Transmission service - quick action by Service Department - lhensleypublic
The other day I was on my way to work when the Service Transmission light came on and my transmission went into limp mode. I went to Savage 61 (where I purchase the vehicle) to have them look at my Jeep. I went to the service desk and told John Pietrowski my problem I was having. He was very busy but he dropped everything and went to check why the CHECK ENGINE light was on. He determined it had something to do with the trans control module. He was able to get me in quickly and the problem was resolved. My Jeep is back on the road without any problems. John and the Service Dept performed very well. I am a very satisfied customer. I've purchased many vehicles from Savage 61 and the service after the purchase has always been great. I highly recommend this dealership for your next car purchase. The Service Dept will be there to help if needed after the purchase!

I bought my Jeep elsewhere, but had an early Friday morning major issue with the engine, while driving up the highway. Due to their early hours, I called and got a human at 7:30 AM. The service manager listened and told me to bring it in right away. I got it to the shop and they had someone looking under the hood in ten minutes. I was told it was "a complicated issue" and I started to wonder what I got myself into. The manager explained as much as he knew and told me to take a loaner while they worked on my car. I expected the worst. Later in the afternoon (remember, I didn't have an appointment) he called me to let me know it was fixed, but they wanted to test it one more time on Saturday morning and he asked if I could come pick it up then. I was pleasantly surprised at their speedy repair, but the best was yet to come. The car was past it 36 month warranty and I expected to get slammed. When I showed up to get the car, they told me all the repairs were under the drive-train warranty and I had no bill. Even if that were not the case, these guys were friendly, accommodating, concerned and darn good at what they do. There was no BS.
They have earned a new service customer for as long as I drive Chrysler products.

We made an offer on a minivan at a fair price. We have perfect credit and had a lot of money down. I tried to negotiate with Robert the sales manager and he absolutely refused to work a deal with us. The whole time he's feeding me a bunch of bull with a smug little smile on his face. He offered us a different vehicle with less options and triple the miles. I drove the van and the whole front end was a sloppy mess. I told him no deal, I'm not buying a car that needs to be fixed before I even buy it. We left and the very next day we went to Bennett Chevrolet. I found the EXACT minivan, color, trim etc for $10,000 less!!!! Needless to say we worked a deal and were in and out in an hour. Stay away from this crap dealership unless you have terrible credit. They love people with terrible credit doy they can really stick it to you!!! Robert has now been dubbed, "Guy Smiley" in this house because of his ridiculous, fake smile! I'll never step foot in that crap hole again!!!

I contacted Baker Jeep since I saw their internet page with the customized trucks and jeeps. I wanted my 2017 Dodge Quad Cab 4x4 lifted a bit and was not sure what direction to go. I called and was directed to speak with Joe LaRusso in parts about that type of work. Joe was extremely helpful asking me what I wanted to do, and then he went over the different options. After some thought, I decided to go with the 2.5 Leveler lift, which raises the front the match the back of the truck eliminating the rake in the front. Joe scheduled the day for me to be there and upon arriving in the service department Danielle Conte was expecting checking me in. I opted to wait for my truck and the lounge is comfortable with beverages, tv, and snacks.
Brian Reiss did the work and completed it in the allotted time I was expecting. The truck looks and drives fantastic; better than before. It was very comfortable on the 75 mile drive home (Yes, I drove that far for the service since I wanted Baker to do the work especially after talking with Joe and his consultation with service). I am used to driving a more lifted- level truck and this lift was exactly what I wanted. Brian took a few moments afterward to answer a few questions I had on other modifications I might want to do down the rode. Brian and very professional, respectful, and exceptionally experienced in his work. I could tell he takes pride in each and every job he does and it showed once I got in and drove home. The team that washed my truck at the end was very professional, too. they explained to me they were going to wash it and they handled it with exceptional care. I was not expecting a wash so that really made me smile.
In closing I want to say overall Baker Jeep exceeded my expectations and the entire staff was very professional making it feel more like lifelong friends than just a dealership. Thank you.

