I drove two hours to purchase my new Ford F-150 from Sunset Ford, and I'd of drove ten more! From my initial chat with Chelsey on the internet, to the excellent sales team of Craig and Larry, and the final paperwork with Justin, I just can't say enough about their excellent customer service.
Craig took the time to explain everything and I felt like I was at a small hometown dealership, something I wasn't expecting from a big city dealership. Craig was upfront and honest and worked for me, something else I wasn't expecting from a salesman.
Justin made sure I was getting the best deal on my loan and took the time to show me multiple options for financing my truck. He took the time to explain the extended warranties and I didn't feel pressured to make a purchase.
Overall I would recommend taking the time to check out Sunset Ford, they make the car buying experience fun again. First time in a very long time that I didn't feel like I had to work hard for my deal, instead I felt like the dealership was working for me.

My wife and I arrived at the dealership late on Saturday afternoon, November 25, 2017. We did not know exactly what we were looking for and so Mr. Karateew showed us a number of vehicles - Lincolns and Fords. Throughout that time, Mr. Karateew was very friendly, patient, courteous, and helpful. He went with us on test drives of several vehicles explaining various aspects of the vehicles. After purchasing the Ford Escape SUV, he was extremely helpful in explaining all the electronic/technology features on the vehicle. That was important to us.
The woman who took care of all the financial documents was also very helpful and very friendly.

I will admit some fault in this for being trusting and not reading everything I signed. I purchased a car 3 months ago. I shopped for a while a found exactly what I was looking for at Schicker Ford. It was McMahon Ford. I guess with business practices like this they don't want to have their name out there. They had a good price online. I went and tried to get a little more money off and my salesman who is no longer there said he couldn't do it. That was ok I had shopped around and I new the price was good. I had a very pleasant interaction with my salesman who was the internet manager and said he had been there for many years and planned to be there many more. Well now he is gone. I didn't get there until 8 pm at night. The car was as advertised. I wanted to wait until the next day to purchase which the internet sales manager understood. He asked for a deposit to hold the car. I said I planned on putting A lot of money down but I didn't have all of it on me. So I would just be back in the morning. The sales manager a much younger guy in a slick suit came out and got super pushy. I understand I am in sales too and know that if you don't make a deal you might not get the customer back. I did like the car and knew I wanted to buy it so I agreed to give him the $2,000 I had on me. Eventhough I highly doubted someone would come in and buy the car in the next 10 minutes before they closed. I handed the sales manager $2,000. I asked for a receipt. He said he didn't have a way to give me a receipt for cash (should have been a huge red flag) but took a selfie of us with the money and said he was going to text me the photo. I come back the next morning and purchase the vehicle and I am happy as can be. I put down the rest of my Money and financed the rest. They got me a good rate and a good extended warranty. Two weeks later I get transfer to an East Coast territory for my job. Once I get moved I am going through my paperwork so I can update my car loan with my new address. I notice this big form they gave me that listed the only money down as the money I gave when I actually purchased the car and not my original $2000 as well. I was a little upset but realize that it could be an honest mistake. I call my salesman and he informs me he is no longer at the dealership. Great problem one. He gives me the sales managers name who took the original deposit and told me he was still there and could take care of it. I have called this guy dozens of times. He screens my calls but got him to answer a couple of times by calling from different numbers. The first time he answered he said give him a day to look into it. He doesn't remember because he sells hundreds of cars but he would tear the place apart looking for the money. Guess what he never calls back. The only other time I got him to answer he cut me off and said it wasn't a good time. If I was still living in St Louis I would go park in his office. I have tried calling his boss a few times but I was told he runs multiple stores and is rarely there. I do share some responsibility. I didn't read everything that I signed. I will be back in town for Thanksgiving and will go there to try to resolve this matter. If I get my money back I will update this review. I hate blasting businesses on the internet because I am sure 95% of the people that work there are honest. There aren't many businesses left in the city and I hate doing this but I feel like it is my only recourse. Beware of the used car sales manager at Schicker formerly McMahon Ford on Kingshighway.

I bought a 2017 Nissan 370Z from Weir Ford in November of 2017 as seen on Cars.com. I called and talked to the salesman who did a complete walk around and sent additional pictures. We discussed price and made arrangements for the sale. I travelled from Oklahoma to the dealership. Michael was nice enough to pick me up from the hotel and bring me to the dealership. The car was as advertised. Very clean and maintained. No surprises. The funds transfer and paperwork went quickly. Once again no surprises. No additional costs were added. All costs were exactly as discussed on the phone or email. The staff at Weir were very friendly and fast. Always a little nervous working from the internet and travelling a long distance to buy a vehicle but Michael and crew made it a good experience.

I am certainly not an unrealistic person and while I don’t love the process of buying a new car, it is a necessity in life. We had called on Friday and talked to Jaci to verify that a jeep was available that we seen online! We drove 1 hour over in the rain and I specifically told her that we needed to be at 6k on trade in and if they couldn’t do it, no hard feelings. The online price of the Jeep was 32,404, so when she comes back to sit down she says you will love this deal! She then proceeds to inflate the price back up to MSRP and say, but we are giving you more for your trade than what it’s worth.
Are you freaking kidding me? You must think we are morons to not catch that you did not start with the price that was advertised. There was no reason for this. If you want to give less for a trade then just be honest about it, not deceptive! I WILL NEVER VISIT HERE AGAIN and will push for anyone I know to not ever patron this dealership!!!!

Dealt with a salesman named Skyler via email. I offered a price for a used vehicle on their lot, and instead of simply saying no we can't go that low, was offered an 8 year old high mileage, overpriced car. When I showed him another of the same year vehicle on AutoTrader with way less miles and priced way lower, he had a sarcastic response about not being able to finance it or get a warranty because it was a private seller. Apparently he thinks you can only finance a car and get a warranty through a car dealership. If this is what I have to deal with via email, why would I ever set foot in their dealership? Oh by the way, it's Schicker Ford now. Changing the name doesn't hide the terrible service.
