this pretty car with the lowest rate of interest. Over all this was a great experience to see all of the dealership recommended cars.
Amazing customer service - MazdaMS3Guy

Being a first time auto buyer, one of the things that I wanted from the dealer where I would purchase my car was an honest and friendly environment - CardinalWay provided this to me. I had the opportunity to work with Steven when I visited CardinalWay looking for a Mazda3 Hatchback. From the onset, he was the the most candid salesperson I had encountered the entire day. He was straightforward with me from the moment he said "hello" in the parking lot. After having him tell me about the car and taking me on a test drive we went inside to run numbers.
Neil was the person that helped run and explain the numbers for me. He was also honest and straightforward and put in a lot of effort to put together a deal I was comfortable with. After he gave me a concrete offer, I notified him that I would not be able to commit until I looked at what other dealers could offer me. Unlike the other financing people I had previously encountered, Neil understood and did not push any further. I left the dealership with both Steven and Neil's cards and a positive experience with this dealer.
The following day I visited another dealer and had an awful experience. After going through that I knew I had to go back to CardinalWay. I returned to CardinalWay and worked out a deal for a new 2017 Mazda3. On my return I worked with AJ for my test drive and some of the initial paperwork. Just like Steven, AJ was a pleasure to work with - friendly and candid. I also worked with Neil and Paulina on the numbers for this new car. Neil included a rebate that I did not even know about, nor asked for, he took it upon himself to find me the best possible deal and did it on his own. I have no words to describe how pleasantly surprised I was when he outlined this on the itemized list of costs. Unlike the other dealers, I felt that CardinalWay was making a great effort into making my experience with purchasing a car as seamless and pleasant as possible; they were not simply focused on making a sale. With all that had happened at the previous dealer, I knew that I was in good hands at CardinalWay and chose to purchase my car from them.
Paulina was the next person I worked with and she was cheerful and full of energy. She made the paperwork process enjoyable. Not only was she very personable, she was also knowledgeable and thorough with every form she handed me.
CardinalWay made me feel like I was part of their family and I genuinely appreciated that. They earned my trust and business that day. I will definitely be coming here first for my future car needs. No lies, no games, just exceptional service all around.
Excellent. timely service. - jorges6

Southbay Mazda #1 once again...... - Review specialist
Visited again my favorite Mazda dealership ( Southbay Mazda ). Steve at the service dept made sure my M5 was taken care of. Southbay Mazda has competitive prices for service, they only use O.E.M. parts. And have great communications with their customers. 5 stars to Steve in service for going above and beyond for getting vehicles complete, this super service advisor was even prepping vehicles outside. I recommend this Mazda dealership for all your Mazda maintenance service needs, and with excellent prices and specials. For the few people out there that complain about the 5 to 8% price difference compared to national service brands: Dont forget they are Mazda trained, use O.E.M parts, and they get it done right the first time. And if they still complain, well maybe they can't afford to own a MAZDA......
this time is much better - KANOKWANMALIWAN
Kenneth was very nice and friendly and listen to my request very well. The atmosphere of the service department is better than my last visit.
Riverside Mazda was fantastic to work with. - MichaelP
Riverside Mazda made the entire new car buying experience easy and stress free. They were professional and courteous from the very beginning. There was never any pressure to buy and they were accommodating to all my requests and made sure to explain everything clearly and concisely leaving nothing in the dark. Not even two minutes after completing an online inquiry from the dealership I received a phone call where they knew my name, what I was looking for and were able to set up a personal, private appointment for later that day. My wife and I worked closely with Jose Herrara and I can't recommend him highly enough. Overall it was a fantastic experience and would highly recommend that dealership and Jose.

Been in the market to buy a new Dodge an ur salesman Andres was very helpful in finding the perfect truck an helped worked out an awesome deal on a new 1500 ram.
