The rudest salesman I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with. On Monday I bought a brand new Kia Sorento SXL from Lee Johnson Kia in Kirkland. Beforehand, I visited Car Pros Kia in Renton to see if I could get them to compete on price and get myself a better deal. I was 100% honest with the salesman who clearly didn't believe the price I was telling him Lee Johnson offered me, being so rude as to accuse me of lying, and then telling ME that *I* was insulting HIM. Despite showing him the LJ website with a similar vehicle (albeit not THE vehicle I was looking at purchasing). He then accused me of doctoring the website to drop the price. He kept pressuring me to phone LJ and put them on speakerphone, and was making it sound like it was going to be a lot of effort for them to even try and come close on price (he maintained that LJ were taking a loss on the sale at the price advertised). Why should I tolerate being called a liar by a salesman who stinks of cigarette smoke and is selling a less well equipped vehicle for almost 10% more. I ended up walking away from him and leaving with the salesman standing right outside the window of my car. Well Car Pros, the joke is on you, I went back to LJ and bought the vehicle, and I will never be coming anywhere near your dealership again.

I know this wasn’t an easy sale. Zach was my salesman. My husband and I were trading in my Kia Forte 5 for an SUV. We hadn’t decided between the Sportage and Sorento, Zach listened to what we were looking for in a vehicle and we were able to decide that a Sorento would best suit our needs. My husband and I had different criteria, so I know it was really complicated. Zach was extremely patient and very nice through the entire sale. The manager, Chris, was also very patient and helpful. We worked with John Brown in finance, who was also wonderful and answered all of our questions and concerns. Would absolutely recommend the dealership and Zach to anyone looking for a vehicle!

Pleasant friendly, no pressure sale people EXCEPT see number 4 below (very unpleasant finance lady. As soon as she found out we we not going to buy an extended warranty she became incredibly rude and rushed us out the door. Will not want to work with her again. If she is the only person who does the finance stuff I will have to buy my next Kia elsewhere!!!

The Sales Manager Damon was such a tremendous help and an extreme breath of fresh air for us in our recent car purchasing history. The dealership was so hands-on with getting us in the best vehicle but with such a relaxing vibe. The process took less that two hours which is so much shorter than previous vehicle purchases.

This week I did something I never thought I would do; I bought a brand new car. After a terrible experience buying my last car from Ford of Kirkland, I was nervous about the process of visiting dealers to view the different models to find what worked for my wife and I. I definitely went to some aggressive and even rude dealerships; but not Lee Johnson Kia. I've never been to a dealership with such a patient, helpful and accommodating sales team. I dealt directly with Brian and Braulio and both were fantastic. I visited the dealership several times to check out the vehicle I was interested in, and didn't feel pressured at all into making a purchase I was not prepared to make. They were very knowledgeable and honest about the model I was interested in, and the Kia brand, and they really sold it as a fantastic, reliable choice of vehicle. The gave what I feel were honest comparisons with other similar models, and other manufacturers, and encouraged me to really look around, and evaluate what I wanted in a new, or used vehicle. They even helped source used models of the SUV I wanted so that I could make the decision for myself whether I wanted to buy new or used, even if it wasn't from them. After visiting a dozen dealers to look at both used and new mid-size SUVs, I returned (without any pestering, desperate sounding phone calls or emails, as I received from other dealerships) and told them that if we can find the right price, I'd take the car today. Unfortunately Brian had already left for the day (I headed in after work), so I completed the deal with Braulio who was incredibly helpful in helping us strike the right deal, giving us a very fair value for our trade in, as well as what we felt was a fantastic price on the new car (I had been to two other Kia dealers to see if I could spark a price war, and one accused me of lying about the price at Lee Johnson, and the other point blank said they wouldn't attempt to compete). Even though I got there late in the day, the Lee Johnson team were diligent in completing the pre-delivery inspection, detailing and getting the tank filled up for us. The finance advisor was the nicest I've dealt with of all the cars I've bought, and was very helpful in getting the outstanding finance on our trade-in dealt with, as well as finding us the best rate on the finance for the new vehicle. The post-sale options such as prepaid maintenance and full 10 year bumper to bumper warranty were explained clearly, and the decision completely left to us with no pressure or scare tactics to upsell. In fact, the upgraded 10 year, 100k mile Zurich extended bumper to bumper warranty was priced such that I initially thought there must be some sort of catch; It was cheaper, with better coverages, and fewer exclusions than similar third party extended warranties I'd been quoted for both used, and new vehicles. Yesterday night I hit 100 miles on the ODO and so far, my wife and I are thoroughly satisfied with our purchase; long may that continue! Thanks to the team at the dealership for really turning the car salesman stereotype on its head, and thanks to Kia for creating such a great looking and feature-packed vehicle (2019 Sorento SX Limited). If you're in the market for a new, or used vehicle, give Kia, and Lee Johnson a shot; I had a fantastic experience with them, and hopefully you will too!
Terrible - Disappointed
Salesman made lots of promise's but has not followed through with any. Supposed to get the battery replaced but has not. Supposed to receive a free first oil change but they're never available. Only got one key for the vehicle I purchased and it doesn't work on all the locks and it's broken so it won't stay on a ring. They bent me over and on this purchase
