New car - DanC
We didnt plan on buying a 2018 Tahoe when shopping we were looking at Fords and asked the sales person to call us. Never heard a thing from Ford. We meet Evan C at Don Mealey and he communicated all the way. He actually made the experience so pleasant, and easy to deal with, not that hard sales, he was concerned and never lost site of what we wanted. I highly recommend Evan and Don Mealey Chevrolet!! We love our new car.

Fast and efficient. Suggested new engine air filter and new cabin air filter. Did authorize both and as usual the oil change and tire rotation were done quickly starting at the outdoor kiosk.

Found ad for 2014 Chevrolet Camaro on cargurus. The car had just come in to dealership and their were no pictures of car yet, Jennifer Bass got a hold of me and was able to get a picture for me . Drove 100 miles to dealership to see car, first person I came in contact with was Phillip White ,very friendly and non pushy , then spoke with Dwayne Lyons to help with the sale. No one was pushy , they were helpful and informative on everything I asked. They both went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and to get the deal I wanted. Then I met finance , Major Daniel , he knew his stuff, This has been the most pleasant and easy going deal I ever made on a car, THANK YOU to all that assisted me in getting my beautiful Camaro. I really hope this dealership realizes the great employees that they have. Again I appreciate all the employees that assisted me , they made that day memorable....

Rock stars of Dealers - Billy Hendrix
My Wife and I have been to several different dealerships looking to purchase a new vehicle. We have had the Shock N Aw to the puppy dog making us feel guilty and to the angry for not buying from them. I was expecting the same thing here since this was our first time visit. Boy were we wrong, the sales people here cant be compared to any other dealership. The sales people actually treat and speak to you like your part of the family and they play no games, insult you or degrade you. We purchased our new vehicle last night and it felt like it was a purchase from a from a family member. The people here are truly the rock stars of dealerships and the sales profession.

