I got to the dealership and was not swarmed or hassled. I walked right to the 2017 Ford Raptor. I walked inside and was met by Kevin Deets who I can not say enough about. He just asked me what I wanted the keys for to look at. I didn't feel like I was being pressured or pushed around. I was extremely pleased by how knowledgeable Kevin was about the 2017 Raptor. The whole process was painless and smooth from the whole team at Fred Beans Ford, sales/fianance/warranty. I would definitely recommend this dealership. Had a good experience the day I purchased a pre-owned Escape. Was called ten days after purchasing the car to inform me they made a major error in typing in the wrong payoff amount in my paperwork nor did they call to verify the payoff. Out of coincidence the salesperson stopped working there two days after my sale.
The General Manager, Tony could care less. He showed no empathy with the situation. I then requested to speak with the owner who was just as rude. He made sure to throw in my face how long he’s been in business and that the situation would get nasty. I really was made to feel like a thief. Like a pebble in their shoe that they wanted to get rid of.
I ended up returning the vehicle back to them and getting my trade in back. Took my business elsewhere and ended up with a brand new Escape! As someone who works for a financial institution and in Customer Service, there’s a way to talk to people. I will be sure to not recommend anyone to this “family” of dealerships!!

Would not go here for ANY work to a vehicle. Had an issue with my 2015 Ford (in 2017) rear AC controls would not work properly, we were basically told user error. Our salesman checked and said this is nothing your doing wrong. Was told in the beginning of August the part was being ordered and happened to be on back order, would take two weeks. August comes and goes and coming back from vacation we needed a tire, we go to the dealership to get it replaced and asked about the part, the lady at the service desk confirms the part was ordered and they had it since the 2ned week in August....yet we NEVER received a call. Guess its good my tire had to be replaced and give them more of my money, otherwise we would have never known the part was in.
Now we have a clicking noise in the front end when turning the wheel. Take it in once, they say we couldnt recreate the sound, drive 5 minutes away and theres the sound that they couldnt recreate in 4 hours.
Setup and appointment for that following week, to be told there is an issue with a washer in the wheel. Setup an appointment for that Thursday, take it in, drive it to work, not long after, there is the clicking noise AGAIN. Back in the shop for the 3rd time the following week on a Tuesday. Get a call at 445 that the car is done. Get told that its good to go, but if we would hear the noise again to take notice of what is being done when it happens, the temp outside, is the car warm. Pick it up, drive 8 minutes home to hear the clicking noise everytime i turn the wheel. Take it back that same night to have 2 people listen to it, say "we have never heard this before". I say what if we open the hood? No one there was smart enough to open the hood to get a better idea of where the sound was coming from.
Told our warranty covers a loaner...but they dont have any...GO FIGURE. Told to drop it off first thing. I ask what time they open, 730am, car is dropped off at 710am. Call them at 1230 (5 hours into the work day) and they have yet to pull the SUV into the garage.
THREE times this vehicle has been there for the same problem and yet on the fourth time you dont make it a priority to get it in.
We had just as bad of an expirence with having a car fixed from hail damage.
Not to mention they dont call you back, no one answers the phones.
Our salesman hands down AWESOME, the majority of this place is absolutley worthless!
Steve (believe the service manager is his title), very understanding, helpful and got stuff taken care of. Andy (shop foremen) also great and got back to us very quickly. The rest need to take a lesson from these guys.

My service representative at Bergeys is totally awesome! He always goes out of his way to make my service appointments easy for me. I am always offered a loaner car which I often accept. They always wash my car before returning it and he always explains what they will be doing and the outcome of the inspection/repairs. I give Chuck B 5 stars every time that I must have my car serviced and today was no exception! I appreciate Chuck's kindness and his attention to details of my needs e.g. time, work etc.