I explained my issue when I submitted the online form and again when I dropped it off on Saturday 8/11. I called Monday night for an update but the car wasn't ready. I called Tuesday night for an update and at that time they asked me what was wrong with the car. Really? I already told them twice (and when I received my final receipt, my instructions from the original online form submission were on there, so I know they had the information the entire time). This was lie #1 from John Smith and 4 days wasted so far. Also, they were getting ready to replace a part I had just replaced 3 weeks prior, so it seemed they had no idea what they were doing. I called Wednesday but again no update. I called Thursday night and was told they were getting ready to "pinpoint" the issue. Why are they trying to pinpoint the issue on Thursday night and not on Monday morning?? I had the first appointment on Monday at 7:30am and had scheduled it 2 weeks in advance, so it's not like I'm a big surprise to anyone. Communication had begun to drop off at this point because I told him I felt I was being ignored. It became nearly impossible to get John Smith on the phone after that. Other people started to lie for him, including Justin Cantrell and the receptionist Suzanne. We're up to lies 3, 4 and 5 by this point and 6 days wasted. Called again Friday and put on hold for another huge amount of time. Finally spoke to John and was promised my car would be ready on Saturday. Called Saturday, put on hold for 20 minutes. They then told me John had to go home for a family emergency (probably another lie) and that the technician Scott didn't show up for work that day (add that to the list of lies). Also, is Scott the only technician who can work on my car? Probably not. What if he was in the hospital for a month, would I wait for a month for him to return? I highly doubt that. At this point, it seemed as if they were holding my car hostage just to get back at me. Called Monday and Tuesday, waited on hold forever, lied to each day again. I can't count how many lies we're up to by now, but it's up to day 11. Finally, Wednesday came (day 12), I called and was put on hold by Suzanne saying there were a ton of walk-ins after she hung up on me twice and tried to send me to voicemail. I was on hold so long that I drove to the dealership while still on hold. When I walked in, there were zero customers in there, so now I'm 100% positive they are lying the whole time. Now, they say they are going to release my car to me, but I had to show up in person all irate for that to happen. Were they ever going to call me on their own to say that it was ready? Definitely not.
Of course, on the way out, my wife crashes into another customer's car. Now that John Smith needs my help, he comes to the phone immediately every time I call. How come when I need his help, he ducks and dodges my calls and has the staff and secretaries lie to me, but when he needs my help, he's suddenly all available??
I have never been so mistreated and lied to by one place in such a short amount of time before. I would have preferred to be told the truth and that I would need to wait than to have them make up a bunch of stuff and give me the run around for almost 2 weeks while I had no vehicle. They also charged me for an oil change I never asked for.
I used to be a loyal Jeep/Chrysler owner pretty much since I've had my license and had planned on supporting my local dealership for all of my future vehicle purchases and service needs, but after this experience, I will never come there for service EVER again. I will NEVER buy any cars there (hundreds of thousands of future dollars walking away right now). In fact, I am going to switch car brands because of this. When I spoke to the sales manager about my terrible experience, he said that they had recently cleaned house on the service side and I told him that they need to do it again as soon as possible. If it was my business, I would fire the whole lot of them without hesitation, including the Service manager who has no idea what is going on right under his nose.
I plan to post many reviews on the internet at every place I can find. I will tell everyone I come in contact with to never come there and never buy a car there and ask them to spread the word. I hope your dealership goes out of business.

I went here on 9/19 just to see if I can get my oil changed. One employee is arguing with a guy over problems with his car. The only other guy there gets up and goes into where they do the repairs on cars I assume because he seen me and I already made a previous review on this site that wasn't good. So I guess he didn't want to wait on me. I found out that I can go to any Dodge dealership to have the oil changed. So they won't see me again. It use to be a nice place but now it went down the toilet.

I've been buying cars and trucks from Holden Dodge since 1993 . I've always gotten a good deal with no pressure from the sales people. One thing that really impresses me is that the sales staff rarely changes. I've been dealing with the same sales person and sales manager since the first day I walked into their dealership in 1993. If they don't have the color or model you want. They will find it for you. They went all the way to Long Island NY to find me what I wanted for my last purchase.
