2016 tired to buy a car. After wasting a day there the finance depart. tried to use something that was 12 years old on my credit to get me to pay higher interest/ larger payments. I walked out went to Greco got not only a better car at a better deal but a lower payment then I expected because of my good credit. This weekend they’re running a scam with a scratch off. Apparently everyone wins the $3.5g cash so you register the number and go in to collect but as suspected turns out there’s more to it and you only end up “winning”a $100 restaurant gift card that you have to register on that sight for it and they want you to set up an account with the sight to claim the Card. These cards are given out all the time at events not worth the junk mail. Overall don’t trust the Lou dealership. Always up to something.

I myself am a sales manager at another dealership and I consider myself to be a difficult customer. My 2018 Corvette Z06 had paint peeling off as a factory defect and Casey took the time to get me a new bumper with a new nose badge in a timely manner. I strongly recommend Grieco Chevrolet to anyone with a high end Corvette or other vehicle where they want to be treated like a VIP.

Inside the headlight of my 16 Malibu the chrome finishing was peeling. They agreed to replace both headlights. Great right?! Wrong. In doing so they scratched my car installing both of the new headlights. When from a little chrome finish peeling to 2 new scratches on my paint.

They put my wife in a lease for a $27,000 car for $4,200 down and $538 a month. How is that possible you ask, I don’t know because they refused to talk to me about it. (At first) So, after entering the dealership I ask to speak to the manager, then I ask him if we could go over the deal he made with my wife. I never gave him my name or the name of my wife. He asks if I’m on the new deal, when I say no, he then tells me he can not discuss the new deal with me. Now, I’m on the car that was traded in and the bank account the payment came out of, but he tries to tell me he can’t discuss it with me. I say ok and leave. About a mile down the road, I get a phone call asking to speak to my wife. REMEMBER, I never gave him my name or my wife’s name, how did he know who to call? So again I ask him how he justifies that much xxxxing money on a lease? He asks me not to cuss, I apologize and we proceed to have a back and forth where he tells me I’m talking out of my xxx and I don’t know what the xxxx I’m talking about. So, apparently it’s ok for the sales manager( General Managers brother) to cuss at a customer who has bout 4 consecutive cars from them. Additionally, I guess it be against the law to speak to me about the deal was another complete lie (he spouted # after #. Furthermore, how in the xxxx did he know who to call, oh yeah, it’s not that often you get over on someone that bad. BE CAREFUL, these people are out to get every last dollar you have and will then treat and talk to you like a piece of garbage afterwards. Don’t you think they would have been eager to talk to me about the great deal they made my wife if it really was one? xxxxxxxx! It’s not just me, look at all their reviews.

On May 18th 2018, I purchased a motor vehicle from this dealership. Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because it suffers from numerous fluid leaks including oil, transmission and power steering. These issues were masked and not mentioned during the sale. The salesman, David Cantella assured me that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected prior to being available for purchase and the car had NO mechanical problems. I specifically asked him the second time just to make sure and he reassured me that it was thoroughly checked and had no mechanical problems.
We brought the vehicle home on the 18th and on Saturday the 19th May, we noticed oil stains on our driveway and on Monday the 21st May when the mechanics were open, we brought the vehicle for them to look at and they advised to my horror, that there were numerous leaks and also advised, if the vehicle was checked at all, they would have noticed these issues as it was impossible not to see them. The mechanic advised that these repairs must be performed immediately and the cost would be a phenomenal $3,000.00 that we were not expecting and just do not have.
Upon returning to the dealership, David Cantella admitted that the car had only undergone a safety check and that we had purchased it “as is.” Ken and John, managers stated that they will not fix the vehicle because that would imply a warranty was given. They also warned us to not involve a lawyer. The car was grossly misrepresented, the sales man lied to us. The transaction was fraudulent. The company has been uncooperative in resolving this matter. Upon Ira Green’s request, we brought the car back to the dealership for an inspection on May 24th 2018 and subsequently turned away because their lawyer advised him to not do anything. I consider the lack of respect and wasting our time is just another example of the type of establishment they run.

My family and I have been loyal customers to this dealership for several years. However, after my experience today I will never return to this dealership. I will also never purchase another Chevy. I own a 2011 Chevy Cruze with under 50,000 miles. I came in last month with a coolant leak. I was assisted by a gentleman by the name of Jorge Garcia. He told me Chevys are terrible buys as they frequently suffer from coolant leaks. He checked the car and told me the leak was caused by a leaking hose. He fixed the hose and I was charged $191.85. Within 24 hrs, the check engine light came on again and advised that the car was overheating due to the coolant leak. I returned the car to the dealership. Jorge Garcia was again assigned to work on the car. Jorge check the car and told me it was a different issue causing the leak and I would not be charged for service because this issue was actually covered under the policy. I was pleasant and understanding. I returned today to pick up the vehicle. I requested my money back for the last visit to the dealership (given the coolant leak was clearly not a fixed). The cashier called Jorge Garcia, but when he answered the phone he told her he was too busy and to just tell me that I wasn't going to be returned the money. The cashier then spoke with her manager, Raul Morales. Raul came out and advised that the Chevrolet dealership would not refund the money because Chevys are known to have coolant leaks and it is normal to have another coolant leak within 24 hrs after a repair by the Chevrolet dealership. He then implied that I was lying about having a coolant leak within 24 hrs as I had not come back to the dealership the very next day. I was shocked. (Note, I still have receipts for the coolant that I had to purchase the very next day.) I had to explain to him that I work and the dealership is far away from my job. He told me he would speak to his manager Henry Pinillos. Within 5 minutes he came back and told me that Henry said the Chevrolet dealership would not return my money. Henry hid in his office and never came out to speak with me. I've never been more shocked by poor customer service. Congratulations AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables you made $191.85 and have lost several loyal customers today. I will continue to tell friends and family about this experience.
