I contacted them through the Costco auto program. Did a bit of research beforehand to decide on various makes and models that I would be interested in, and then went in and spent time with Morocco test driving. They had a very nice used CR-V that met my needs, quoted me a price that was in line with the book value for the condition of the car, and we made the deal. None of the unpleasant car-buying negotiation that often happens in these situations. I would recommend them whole heartedly!

Qali or Q.ali was our sales person when we went to Klein Honda in Everett to buy a new Odyssey. He showed us the vehicles without a buying pressure whatsoever. He was super nice and knowledgeable about the Honda products. We went on a test drive and left to test drive next door. there was no pressure, he was confident that we will be back which was right. He told us what we were not gonna like in other minivan which was right on point.
Overall, very Happy with our purchase. Thank you Q.ali for showing us what customer service is all about. With after sale follow up. Which is rare in this digital age.

Joshua was extremely knowledgeable! He also seemed to be interested in what we wanted, not what he thought we should have. I would rate Joshua a 10 out of 10. We also met Alion, who we were to met. However, he had to leave and Joshua filled-in for him. We met Alion near the end of our purchase and he seemed very nice and knowledgeable as well. Our last new car purchase was in 2005 - also @ West Hills Honda. It was a rather exhausting experience this time - 6 hours to buy a car. We paid cash - no financing, yet they still needed a credit report. The only negative part of the buying experience that we didn't like was with the Finance person.. He was relentless in his attempt to get us to purchase up to $6,000 worth of various insurance plans. The feeling was similar to getting-off a plane in Mexico and all the time share people pouncing on you as you exit the airport. Unfortunately, it seems all Dealerships try to sell you insurance plans, so this Dealership is no different from the rest. My understanding is that the insurance plans are big money makers for the Dealer. Lastly, the All State rep. was nice, but this is another aspect of the buying process that we didn't need. You should give buyers a choice if they want to speak with an insurance agent, not just make it part of the process to purchase a vehicle.

Our salesperson Polo is very knowledgeable about Hondas and answered all of my questions when I called the dealership (several times) and was never pushy. When we arrived he listened to what I was looking for in a car and asked questions and found the perfect "Fit" for us. We were greeted nicely when we first walked through the front door too and I felt like employees have a good sense of humor there. I also appreciated the offer for a cup of coffee. I took my 2016 Accord in today for an oil change and the multi-point inspection (and a car wash). It was a comfortable and easy experience. Actually, it always is. A simple thing which I really appreciate is that if they tell me of some minor service job that needs to be done, and I think I can do it myself and save a few bucks, they advise me of how to go about it so it will be simpler for me. Is that great, or what?

I shopped around for months. I am not an impulsive person and a strict planner based on a budget. I reached out to many Honda dealers within 50 miles. The majority were not willing to work around my questioning. I knew what I wanted but guaranteed them no quick sale which I believe forced them to treat me as a child. I got half answers and emails ignored. My purchase was definite, but my timeline was stretched over the few months. One dealer even walked away as I asked inquisitive questions. Fortunately Honda products speak for themselves so I sought another dealer with persistence. If someone was willing to work for me I would be good to them in return. A work associate recommended Tacoma because he had a friend (Theo Jensen) who worked in the service department. Went in on a busy weekend and was directed to a new salesman named "A" Ron Jennings. I told him my circumstances and my two week timeframe. He disclosed that he would offer a deal twice before I would leave and if I declined he would be patient. He walked me through multiple scenarios and numbers based on down payment, trade in value, addition of packages, etc. His demeanor was relaxed and not at all pushy, even knowing I would not purchase on this day. He spent around 2 hours of his time with me even knowing I would not buy, which was greatly appreciated. As a new associate there were many questions he could not answer, but grabbed someone who could better explain. It was awesome to learn along with the young salesman who could take what he learned and assist a future car buyer. By the end of our session he offered 2 deals and I dismissed them and he asked no more. I took his phone number and assured him a sale the next Saturday. Throughout the workweek I text him with some ridiculous questions that he promptly adhered an answer to and checked in on me to verify our appointment. Saturday came around and I needed to sign and run very quickly. He turned me out with the help of the wonderful woman doing the paperwork (forgot her name). Everyone had an amazing sense of humor and not at all the "pushy" sense of style that one would expect from sales people. I was giving honest answers and a fantastic deal to accommodate my budget. I had the best car leasing experience and this endeavor made me a long term Honda buyer. Will always continue to do business with Tacoma in particular and always keep my business with Honda. If you are looking for an easy, honest, and overall fun experience, remember the name "A" Ron (pronounced Aaron, not Ron) Jennings from South Honda Tacoma.