Took our F2 250 for service told needed fuel pump ran about $1,000 okay on the bill it said they placed a relay 2 days after service exact same problem occurred took back they did what they called an exploratory. Said. The heater box had a leak on to the new fuel pump and they would silicone it and put back and charged us another $650. We had all the exact same problems as before they touched it. It would just die in its tracks on the highway 15 min later it would start. We were trying to get home to Fl. Towing our Rv as Ira just hit. We were say their mercy. If you don't have training to fix something admit it and refer customer to another facility.Don't put someone's life in their hands took to another Ford dealer within 15 minutes they told us our problem was a. Fuel pump relay told them we had a fuel pump and relay install they said impossible the relay in your truck is unserviceable the entire fuse panel would have to be removed and it would be approximately another thousand dollars so Chapman Ford never installed a relay and put our Lives In Harm's Way as the situation did not resolve itself and we were Towing an RV and the truck would just die so check your receipts everyone
I first spoke to the service mgr after the new dealership gave us the news . I said you charged us and never installed a relay, you couldn't. He said ill give you the $ back we charged for the part. I said u owe us a lot more than that.I spoke to the owner recently he was willing to give me a $300 refund of which I replied back it was not an amicable settlement as we should never have incurred the $600 additional fee the next day for nothing . we have always used a Ford dealership because we felt we had Trained techs . well guess what. Had Chapman Fords. Techs used the computer with my vin # they would have known the relay was unservicable. How can u charge for something and not do. I think there is a word for that.
Wanted Me To Pay In Advance For Insurance Claim - RogerM
I called them to have the top on my convertible replaced as the window had been damaged. Nationwide told me to make the appointment and let them know where it was going. Hertrich’s called me back and said they won’t order the part for my car unless I pay out of pocket in advance. The part is $2000. I explained that this was an approved claim through Nationwide and they said either way the part had to be paid for in advance. I spoke with Skip, the Service Mismanager and was told the same thing. This is “company policy” because he “got burned” for $300 in parts recently.
If a company can’t front the cost of a part, how good is the service going to be - assuming they can’t afford decent techs to DO the work either.
Best part is had they been at all polite about it I would have let it go. But I was given this by Ann in parts : “I’m not about to order a $1900 part without some kind of payment up front.”
I compared this to the body shop wanting sheet metal paid for and she said that the difference is that then they have the car, and if I wanted to leave my car there as “collateral” she would order the part after I dropped it off.
I thought Hertrich’s was an upstanding name in DE - seems it’s more of a Pawn Shop.

I bought a USED truck from these guys. Specifically Shane Cahill. 2015 off-lease F 150 XLT, certified, one owner, clean car fax. There was nothing pushy or salesy about these guys. I've owned plenty of cars and this is the first USED I've bought.... after finding the dealership via cars.com I made the call and from that first conversation it was a comfortable process. No "I have a real exciting offer" BS or "let's see what we can do for you can you be here within the hour"... they didn't push me. They simply provided me with the info I requested and in the end came very close to the number I wanted to hit on my trade in and on the used truck.

I recently purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado from Holman thru Dan Kane. I had found the truck on cars.com.
They had listed Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto as one of the features on cars.com. I seen the projection button while looking the truck over. Assuming that it had Andriod auto like they had stated. Didnt bother testing it out. Which I very well should have. Everything went smooth until I got the truck home. Hook up my USB cable to find out the radio does not support android. They clearly did not test all the features of the vehicle before listing them. Chevrolet wants $300 to updated the radio. That's $300 outta pocket and my time at the dealership. If I had knew this I definitely would have haggled the price. So If you decide to purchase a vehicle from Holman make sure it has all the features they state it has.
My Tund tonneau soft bed cover was not even installed correctly. It wasn't even bolted down to the mounting bracket, just velcroed on the sides. Had to make a trip to Home Depot for hardware. After messing with the cover I found glass and screws towards the front of the bed.
After lifting up my front arm rest I found dirt or mud on the seat bottom. Should have checked this before hand but that's what I get for trusting a dealership. I will take it on the chin.
Only reason I gave them one star is because there had been a lein on the title and they went outta there way to make a trip to Delaware to make sure I had my tags before my temp tag expired.
Crazy to think one of there technicians inspected this vehicle. Make sure you thoroughly inspect your vehicle before making a purchase at Holman or take the vehicle to a mechanic you trust. I will definitely be taking it to my mechanic for look over. Hope to save someone a headache with this review!