best car buying experience I ever had. They where very honest, knowledgable and friendly. What they said on the phone was exactly what they did for us, price didn't change once we got there.
Beware the warranty! - Janie
My 80 year old father and I evacuated for the hurricane in Sept 2017. We left my car behind because Dad loves his truck and a car is just a car. His 2001 Chevrolet Silverado has less than 70,000 miles on it because he babies it so.
On the way home the transmission went out. We took it to Wes Haney Chevrolet in Live Oak, Florida because it was the closest Chevrolet “certified service” dealer to where we were. Rented a car and went home. On the 21st of Sept I drove hours back to get his truck.
491 miles on the odometer later, the driveway is covered in pepto bismal pink fluid. Had the truck towed to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet in Palm Coast, Florida.
The transmission was hooked up to the radiator and vice versa. Oops. No big deal. It’s warranty, right? Fix it. Five Mondays later I go to get the truck. Surprise, they didn’t replace the radiator. They just flushed it. Needless to say the truck barely made it home. Had another mechanic look at it and there is still antifreeze in the transmission.
Now Wes Haney won’t fix it because Tom Gibbs touched it last. Tom Gibbs won’t fix it because Wes Hany messed it up first. I’m sure in addition my 80 year old father will have to replace the water pump and radiator too.
Out $2700. Have a lovely black and chrome yard ornament that I have to pay insurance on every month and no one at either dealer cares. Please be aware that “certified service” only means if they want to take care of it. Am placing this on every Chevrolet dealer website I can find to let people know that the warranty is only good at the independent dealer that does the work originally no matter what the receipt says.
Going beyond expectations - Mickey9
I bought my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 new at this dealership in January 2016. I was concerned about the service I would be receiving from Chevy since my last 2 vehicles I drove were Lexus vehicles. But I have to say every time I bring my car in for service the service reps are friendly and always have a can do attitude and the service manager is outstanding and always there to help if needed. like I said in the subject line, they always exceed my expectations. I would recommend this dealership and service department to my friends and family.
Salesmen uninterested - Rene Miller
1st mistake a salesman can make is letting a potential buyer walk away. We had received a flyer in the mail which brought us to John Hall. Said, we pay 150% of book value, get a $100 Wal-Mart gift card for coming in, and other raffles. We get there, hoping we'd get an energized salesmen to give us options on trading in our Laramie but he was not helpful, didn't try to sell us anything, didn't bring up any raffles, and when WE asked about the 150% book value offer he started back pedaling and never offered to even have the 2015 truck appraised. We had money to spend and was disappointed with his lack of motivation. We are now on our to David Moss Chevrolet.
Three months to fix a warranty issue and still not fixed - Bob Nowlin
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A GMC DEALER.
On November 1st I exited my car and opened the back door while closing the front door. To my surprise, the side trim on the back door collided with the front door, peeling back the chrome strip on the back door. I immediately called the Carl Black dealership to make an appointment to have someone look at the issue. On November 2nd I visited the dealership and met with Khari Young. He and the Service manager, Jimmy Wilson, looked at the car and agreed that it was a warranty issue and they would order the door trim parts, and call me once they were ready for installation. On closer inspection of the car, it was noted that the trim on the passenger side was defective and would need to also be replaced. Mr. Wilson said the parts would be ordered immediately, and sent to the paint shop for painting. It should be no more than a couple of weeks.
On November 16th I called Khari Young to inquire about the status. I was told the parts were received and sent out for painting, and then discovered to be the wrong parts. I again was told that the correct parts were ordered and it should be only a couple of weeks for delivery and painting. At that time I also followed up with an email to Khari confirming our conversation.
On the week before Christmas, around Dec. 22nd, I received phone mail from Khari advising that the parts were in and painted. I called Khari and advised that since it was near the holidays It would be after the new year before we could get the car in for the repair.
On Jan 10th I took the car in for repair. To my surprise only the trim for the driver’s side had been ordered. To say I was somewhat frustrated would be an understatement. I was again reassured by Mr. Wilson that the missing parts would be ordered and I would receive a call to bring the car in.
On February 5th, I took the car in for repair. I was told it should be ready in a couple of days. On Feb. 8th I received a call from Khari Young that the car would be ready by next day.
On Friday morning, Feb. 9th, I received a call advising that the car would be ready later that day and I would be called when it was to be picked up. At around 2 pm I called the dealership and was told the car was ready. When I went to pick up the car, the repair on the driver’s side had been repaired, but I questioned if the passenger side had been repaired since it looked exactly like it did when I brought the car in on February 5th. I was assured that the passenger trim had been replaced.
On the following day my wife was out shopping and as she placed some purchases in the back seat she found the newly painted trim for the passenger side laying on the floor. Obviously, I had been misinformed by the dealership. It was now over 3 months and I still didn't have a complete repair of the issue.
Since that time I have emailed the general manager of the dealership and have not received a response. I was also sent a survey in which I detailed my experience and also have not received a response.
I expect better treatment from GMC.
Excellent service to Canadians - JohnstonCanuck
Brought out new 2018 Tahoe in as the A/C was not working. Despite being literally overwhelmed with demands from clients and a 2 hour wait, David Hernandez of their service department provided us
with answers and solutions to our dilemma above and beyond the call to duty. Polite, uderstanding of our being out of country and on vacation, skilled with information and an honest forthright approach as to what they could do and which was note in the cards for that day was refreshing instead of a bunch of empty promises. As a life time GM owner I know the service guy on the front line gets all the complaints about the manufacturer who is a distant apparition .in stressful situations. David is first class and should held as a valued employee.by Starling.

Bought my 2018 ZL1 Camaro here and was very impressed with the level of customer satisfaction that is not only reflected in the sales department but in every other department as well. Courtesy, kindness, knowledgeable respectful people helped me through every step of my buying experience. Most of my dealings were through Kamal and Jessica who deserve special recognition having distinguished themselves with exemplary customer service.
Professionally handled - Billriggle
The service to replace my battery with an appt. was done pretty timely and reasonably priced. The service update board in the waiting room was not updated.
Very Poor Experience - lmthatcher2002
I grew up in a Chevy family so it was only natural that I took my son to buy his first car here. To say it was a bad experience is an understatement. We had some challenges and the only person that would ever talk to us about them was the poor sales guy. NOT ONCE did anyone higher ever step in.
Everything you could imagine was wrong: Car did not have features that we were told it did, MPG was off what we had been looking for, financing was horrible. Even though I paid them to pay off our trade in, I still ended up paying it off at the bank! Now I get to wait for a check from Cecil Clark to return my money.
Seriously? I think this is a car buyers nightmare. I feel really bad for my son.