Terrible experience - benson2431
I visited this dealership in the evening on Friday 10-26-18 and was approached by Keith Ross. He asked if we had any questions to which we replied that we were just looking and we pointed out the cx5 we were interested in. We explained to Keith our situation with wanting to trade in my truck and potentially get into the cx5 with a lease. He said since my truck was a Chevy, they wouldn't give me a good trade in price and that we should try carmax. I appreciated his honesty. So, the following day I took my truck to carmax for the appraisal. They offered me $25,000 for my truck. I drove back over to see Keith and talk to him further about the deal, or so I was hoping. I walked onto the lot and waved Keith over. He approached me and I explained that I had gone to carmax like he suggested and I let Keith know what carmax offered. He immediately told me that they would not offer me that much since they are a Mazda dealership and a lifted Chevrolet truck wasn't something they would keep on their lot and would probably auction it off. All of this without even getting it appraised from their guys. I asked him if this dealership participated in the Costco Auto Buying Program. He said they did not, but if another Mazda dealership which does participate in the program offers me X amount for my truck, they could honor another Mazda's appraisal. He also told me that all I had to do was go into a Costco and have them do the appraisal. I knew this was incorrect information as I work for Costco and have to the last 14 years. I explained to Keith that this was not how it works and I told him how customers go about it. His response back to me was "I know, and what I am telling you is we will honor another Mazda's offer". At this point I was upset and did not appreciate being spoken to that way. Not only is Keith unfamiliar with certain dealership programs that other customers would wonder about, but he was very rude. I went home very disappointed and frustrated. I went onto the Costco Auto Buying Program website and found the Tustin Mazda (OC MAZDA) dealership does participate in the Auto Buying Program. I sent an email and heard back from them VERY quick. I explained my situation, my previous experience at Tuttle Click Mazda and what I was hoping for. Janell was extremely friendly and helpful. Sunday afternoon (the very next day), I went to Tustin Mazda and made a deal. They matched Carmax's offer, gave me the pricing for the Costco Auto Buying Program and I walked away with a beautiful brand new 2018 Mazda CX-5. I will NEVER go back to Tuttle Click Mazda.
Steer clear of the Service Center! - Milo
Save yourself the aggravation and just find a local mechanic to do the work for you. Otherwise, prepare to empty your wallet and be frustrated with the experience!
Great customer service - Marla21
As a new Mazda owner, this dealership's customer service exceeded my expectations. Everyone here, has been polite and has greeted me with a smile every time i have come in for an oil change, to pick up accessories or when paying at the cashier's window.
My service technician has been Alex and I will continue to request him for his outstanding attention to detail and communication during my service appointments.
I wouldn't go to any other Mazda Dealership for my needs even if they were closer to me!
Avoid this dealership at all cost! Please! - lewdaw9
I'll admit that I was a fool when I leased the car from them in the first place, despite how rude Mike was - I was too excited to finally get my hands on a brand new Mazda!
I avoided going back there for three years, until today when I had to stop by to return the lease before its maturity date. Unfortunately for us Mike managed to keep his job as a manager (and maybe owner?) there and literally slammed my keys on the table and told me to get the xxxx out of his dealership because the car was not pre-inspected and that there is no space to keep my car there. No space???? I was able to park the car in their lot when I got there with plenty of space around me, and there was a half-empty lot right next to the sales lobby... Unless Mike is storing all of his ego and thirst for profit in the lots, it definitely looked like there was more than enough space for one smallest car in the whole Mazda lineup.
Did I confirm with the bank that a I don't have to have the car pre-inspected before leaving it to the leadership? Yes, the bank said I should most definitely be able to just drop off the car and call them later to have it inspected. Did I try to get a pre-inspection done before showing up to the dealership? Yes, but the next availability is in a month - or three weeks after my lease's due date. Did I check with other dealerships around the area to see if I could just do it through them? Yes but they all said they were out of space! Why else do you think I'd ever want to go back to Santa Monica Mazda for anything after dealing with Mike three years ago?
The moral of my story? AVOID SANTA MONICA MAZDA AT ALL COST! Go to Culver City Mazda for way better services and prices (I've been taking my car for service for the past three years and I recently leased a new car from them - they have been nothing but amazing and friendly). Or there is an equally affordable Subaru dealership a few blocks down if you want AWD?? Just sayin'
Poor service - Mexico00
Did not answer service calls and did not return calls for service. Called twice for service and received a message both time saying that a service representative would get back to me which has not happened
Thank you - samuell9477
Thank you for the opportunity to express my appreciation for such a fine dealership as Neftin. I also want to express my appreciation for my service rep John Garcia, Mark Gupton, and the entire office staff. It is a pleasure doing business with you.
The Hands Down Worst Business Experience I've Ever Had - erikschmitt
WARNING: Do NOT get a car here.
(Feb. 2015) I mistakenly leased a Mazda 3 here while still in a lease with Hyundai (for some reason I thought it ended the same week I went to Mazda). I freaked out, called Mazda and went in the next day.
When I got there I met with Coty – the manager who leased me the Mazda 3 the day before. He sat me down and had me wait for him for about 30 minutes. While waiting for him, I spoke with a salesperson there and told him what happened. He told me it should be a pretty easy fix.