If the price you're quoted seems a little high and you want to check out another dealership, then prepare for the hard sell. "Oh, I don't want you shopping this around." Me: "Are you denying me the right to look around for the best deal?" "Well, will you but from someone else if he offers $5 less?" Me: "No." "How about $50?" Me: "Probably not." "How about $100?" Me: "Uh, I think I'll go now." Standing in the middle of the showroom, blocking my way out, "Look, I don't want to waste anyone's time, but....Me: "Chris, you're wasting my time." Then he slaps my keys and registration in my hand and walks away. That left me to wander around the dealership looking for my car that they'd parked somewhere else. The experience was humiliating in the extreme. I'd give this sales-baby, his employer and sadly, Costco's Auto Program, zero stars if I could.

Good Experience - Honda CRV's Rule
Its an awesome place to look for your future car. Its near a lot of shops, hospitals, freeway in case you need to take a break or waiting to get your affairs in order. They also have FREE water, coffee, a lounge to relax. First, it was a little stressful in buying a car and wanting something you would like. I would suggest doing research in looking for your car and bring it to the dealer to try to help you out. In case, they dont have it on the lot, they can try to get it from another dealer or lot. After selecting your car, then your have to get car insurance, see finance, it's pretty much downhill from there. Its fast, depending on the day, I would suggest early in the day, gives you time and the dealer. Mark Baker is more than a salesman trying to earn money for his family. He is family. You belong to a family in Honda Lynnwood for life!! Its not prefect, but Mark is patient, good sense of humor , and knowledgeable about cars. Ask for Mark, you cant go wrong. We Purchased our first Honda in 2005 and 4th Honda two weeks ago, Renton Honda has lost it’s customer service excellence with their new owners AutoNation. We will without question purchase our next Honda any where but at AutoNation.
The service department is still outstanding, but we are looking for our new Honda home for continuing care and maintenance of our 2018 CR-V.
Overcharging 9-30-17 - Frank M.....
9-18-17 Car (99 Civic) would not start and was towed to Aberdeen Honda.
Scott the Service Manager called, said bad wiring to starter from battery and bad battery. Estimate
was $500. I said you are not fixing it. I had it towed via AAA auto to Capital Honda, Olympia.
The part was ordered and available the next day at 7:30 AM. The mechanic started the work and was
done after 8 pm. Total cost was $177 parts and labor plus battery tested good and is noted on
on the repair order. I'm never going back to Aberdeen Honda. It is a very DISHONEST dealership.

Went here first to look at the Honda Fit. I made it clear that I did not want to play the normal sales games. They assured me that they would not, and they didn't, if you want to go by the letter of the law. There was no lying, or hard core 'keep em in the sales area at all costs' tactics. But they did play that sickening sweet "see how I'm treating you well" why laying on all the underhanded guilt tripping, team tagging and doubt casting tricks in the book. AND they would not give me the bottom line unless I 'committed' to buy my car from them nor would they break out costs for me. Lots of shucking and jiving about how the manufacturers 'just don't work that way anymore'. I HATE being treated like an idiot. HATE it! Its extremely transparent, guys. Knock it off!
......hopefully they learn to be honest and straight forward, because this experience sucked!