When Coty returned I re-explained to him what happened, told him that it was totally my fault and apologized and that I wanted to get out of the lease. He told that that couldn’t be done because all of the paperwork had been sent in and processed. I said there must be something that could be done and that I would even take a lower model for a lower price, he said that this couldn’t be done either. I went back and forth with him for a while and he told me what he could do is cover one of the payments on my lease. This would involve me writing a check to Mazda for a bigger deposit on my current Mazda 3 for the amount of 2 payments on my Hyundai, and then Mazda in turn would send Hyundai a check for 3 payments.
I refused this offer initially because I thought Mazda wouldn’t actually follow through with it. I also thought it was weird that I could totally somehow still pay a bigger deposit on my car if all the paper work had already been sent in and processed.
I wasn’t satisfied with Coty’s answers and told him I also felt like I got a bad deal on the car and told him about the lease deal I saw on the website for the more expensive SUV. He said it’s because the Mazda 3s’ sell so he can’t give me a better deal but can somehow magically offer a car that costs $5000 more for the same price.
After getting frustrated with Coty’s answers, I told my story to the original saleswoman I spoke with before Coty came in to negotiate with me the day before. She was helpful and said we could go talk to the manager Vahe to see what could be done. On our way to Vahe bumped into Coty. Coty asked us what we were doing and she told him that we were going to speak to Vahe. He said that Vahe went home. She thanked him for letting us know and she brought me to go see someone else.
On our way to go see this other person, Coty caught up with us and told us to follow him. She asked him where we were going. He said ‘we’re going to see Vahe.’ Weird. Coty had just said Vahe went home. More red flags for Coty.
Turns out Coty just took me into Vahe’s office to CHEW ME OUT for not wanting the car. I again explained I made a huge mistake not checking the dates and that I really needed to get out of the lease. The car saleswoman tried to defend me but he snapped at her. She became quiet and left the room. Coty asked me how it was his fault that I leased two cars. I told him that I never once said that I was his fault, that I had just made a huge mistake and needed help. He told me that I would need to take the car home that night or that he would have a tow company tow the car to my house and send me the bill. He also said he did try to help me with a ‘generous’ offer of covering on of my lease payments and that I didn’t accept his offer so I ‘didn’t even want his help.’
I finally agreed to accept his offer because I can’t afford to pay for two car lease payments + a car tow bill.
I go into the leasing manager’s office to complete the deal where Mazda covers one of my Hyundai lease payments. I asked if I would need to write a new check for my deposit and the leasing manager said no, he already had the original check and showed me my original lease papers and original check for the deposit. They hadn’t been sent it and processed like Coty said they had. Another lie.
For this lease payment deal to happen, I had to sign a new paper saying my lease was changing and then I had to resign my lease papers. ANOTHER lie. I could have gotten the lower model or totally cancelled.
After all of this, a few weeks later I find out that Coty/Mazda has not sent in the check to cover my Hyundai payments. I ended up making another payment on my Hyundai.
I called the finance manager at Mazda to tell him that it hasn’t been paid. He told me he would call me back in 15 minutes. I called him back 2 hours later leave a message – nothing. I call again the next day and leave a message. Nothing. So on and so on. Called Coty, the manager of Sierra Mazda, Vahe, left a messages, didn’t hear back.
After a week of trying to get a hold of someone at Sierra Mazda I was transferred to Sierra Chevy by mistake. I told the finance manager there my story and she walked over to Sierra Mazda to have someone talk to me and find out what happened. After she spoke to Mazda, they finally called me and sent the check in. I seriously had to call CHEVY to get a hold of Mazda.
Nicholas Fletcher Internet Manager, and AJ in Finance ROCK - L. Peterson
This is how all dealerships should be! If your looking for a Mazda/Hyundai, be sure to go here! I am a frustrated Volkswagen TDI owner, and because Volkswagen is buying my car back I found my self shopping for a vehicle again. After deciding that Mazda was an great choice, I reached out to Nicholas Fletcher 909-528-4284, who in my opinion is "The MAN!" to see. He listened to my issues with Volkswagen, and was very excited to assist me. After choosing my CX-5, Nick took the ball and just SCORED! No games or gimmicks here! From my first contact though the finance process with AJ (professional and spot on) made my experience fun and enjoyable! It was clear that the team at Victorville Mazda truly understand what it takes to provide customer satisfaction. Thank you Nick, and AJ for making the purchase of my Mazda Cx-5 the BEST car buying experience ever!
